Today We visited The Potting Shed for afternoon tea to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was absolutely wonderful! The sandwiches, cakes, and Quiche Lorraine were amazing — so much so that we even bought some extra quiche to take home with us. We couldn’t manage the scones at the time because we were so full, but they made a perfect treat later on. The staff were fantastic — professional, attentive, and friendly, even though they were really busy. They made sure we were well looked after from start to finish. Highly recommend The Potting Shed for a bite to eat or afternoon tea — you won’t be disappointed!

Good price and good collection. Find these clematis for £9.9, around 3ft tall in decent condition, can't complain. This is also a good place to go for if you want to build a hanging basket.

I must admit I do not have green thumbs, but the flowers were pristine and beautiful and the presentation was excellent. The best quality of this place is that all the staff are helpful, are happy to be helpful and generally just have really excellent character. Not an expert on this kind of thing, but 5* from me.

What a lovely garden centre and more. We visited Singletons after a friend recommended a visit was worthwhile. Not like the usual commercial garden centre's, a well laid out array of plants and shrubs. Plus a very pleasant Cafe, doing a range of snacks and hot drinks . I purchased an extendable gutters and fascia cleaner, at a reasonable price. I later had to revisit Singletons to get the extendable pole replaced, no problem the G.M. said and sorted out a new pole straight away. Great service many thanks.

Afternoon tea was lovely nice fresh sandwiches and delicious cakes.will definitely be going again ,and can highly recommend.

Went tonight 14/12/23 for the christmas shopping evening, had a delicious meal in the potting shed. The food, service and entertainment were exceptional. Would definitely recommend everyone who wants some lovely food and service to give the potting shed a visit you won't be disappointed.

Great products and lovely Cafe at The Potting Shed. Biggest scones ever!

I have just had 6 bulk bags of aggregate from these guys. I live in a location that is really difficult to get large deliveries to the drive, 150 yard down a twisting narrow track off the main road. Whilst it wasn’t without issues, Singletons persisted, downscaling delivery truck 3 times to get the job done. Never a hint of a moan or suggestion they would call it a day and just refund me. The “bigger” companies nationally would never have persisted. I now have a beautiful drive, even if the drivers at Singletons have probably reserved a special place in hell for me! 👍 Can’t recommend them enough.

A fantastic family run business, kind, friendly, and welcoming staff, and above all helpful and informative. They're very competitively priced. If you have any garden requirements, wether it's plants, landscaping, sheds, or garden features, or maybe you want to have a browse to kill a few hours there's also a lovely café to have a cuppa and snack then this is the place to go.
