So, think Arugula, Carrot, Beet, Chard--photos below. I use SDSC for all of these, which are currently in my winter/spring garden. I had to also dip back in this year and get Fava (photo below) from them, to replenish what I had failed to carry over. What is worth noting is Garlic, which I tried for the first time this year, based on their recommendation that came through the Garlic email blast they sent prior to last Fall. I bought 2 types to try as a novice: Sicilian and Inchelium Red. I bought a pack of each, which came as 2 large heads per pack. They are organic (which much of their seed product is, the only stuff I will grow with), and disease-free heads. I planted 34 total cloves, and my success rate was 34 grew--100%! Photos below. Now waiting for harvest that is coming in a few months.
I LOVE small business and I support it, folks like SDSC. Buy their seeds--they have a cool commitment to organic stuff, and they respond to questions, making them great to work with. Keep up the great work, everyone.
