Then, I picked and chose items to drop into the top, middle, and bottom of my website from all three options. I've been focus grouping the results on the final design and my target audience is loving it right away.  I work with two Emilies who are managing my project. Each time we work, the project moves forward in a jump.  When I'm explaining something to them about my business, they get it, and share something similar I can model after to help me explain further. This gets us over any stuck points, helps us refine things much more quickly, and the project is coming along rapidly.  To say that I recommend this team to you highly is an understatement. I have recommended them in the past week and a half to three business owners.  Bottom line: There are some people who do all the work, while others sit back. The Diamond Group, is a team made up of those who do all the work, and they sit together at one table and collaborate on their side of the project to create the full output in one place, in a cohesive way, with each specialty like graphics, writing, social media, and search engine marketing, all collaborating from the start of the project; to set you up to be a marketing powerhouse. Here’s what I experienced during my 3-month engagement – take from it what you will:  • Paid $10,000 for first month’s “Momentum Phase” for planning. (I actually thought this was a good idea, until they parted ways with me 3 months into our contract and kept my $10,000). • Billed $3,594 for two “Landing Pages” that were never built at all. • Paid $994 for “Facebook Campaign Management” that never went live or generated any leads. • Was billed $2,794 for “Google Ads Management” that was never even turned on or generated a single lead. • Paid $4,600 for “Email & SMS Campaign Management” – not one email or SMS was ever sent. • Paid just under $4,000 for “SEO/Blog/Social Content” – no SEO technical fixes done, no back links or guest posts (per the SOW), got FOUR blog posts that were 100% AI-generated, and 3 of 24 social posts actually posted. • Paid $2,500 for a small amount of “Graphic Design” that was marginal at best. • Paid $3,750 for a “HubSpot Integration”. Was told this was done in-house, but user logs showed they just farmed the work out to HubSpot. • Was aggressively sold a $23,000 “Annual Contract” with HubSpot that I’m still stuck with – I’m guessing they are still collecting commissions.  Plus, my lead volume dried up over 3 months under their watch, costing me six-figures in lost revenue. Ouch.  In the end, I received a small partial refund of a few thousand dollars, but ZERO leads and NO revenue generated over a three-month period for almost $40,000 in lost fees would be devastating for most small business owners, like it was for me.  Anyway, these are the details about my VERY costly mistake – thought they were worth sharing here.  I don’t think these are totally incompetent or malicious people, but I find the concept of causing this much damage to my business and keeping $30,000 of someone’s money while delivering virtually zero value to be pretty unethical.  Maybe you agree…and should make your choice accordingly, so you avoid a similar catastrophe. Just isn't worth the risk.  UPDATE: Feel free to read their recent response - you’ll note that it includes no actual facts or rebuttal of the very specific details I posted originally. Everything I posted was factual, to the dollar and the deliverable.  More truth: I was not provided with a “cause” or 30 days notice, so now they are just lying. They did offer to “complete the remaining scope of work” to avoid giving me back my money. Would you entrust more of your marketing to a company that just told you they don’t want to work for you, especially when they had just lit a dumpster fire over the past two months? Probably not.  Also, I did not “agree” to a refund - as I said originally, I was offered less than a quarter of the money I paid them and they delivered exactly what I listed above…nothing.  If you don’t like me or don’t want to work with a me, fine. Just don’t deliver literally ZERO value or useful work, completely derail my small local business, and then feel justified in keeping $30,000 for no ethical reason.
