The people at this place are amazing. They will take care of your pet and make sure you are comfortable as well. Not every visit is a simple checkup, or routine visit. When things get scary they really shined a bit of light. They let him keep his blanket and they also helped with a carrier for my boy as he lost his rear legs mobility! Prices were also very reasonable!

Dr. Block & staff are so compassionate. Baby Cow loves to go see everyone, even with her broken toe. Thankful for them always!

The staff was absolutely wonderful, they squeezed my pup in last minute when her normal vet couldn’t and treated her like a princess! Dr. Block was wonderful and really took the time to look her over and dispel the concerns I had as well as thoroughly educate me. We will now be regulars of theirs!🙂

The staff took great care of my sweet cat Debian on her journey over the rainbow bridge. We received a plaster cast of her paw and a sweet card from all the staff.

My dog did the unthinkable (in my eyes) and really caused some serious damage to herself. I did my very best to hold it together but honestly inside I was freaking out. The Dr., vet techs and the entire staff were so amazing to get my girl in right away (they squeezed us in the same day) and treated her so great. I was very glad that I chose them to take my baby to. They are not only amazing with my pup but were very thorough and did not rush the process , very knowledgeable and not were pushy. The Dr knew exactly what I knew just from the explanation I gave in the phone to someone else. She took and look and confirmed what I knew going in. I highly recommend Kenneth City neighbors to support local as much as possible but in This case Pinellas Park, St Pete and Largo you may want to come into St Pete and let the experts take care of your animals because they are very good and passionate about what they do. CAH is a great place to bring your pets if they need care. They looked after my kitten Heaven when I brought her in. They informed me of her issues, right away. The assistant Alex would come in and tell me what was going on and the treatment they were giving her in the back. Even Dr. Block came and explain what she seen on Heavens x-ray. I wish I would've gone to them sooner. My Heaven is now in heaven she passed away this afternoon 9/20/2025.

We love Community Animal Hospital. They have been caring for my 3 dachshunds since tiny puppies - I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Not only are the doctors up to date on new courses of action, the doctors and staff are so caring!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! The staff is friendly from the front door and the techs/docs in the back couldn’t be any better!! My sweet baby Tito is terrified of everything and everyone but he LOVES everyone at Community Animal Hospital!! It didn’t cost a fortune either which is ALWAYS wonderful! I can not compliment this office enough! I called in the am and had an "emergency" visit just hours later. Hannah was not only our tech but the same amazing person whom I had spoken to on the phone. She was clear and concise about pricing, procedures, and medications. She was patient and very loving to my baby. She was also incredibly knowledgable about everything we asked and took the time to educate and walk us through the medications. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved dog Mia today. Everyone at Community Animal Hospital was great. Mia was the best loving dog we ever owned. Her departure has left a huge hole in our hearts as our tears flow. Thanks to the great care from Dr. Block this past week and Dr Mullenax kindness in helping me say goodbye to Mia and the caring staff. It made Mia’s departure a beautiful precious experience. This is the last picture of Mia and her PaPa Dad Dog. She even looks like she smiled for it while in extreme pain. That’s the kind of great dog she was for over 12 years.

The entire staff is caring, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the care for our Golden Retriever in terms we can understand!!

Staff and Dr. were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to explain complex issues to a normal person like me, and I understood them easily. Our pug Lucy is normally shy around strange people, but nothing but kudos to everyone here for getting her to cooperate so easily. If you are looking for a vet, I am giving a recommendation for here.

Very good staff. Pricing is better than most but not super cheap. No pressures added and they treat our dogs like their own. Been with them for many years. I do recommend highly.

I cannot say enough good things about the people at Community Animal Hospital. Our dog Bruce didn’t have the best start to life when we found him and I needed to get him into a vet ASAP. They were able to accommodate us so quickly and helped us prioritize his care without pressuring us to do everything at one time. The staff there is so caring and treat us like family every time we walk through the door. If you love your fur babies as much as I love mine, this is the place you want to go forever!!
