Mike produced an excellent Heritage Impact Assessment for us, in spite of the constraints he faced getting information due to the covid pandemic. He kept us up to date throughout and the finished report was very thorough covering everything we needed for our planning application. We were refused planning permission by Cheshire East Council so appealed to the Planning Inspectorate against the decision and enlisted MPD to fight the case on our behalf. We found them to be extremely knowledgeable and professional as well as personable. They were able to explain things to us as the appeal progressed, whilst putting it in planning speak to the inspector. The end result was a successful outcome and positive experience.

We instructed Mike Davies to prepare, submit and negotiate a pre planning application in respect of a potential building plot in our garden which was successful.Following that he made an outline planning application for the erection of a new detached house which, following his negotiations with the planning officer and despite several objections, was approved with no onerous conditions. The service provided to us was excellent, we recommend MPD services wholeheartedly.

We engaged the services of MPD to assist us with a retrospective application for listed building consent regarding 'unauthorised alterations to a Grade 2 Listed Building'.Our case was a complicated matter and we encountered a number of challenges along the way. We received a first-class professional service from Mike Davies who showed a great knowledge of planning and listed building legislation and delivered an extremely professional application on our behalf. However, our application was refused by the Local Council and Mike immediately set about putting to together an Appeal to 'The Planning Inspectorate'. The Inspectorate overturned the Council's decision and we were both extremely pleased and relieved with the eventual successful result. We found Mike easy to work with and would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone, especially if you are encountering planning difficulties
