Scott is truly awesome! My pump went out and reached out for a service appointment to possibly replace the pump (after one company told me it needed to be replaced). Scott called me and took the time to talk me through a couple trouble shooting ideas / tips. After one of Scotts suggestions my pump started right up! Almost spent quite a bit of money replacing the pump when it was a simple fix. Scott didn't have to help me (random person calling) and could have charged me for a service call to come out instead. Thank you Scott!

I am not type of person to write review due to lack of patience and skill, though I wanted for good service. I couldn't prime my pool after motor run on low water and found Scott Smith online. Glad I found him. I had someone came by gave quote which surprised me but thought it is expected. Scott suggested options, repair or replacement with new VSF for long term power savings. He was patient in explaining the options, not pushy and even suggested check alternative places which turned out to be less expensive if I have chosen to replace the pump set. Decided go with him due to integrity and expertise. Today he did the repair and happy with the result; and only replaced the parts which really need to be. His charges are reasonable.

Pool Motor Supply (Scott Smith) has done consistently outstanding equipment diagnostic, repair, replacement and related installation/electrical work for us for years and has once again delivered excellent service today by replacing our timer box dial on a Sunday morning. Scott is very knowledgeable in the pool equipment arena, has always recommended and installed the best and most appropriate equipment for us at the best price and has been 100% reliable over the years with an ongoing emphasis on professionalism and integrity. His pricing is very competitive and is so easy to understand that I don't recall ever having to question one of his invoices. So next time a pool equipment problem arises instead of calling a big box store or another independent services provider give Scott a shot at your business. You won't be disappointed and will likely become an ongoing Pool Motor Supply customer. Yes, Scott's really that good!!!

If you read nothing past this first sentence please know this company deserves the highest of high ratings!!! Our pool filter motor went out and I had a very hard time finding pool companies with enough expertise to help understand what exact model to replace it with. Two different branches of a major company in the area didn't have subject matter experts near by. A couple other pool companies didn't answer the phone or be of much help including our own. Nationwide online companies were of little help. I found this Pool Pump Experts and spoke to Scott. He doesn't serve our Grapevine area so he was going to make $0 but spent time to help us understand not only what motor to get but also the seals for the shaft etc. it was tremendous help. A few days later when I finally got someone to inspect our system for the install, they wouldn't install 3rd party motors or parts for various reasons. I can respect that. But when a $400 expense for a motor replacement was turning into a conversation about replacing our Jandy handheld control system with one that can be used on a device through an app for more like $4,700, I felt completely vulnerable as to what prices were in the proper range or what was really necessary. I called Scott back asking for advice. He didn't answer. I figured well he doesn't need to call me back being out of his area. He called back in 5 minutes on his way to his next job. He explained everything in crystal clear terms anyone could understand. It provided incredible peace of mind and allowed us to make a decision either way. Again he absolutely did not need to help us. Just imagine if you are a paying customer how well he will take care of you. On a scale of 1-5, he gets an off the scale 5+++. Very few companies work like this these days.

My elderly parents pool pump motor went out and they got a quote from another company. This company only wanted to sell them a 4000$ vsf pump. Luckily I found Scott's company and he got me a quote lightning fast and fit the repair in so much sooner than I even imagined. He got the pool up and running in an hour. He saved my parents a ton of money, me a ton of aggravation and gave great advice for getting the pool funk cleaned up. I will never call anyone else! Thank you so much for your amazing service.

When my main pool pump failed, Scott from Pump Motor Supply was responsive and knowledgeable, troubleshooting the problem and replacing the motor the same day. Several months later, when that motor had an intermittent problem, Scott was just as professional and responsive in providing warranty service. I am very impressed with Pump Motor Supply and would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to a friend.

This is a real review (not a promo and not an ad) written by a real homeowner (me), and honestly, I only write a review when a business or service exceeds my expectations, which doesn't happen frequently. However, Scott at Pool Motor Supply saved the day when our pool pump died in the Texas heat. He responded to my voicemail quickly, asked me to text some photos of the pump so he knew brand, model etc., and within a few hours, arrived at our home (on time and on a weekend!) and was able to repair, not replace, the pump within about 30 minutes for an extremely reasonable price. Pool Motor Supply has now become our new go-to pool company because of Scott's responsiveness, expertise, professionalism and fair pricing.

I placed a call and Scott personally returned it within about 15 minutes. I described the problem with my pool pump motor (motor humming loudly when attempting to start) and sent pictures. He told me the year the motor was built and suggested I try replacing the 1 year old capacitor. Since I knew how to do that, I replaced it and the pump took off running again. I will definitely call him next time I need work done on the pump or motor. Excellent service!

I don't have a weekly service as I do that myself, so when my pump stopped working I was scrambling. Scott was awesome, he fit me in quickly came out and fixed my pump with ease. Scott is now my goto guy! Great professionalism, punctual and all around great experience.

He walked me through over the phone what to do, step by step with some photos and messages back and forth and we were able to get the pump back up and running.
