We’ve lived in Alton for a few years and finally decided to try this place and we are so glad we did. Delilah was our waitress and she was amazing. Food was delicious. I recommend the firecracker shrimp and crab stew. Absolutely delicious. Lots of seating and separate dining area from bar. Menu had a mix of entrees and more casual food. Overall great experience! Can’t wait to go back!

Was in the area needed some lunch! Took a look around on the internet and came across Bluff Grill Pub. Read the reviews and took a chance, no disappointments what so ever got there when they first opened and was greeted by the hostess and was well taken care of by the bartender who was our waitress! Place filled up fast with the lunch rush. Food was fantastic and came out of the kitchen quickly!

Ive updated my review to all 5 stars. Ive been here a few more times and everytime has been great. The crab stew is still the best thing Ive ever tasted. Get the crab stew. It's similar to a bisque but the best seafood bowl of stew or bisque I've ever had in my life. So rich, briney and delicious.

We came in to town to check out the oddities museum and wanted lunch before we went. We sat st the bar, the manager came up as soon as we sat down and told us the specials for lunch and drinks. We ordered the fried banana peppers, AMAZING, the lunch special was a beef sandwich with au jus. It was very flavorful and good portions, the house made chips were great! We also got a club sandwich which was HUGE and so good!!! The sangria was the drink special and it was good. The service was AMAZING they were busy but we still felt like we got personal service. 100% would go again.

Food has always been great. I’m a big fan of the 3 little pigs and love the homemade chips. Fried mushrooms, wings, crabcakes are all good. I had the hamburger last time. It was delicious! I also like a Bluff City Brown sometimes (Old Bakery Beer co.)

Delilah makes a mean espresso martini. Such a cool girl. Matt's cool too.

It was a great experience. The server did a great job and the other servers and managers all worked together no matter what.

First off the staff are fantastic! Secondly the food was amazing. Awesome spot for a meal.
