We had a great safari encounter tour and were able to see lots of the animals. Loved seeing the ostriches up close (they came to inspect our vehicle). I've never seen such active tortises. Feeding the giraffe was a highlight. Our tour guides, Merry and Lauren, were great. The actual truck safari tour was too long, slow, and boring for my 1 year old, who screamed most of the time. I wish we had been able to bail out for him. My 3 year old enjoyed it. Given the price point, I would probably wait to come back until my kids are closer to elementary school age.

We had a blast on the guided safari tour! I was amazed how all of this was hidden in such a neat, small town that isn’t far from us. It’s very easy to access, and all of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were impressed by our tour guide Mary; she was entertaining and we learned so much. The website says an hour 15, but they went more like an hour and a half so that we got to see all the animals. There are plenty of different animals, and they are expanding. Restrooms were clean, and we had our 2 year old son with us, so we appreciated the children’s games in the area while you wait and the gift shop. The only bummer was that we only saw a giraffe from far away because they are skittish animals, but we had a close encounter with an ostrich! Afterwards, it was easy to go to Downtown Madison for food, shopping, and a nice walkable town.

Awesome tour!

My family and I took my nephew on the guided safari tour, and within minutes it felt less like a tour and more like we had stumbled into our own little adventure. Jamie was our guide and absolutely nailed it. She has that rare talent of making you feel like you are just along for a fun ride while somehow sneaking in a ton of genuinely interesting information. You can tell she loves what she does, and it makes a big difference. Bella was our driver and kept us rolling smoothly through the whole experience, but also delivered the best zebra joke of the day. Sorry Jamie, but Bella’s joke takes the crown. Seeing the animals up close was one of those “this is way cooler than I expected” moments, and it just kept happening over and over. Every turn brought something new to look at, laugh about, or learn from. My whole family was into it from start to finish, which is not always an easy win. My two favorite animals are Frank and Kevin. No debate. A couple of completely reasonable ideas to enhance the experience: A dog dressed as a rhino running around up front. No explanation needed. Hire me to wear a rhino costume. I am ready to commit to the bit at a professional level. We left still talking about our favorite parts and laughing about the jokes, which is usually the sign of a great time. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something fun, different, and memorable.

Wonderful and eductional experience. Our guide, Jamie, was incredibly knowledgable about the animals. She shared her love of the particular animals at the safari park with enthusiasm. We learned so much!

We had a barn tour today and stayed in one of the tents! My children absolutely raved about the experience, my wife loved the amenities, and the tour guides were beyond welcoming!

We had the best time visiting Georgia Safari Conservation Park on a field trip. The facilities are clean and well thought out. Employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I will definitely return and look forward to watching it grow!

We came here for my nieces Birthday and it didnt dissapoint! Staff were all amazing! It was great to see so much space for the animals to graze and roam. I would highly recommend it! It was beautiful! Everyone we met that worked there was super knowledgeable and super nice! Bathrooms were really clean and nice!

We just checked out of the Georgia Safari Conservation Park and it was truly a dream! We made the 7-hour drive from Kentucky for my son’s birthday and it was 1000% worth it. Our tour guides, Jamie and Ray, were absolutely incredible — kind, knowledgeable, patient, and it was so obvious how much they genuinely love their jobs and the animals. Their passion made the entire experience even more special. We brought our 4- and 7-year-old, and they loved every minute of the safari and barn tour — especially getting to feed the giraffes! The animals look extremely well cared for and have so much open land to roam. I also really appreciate that this is a no-touch facility — even guests and guides aren’t allowed to pet the animals, which shows how much they prioritize the animals’ wellbeing. We stayed one night in a tent, and it was beyond luxurious. The tents are beautiful and thoughtfully designed — not a single detail was missed. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! At sunset and sunrise, so many animals wandered by. It was peaceful, breathtaking, and something we’ll never forget. We walked to the campfire that night and made s’mores, which was the perfect ending to an already magical day. The security is top notch and we felt very safe. They even have security come light the fire pit and turn it off once guest are done using it. This place is truly a hidden gem. We will absolutely be back — hopefully very soon!

The barn tour was awesome! Up close to the giraffes (which we got to feed lots of lettuce) and the 2 rhinos. Lauren, our guide, was very knowledgeable. Because of the size of our group, Lauren took the 4 of us and gave us very personalized attention.

We love this place as a family and go once or twice a year. The animals are so chill and fun to feed from the car.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Georgia Safari Conservation Park. I had to contact them a few days before to reschedule our trip and they responded very timely and no hustle at all with my request for a date change. Thank you GSC! The staff were very nice and friendly. Lauren our guide was very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. Our teenage kids are already asking when we can go back.

Took the Premier tour and it was amazing!!! My boys especially loved meeting Fable the Fennec Fox and Mochi the Sloth. You can tell that all the animals are extremely well taken care of, all of their enclosures are very clean and the staff (Jamie & Tyler were our guides) were great with my 5 & 8 year old sons. Oh! And we came home with an ostrich egg (hollowed out and cleaned) as a souvenir! Really an amazing place. We hope to return to stay in one of the tents!

Took my two granddaughters yesterday to celebrate their Birthdays They are 11 days apart and both are 8 this year. We had the best time . Amazing from the time we drove in until we drove out. Staff were so knowledgeable about all of the animals.

Jamie and Tyler were excellent ambassadors for your establishment. The barn tour we had was a great experience for our whole family. They were both very knowledgeable and truly passionate about the animals. The property is amazing. Upon arrival we first stopped at the outpost, not knowing exactly where to go. The lady and gentlemen in there were very accommodating and gave us directions, noting our party name to alert them of our arrival. The only item I might have a suggestion for, which is not a negative, would be a few additional signs directing through the property. Being respectful, we took it slow to make sure we stayed the correct course. Thank you for the experience we look forward to your successes and continued growth. See you again soon!

We stayed overnight in the giraffe suite, and it was worth every penny! On the first day, we were went on a tour of the giraffe and rhinoceros barn. We fed the giraffes by hand! At night, we could observe the giraffes directly from the living room and bedroom of the suite. It was magical. The suite itself is very luxurious. The bed is super comfortable, and the bathroom is a 4 star experience. The second day, we went on a premiere safari tour. We saw so many animals up close. Our favorites were the fennec fox, sugar gliders, chinchillas, and Cornelius the ostrich who came right up to the tour truck. Our tour guides were all fantastic: Rae, Tyler, Sabrina, and Kaitlyn.
