Love this place. Been here everyday this week. Staying in the nearby hotel. Bea was so much fun. The food was the best. We will be back each time we come to Baltimore!

The guy behind the bar is one of the best bartenders in the city! He keeps the atmosphere fun and interacts with everyone. Water street has some of the best bartenders and food in the city A+ every time I visit.

This is a great local establishment near many of the attractions of downtown Baltimore. Our family of four ordered a variety of entrees, as well an appetizer of mussels. Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly. We will be back next time we’re in town!

On a recent trip to Baltimore we discovered this place and I fell in love with it. It has that hole in the wall appearance inside, but the food is good, the drinks more than sufficient and well priced, and the service from Jess, the bartender, couldn't have been better. Friendly, constantly checking to see if we needed anything, even friendly to a guy who was being a jerk. Kudos, Jess. If I lived there, this would be a hangout for me. Thanks from Indiana, Jess. (What we spent included multiple drinks and supper.)

In from out of town for work. Perfect spot for a casual relaxed meal and great service. Aj said she was new but she held it down like a champ! The crab soup was fantastic.

Came by on Thursday night (2 days ago) and the bartender was awesome! She kept the bar lively, was super friendly, and didn’t stop moving. She was running both bars and still made sure everyone was taken care of. The vibe was great, and the food was amazing as always. 10/10 for both the bartender and the cooks!

Lively late-night tavern, perfect for after concerts nearby! Kitchen stays open late, too - got the mussels and loved em! Eclectic folks, classic pub.

AMAZING crabcakes!! Jessica, our server, recommended them and they did not disappoint. Everything was great and we would definitely come back.

I stopped in here because the usual place I go was full. This may be my new usual place. Food was hot, fresh and delicious and the prices were reasonable. There was a good selection of beer at about six bucks a pint.

10/10! Food was absolutely Devine. My favorite was the fried zucchini. Im also somewhat of a cocktail SHnob & the drinks (rum punch) were also 10/10. Friendly environment. VERY focused.

This spot was a short walk from our hotel we were staying in for the Orioles game and the food and drinks were the best we've had on our trip to downtown! Chi was such a hilarious and gracious bartender our service was incredible! We highly recommend the famous tavern wings YUM! 5 stars! we will be back!

Was in Baltimore for three days and was looking for a place that wasn’t too far from my hotel, found this place and it was so good we had to return for a second time. Service was great (Chi was very friendly both times we made a visit,) restaurant had a very calm atmosphere that made it very enjoyable and honestly is one of the best places to eat at in the Inner Harbor that is not expensive but still servers great food which comes in big portions that could feed multiple, would highly recommend and would be here more often if this was my home town.

Second night here…our first night was meat loaf and spaghetti…,food was great and more than ample portions…came back tonight and the server said welcome back…Chi is a great employee and makes you feel welcome….would recommend to someone looking for a good place to eat…

I was in town earlier this week for an educators' conference, and we found Water Street Tavern for lunch one day. The atmosphere was relaxed (it was fairly empty, as I imagine many bars are for lunch!), and we were seated immediately and served promptly. I ordered the blackened salmon sandwich, which was absolutely delicious, and came with above-average pub-style fries (a personal favorite). Our server, Chi, was very friendly and attentive. If you're in the area, give Water Street Tavern a try!

The food and atmosphere is alright, but my favorite bartender is why I return. Aurelio is hands-down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. I moved to the area 6 months ago and Aurelio makes the place - my neighborhood bar feels like home. He’s funny, kind, and genuinely welcoming, which is exactly what I needed as a new local. He has good energy, his drinks are always on point, and he has a way of welcoming everyone that makes you feel like you truly belong. I keep coming back because of him and I’m probably not the only one. He’s an absolute gem!

We saw this restaurant on Google and since it was close to our hotel, we decided to give it a try. We tried the Honey Hot Wings, Jerk Wings, and Spinach/Artichoke Dip. The wings were perfectly crispy, and the dip was nice and cheesy! Chi, our server, was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

We are not from around here and man do I wish we were! The food is not only incredible but the server/bartender/ granddaughter is incredible also. The wings and steak sandwich are a must! The atmosphere and Chi our server made everything more enjoyable! Definitely would drive here if you are anywhere close to here!

Came in here Friday night after the O’s game as we were hungry and looking for food within walking distance. Wings were really good and so was my burger. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly bartenders.

If you are looking for a local spot in Baltimore’s inner harbor area, THIS IS IT!!! Service is unmatched, B the general manager had great suggestions for us. The wings were out of this world, nothing you would get at any chain like BW’s or elsewhere.

Service is on point, food is great. I will be back. The General Manager gave us the best suggestions on what to order and what to do in the area. The attention to each customer shows they appreciate their guest.

Best service and super close to orioles stadium

This place was close enough to walk to Camden Yards…. Stopped in for some crab cakes and got a full sized crab cake… super delicious plus the fries were super crispy and hot…. Loved the trip b4 the game yesterday. The pineapple upside down Cocktail was the best I’ve ever had….We’ll be back.. I’m excited for more cocktails and food.

Kitchen was open until 1am on a Wednesday night. We had 8 people in our party and the waitstaff made sure our order was in before the kitchen closed! Everything was wonderful!!!

My date and I came to this spot to grab a few drinks after seeing Katt Williams perform. We ended up ordering food from the menu. I am back on my pescatarian diet and the menu had food items to my delight. I ordered the crab dip, fried calamari, and I ordered the entree with the fried shrimp. She ordered the Ruben. The food was great and flavorful. We ate at the bar and the bartender, Keri, was very nice to us and provided terrific service. Thanks for making my date great. I will definitely return.

Crab cake Sammy is a banger, can’t go wrong, good prices on food and drinks, Julio and Anna are the best! Both so kind and fun that create a great atmosphere! Definitely cannot go wrong here at this place. Favorite spot.

Stopped for late lunch on Monday afternoon. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the very friendly Whitney who helped us decide what to order. I had the Maryland crab soup which was delicious. My husband has Grandmas meatball sub and the homemade meatballs were delicious. It was loaded with cheese and the roll was crisp and tasty.

Great place for a late night bite!

The atmosphere is very relaxed hole in the wall bar feel. The service was quick and wonderful. The crab cake was the best I have ever had. Between the remoulade with a hint of something different, the coleslaw with a sprinkle of old bay and the crab cake that was so full of meat there was little to no filler everyone is sure to be blown away by this modest venue. 10/10 recommend this place.

Great happy hour drink specials and the crab cake sandwich was great. Jodi did and awesome job with service and great with recommending things. Will definitely be back the next time I am in Baltimore.

Had jury duty today and thought it was the perfect time to check out a new (to me) place. I've driven by the water street tavern a million times but never been inside. The crab cake was delicious. Fries hot and fresh. And I loved the coleslaw. Service was great and friendly. I'll definitely be back and look forward to sitting outside in the spring.

Mario's strawberry margaritas are the best.... Not only does this man have a great attitude and his hard-working but his drinks keep you coming back. Let's not forget about the food I work at a restaurant and still come here to order my food. Whether you live here or you're in town you need to come check this place out.

Came here with man, we had never been here before because we’re from Philly. Pedro made Great Henny and lemonades! And the food was soooo good. I got the mussels (so tasty) and the Asian Bbq wings . My man got the Diplomat burger and it was delicious ! Will be back for lunch!

Staying nearby & hotel recommended this place. The crab cakes and crab dip are amazing. It is a tavern but the dining room area was not loud or obnoxious. Our bartender/ server was a super sweet guy & he and the security guard answered all our questions about the area & were very helpful.

Late night locals bar. Friendly crowd and close to Renaissance Marriott. Decided to walk here for drinks and a late night dinner because the hotel stops room service at 10. It was well worth the walk. The wings were crispy and juicy. The burger was cooked to order.

Incredible place. Food was unbelievably delicious. One of the best crab cakes annd mussels we’ve ever had! Also, our server, Pedro, was extremely kind and attentive. Definitely will be returning when we are back in the area!

Wife and I went in for drinks. Bartender took order and started chatting with a friend on phone about weekend. Waited 15 minutes and watched him reading menu how to make a rum runner which was a house specialty. He was lost and confused and disappeared for ten minutes. We walked out. A person like this has no right to be bartender.

This was the very first restaurant I stopped at on my move to Baltimore as it was walking distance from my new place. We sat on the patio with my dog Hazel and had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was great, and the chef even came to talk to us. The food and drinks were excellent!

Great food good prices! We had Steak, soft and flavorful, Delicious large Lumpy crab cake, Perfect French fries, crunchy on the outside, perfectly soft inside, BBQ ribs. It was all sumptuous. Nice helpful staff. Highly recommend anyone interested in supporting local places to dine here.

Very friendly and relaxed locally-owned bar! My husband and I stopped in here for a cold drink and quick lunch after walking around the Inner Harbor, and were very glad to have found this place. It was exactly the "vibe" we were hoping for, and the food was fresh. Genuinely the best crab cakes I have had in Maryland! Wings are fried, but not greasy, really delicious. The bartender had a great beer suggestion for me when I didn't know what exactly I wanted from their drafts. It was a really nice break after being on our feet, and we would have stayed for a few more drinks if we hadn't had to get ready for an event we're going to this evening. A great stop-in if you're looking for a good hot meal and a smooth cold drink.

We had three generations, all with different taste buds, and this restaurant fit the bill with its well-rounded selection; from crab cakes to pizza, and everything in between. The service was great, bathroom was clean and food was delicious. Recommend for its food variety and ambiance. We were able to dine outside on a beautiful day.
