Dr ash was very kind and compassionate. On arrival, he explained the process to us and did his best to put us at ease. He also introduced himself to our dog Dyson and got him to relax as well. Although it’s never an easy thing to go through, all things considered, the process went as smoothly as we could have hoped. I would recommend his service.

On Sunday, February, 22, 2026, we found ourselves in the position of having to euthanize our precious german shepherd, Harley. It was not preplanned, as we didn’t expect her to deteriorate so quickly. We tried numerous at home services, however they required advance warning as it was the weekend. Fortunately we were given your contact info. The Vet, Dr. Ash Bekhiy, who came within hours of our call, was wonderful. He was extremely professional. Every step of the way was explained prior to the start. He was unhurried, and gentle. He allowed things to happen at our pace . He did a quick assessment, then left us alone for final goodbyes. 1st he administered a sedative to relax her via a needle in her right hind end. My husband and I blocked her view and distracted her. The vet was able to inject her sedative without her seeing him. It started to relax her very quickly. Her fast heartbeat and respiratory rate slowed, she was no longer panting. By 10 minutes, she was sedated well enough to proceed. He then inserted a small IV/saline lok. He allowed me to assist with little things… holding a flashlight for light, holding her paw while he did the insertion. He asked if we wanted some of the fur…we kept it. He told us we could take our. time. We didn’t wait long. Our family circled around her with my husband and I stroking her and just talking to her. The medicine worked very quickly. I felt her heart rate and her breathing slow down. About 15 seconds or so, I could not feel anything. He rechecked using a stethoscope after a minute or two and Harley was gone. We completed paperwork, arranged a cremation, chose an urn and paw prints. We wrapped her in a blanket with her self soothing pillow, we laughing referred to as her suck a moo. Thank you Dr. Ash

I have used Dr Ash’s service twice now. BEST decision to use this company. Dr Ash was kind and soft spoken. He did not scare our cat at all. He explained the entire procedure so we understood what our pet would feel. Our cat was able to die held in the arms of his favourite family member, surrounded by family, in a place he loved, our livingroom. Dr Ash’s waited patiently and didn’t rush us. My daughter needed 1/2 hour to cradle the body of our beloved family pet and Dr Ash didn’t rush us. When we were ready Dr Ash placed our cat’s body tenderly in a blue cloth bag that had his name written on it. His ashes were returned the same week in a small cedar box with his name on it. The entire experience of using this home euthanize vet was respectful and dignified. I’d highly recommend this service. It’s never easy to let go but I’m glad I could get my pet this comforting ending. Highly recommend.

It's been 2 weeks since I lost my sweet soul cat Lucy. He was so quick to respond when I emailed and was able to accommodate a same day appointment. This was such a relief for me because the idea of having to wait until the next day knowing what was coming would have killed me. When he arrived at my apartment he came right over and introduced himself to Lucy and explained the process to me. He was so professional and respectful during the whole appointment. He was in the room but still made me feel like I had privacy for my last moments with Lucy. I was able to say a peaceful goodbye to my beautiful companion of 13 years, who had just been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that was bleeding (a sarcoma under his nail). After careful consideration, I decided against amputation and aggressive treatments. The veterinarian arrived within 20 minutes of my call. Dr. Ash also offered other appointment times, but both my cat and I were ready for an immediate visit. Dr. Ash was incredibly gentle, professional, and compassionate throughout the entire process. He made my final goodbye and my cat’s last moments as calm and peaceful as possible. I am very grateful for his care and would highly recommend this service. One thing to consider is that arranging communal cremation independently may be more cost-effective for those on a tight budget (it will be approximately 88% cheaper that way). I chose their cremation service because I didn’t feel able to remain with my cat after he passed, and I appreciated having everything handled with care.

There is no way this an easy decision. However Dr. Ash was extremely good at explaining the process and what to expect. Dr. Ash came to us in 45 minutes and conducted a highly qualified examination and euthanasia procedure, He was very kind and attentive to our cat Musia and to the pain of our family. I am very grateful to Dr. Ash for his kind heart and attention to our beloved cat Musia and us. It hurts us a lot and we cry, but we understand that euthanasia was the right decision. Our beloved cat Musia is bigger do not suffer and sleep on a soft rainbow.

It was the hardest decision we have ever had to make. There was no way he could have survived another trip to the vet, so we chose to have euthanasia at home. Our Nala battled lymphoma for just over a year, we couldn’t do another round of chemo so unfortunately she declined. One day she wasn’t able to get up she just laid there, we contacted Dr Ash and we first scheduled the appointment for the following day, but we saw her rapidly declining and Dr Ash was so nice to come over that night. He was professional and sympathetic. I would definitely recommend his services, it’s so much more comforting to say goodbye at your own home instead of taking your pet to a vet where they can become anxious and plus having to move them when they are in pain and can’t move. I’m relieved we had this option. After they take your loved one and we got her cremations 7 days later. Dr Ash did a great job in a very difficult and tragic time in our life.

My poor 13 yrs.old Australian Shepherd after our last walk which he seems fine, at 4 am he suddenly have an uncontrolled seizure for over 3 hrs. We were panicking. We called Dr. Ash, he response very quickly, and came within couple of hours at dawn. my poor baby stopped breathing just before Dr. Ash arrived. He was very kind, explained to us that any seizure more than 3 min. would have cause brain damage. He carefully checked his heart to make sure that my baby was gone. He gave us time to say goodbye and let us cut some of his hairs for keepsake, never rush us. (My poor baby was diagnosed of Tumor and nodules in his Liver about 16 months ago, I know that this day will come, but it just came so suddenly) I have my baby home today, the Urn was put in a beautiful blue velvet bag, his reminder of his ash which we wanted to spread over the sunny hillside was also packed neatly in double velvet blue bags with paw print in an elegant box. He was such a good boy, I was heartbroken losing my best friend, my beloved baby. He will always be remember and missed, but I pray God will take good care of him for me.

I had actually reached out on New Year’s Day to schedule my dog to be put down and Dr. Ash was great at communicating even on the holiday so I was very thankful for all the help. Unfortunately she passed before the appointment and Dr. Ash was able to pick her up the same day. He also delivered her ashes a week after so it was very quick to get her back. The service has been amazing and communication was also amazing. It’s heartbreaking to go through losing a beloved pet, so knowing that this part was easy and quick made me feel relieved.

Today, Dec. 10/24 was a very sad day for me. My beautiful golden Lab of 13 yrs. was ready to cross the "Rainbow Bridge" I searched the internet for Home Euthanasia because I was unable to get my girl to the Vet. I called a few places and chose Dr. Ash. He came on time, was very caring and did his job well. He explained how the procedure works and didn't rush us, asked if I was ready and then continued. My Sheba died peaceful without any pain or stress. I highly recommend Dr. Ash.....thank you for your service and making it easier for me to say good bye to my beloved pet.

We lost our beloved Norwich Terrier on November 24,2024. Kira had a collapsed trachea for several years until her condition became critical. Dr.Ash was exceptionally kind and gentle not only towards Kira but us as well. Kira was a homebody and we appreciated that she passed peacefully without fear and with dignity in a familiar place surrounded by family. I also want to add that the aftercare provided in terms of paperwork was thoroughly professional.

The best farewell we could have asked for. Our little buddy crossed that magical bridge in the most peaceful and loving way possible. Thank you.

My husband Tom and I had to say the hardest goodbye to our 5 year old Rottweiler Senga. We were terrified of the unknown, but certain we didn't want her to pass at a cold, impersonal vet clinic. He was so loving and kind towards her, gentle in his care, and he made her passing so peaceful and lovely, on our porch on her own blankets, covered with white roses. I feel that because of his tenderness and understanding, I may be able to help someone through their grief of losing their beloved pet, assuring them that the end of life process never needs to be scary. We are so grateful for his care, thankful that he came into our lives, even if only for one short moment.

Putting down your pet is a horrible experience. Having Dr Ash come to our home, and be flexible and compassionate was a silver lining in our grey sky. He was even able to put our cat to sleep outside, so her last memories were comfortable and happy. He showed real compassion, and truly cared for the comfort of our cat as she passed. Dr Ash was wonderful- very caring and compassionate. He took the time with our beloved cockpit Ben to review his health. (Ben had Lymphoma)Allowed time to get our final goodbyes in - no rushing at any time. He explained the process and made certain that we understood everything. After making the dreaded decision to put our senior dog down, and it being a very quick decline where we had to act fast, we were fortunate to find Dr Ash who was able to come the same day. I am very glad that the stars aligned and we were able to go through this difficult moment of our lives with Dr.Ash from Toronto in Home Pet Euthanasia. Our cat was truly family to us, and her becoming ill was difficult for the household. When her quality of life was deteriorating and it was time to start looking at euthanasia, it was very difficult for us to “pull the trigger”. Our biggest issue was the fact that she hated the vet, and we didn’t want her last moments to be in a place she hated and would be scared.
