I ordered a cheesecake for my wife for her birthday. The place was closed when I arrived to pick it up. Nobody let me know the place was temporarily closed. I was still charged for the cheesecake I did not receive. No response from the owners. No refund yet!!!

Amazing pastry! We loved this bakery. We stopped on our way and did not have high expectations. We took some pastry to go and it was amazing! We tried the traditional donut and brioche and seriously - so good! Highly recommend this bakery!

Not what it used to be. Maybe my memory betrays me, but this old-fashioned donut is way sweeter and greasier than a few years ago. It’s contrary to Mah-Ze-Dahr’s philosophy of “not too sweet”. I stopped coming here because they never had the old-fashioned donuts whenever I visited—the brioche donuts are not a substitute. I was ecstatic to see it in the display case as it has been years since I had it, but it’s just not the same. Still pretty good though.

Stumbled into this bakery on a rainy nyc Saturday. The line was long but we got through it quickly. There is additional seating in the hallway in the back. The owner is so friendly and you can tell they really care about customer experience. We will be back again and again for years to come!

Very crowded little place, so our stuff was to go. The Brooklyn forest cake was great. The cheesecake was bland. The olive oil cake was the surprise winner, we just wanted more.

Almond croissant was great!

I wanted to purchase some orange juice today and there were none in the fridge. The young lady was so kind and asked if she can assist me with anything. I responded no thank you as it look like you are out of orange juice. She asked if I would be willing to wait while she looked in the back. She returned so quickly with a big smile on her face and the orange juice. Very pleasant experience!

If this place had ceramic plates and coffee cups instead of cheap plastic and paper it would be unbeatable. Food and coffee are great, as well as the spots to sit. Fast-food type plastic and paper service kills the mood.

The brownie....just get it. It is decadent but not overly sweet and a great texture that leans on the more soft than chewy side. I am a person who has tried a vast array of desserts and I still crave the brownies from here when I am not in ny. The cookies are also among my top 5 in NYC.

The most delicious treats (for home or office - we love them for corporate events) and the loveliest team! I cannot say enough great things about them (or their ginger cookie!).

There’s no bathroom. Why is there no bathroom? What kind of cafe doesn’t have a bathroom for its patrons? I ordered a flat white which was pretty good but the icing on the black and white cake was thick and stale, cake inside was okay but not worth the price. I wanted to like them but COME ON YOU NEED A BATHROOM!

Paying 30$+ for 2 teas and 2 cakes and not even being able to go to the bathroom (which they have but not open to customers. Go to Claude Bakery 2 min walk from this shop. You can eat equally good cakes, equally (or less priced), enjoy a more comfortable seating and have access to a bathroom.

Friendly service and good pastries. There are a couple of seats in this location. Tried their cranberry scone which was just ok. I'd recommend their other pastries like their brioche doughnuts or pain au chocolat. I tried their Brooklyn Forest cake. The cake itself was very good and moist. I liked the cherry filling. The mascarpone frosting was terrible though, very solid and the flavor wasn't good.

Everything I’ve had here is amazing. My family is obsessed with their granola and dog treats too!

My sister and cousin joined me here. It was a recommendation that brought us here. We placed orders for quiche chocolate cake cheddar scones cheesecake and vanilla coffee. They were completely broke. It wasnt with the dry scone. However the cake and the other things we ordered were fantastic. Since the quiche looked so good we returned after eating everything else. My favorite dish was the quiche. The chocolate cake was so delicious that my sister and cousin said it was the best they had ever had. Im coming back for more!

This is a fantastic bakery. I do not live in NYC but have visited this bakery while in NYC. Last year a friend there sent me the Advent Calendar and it was so beautiful and original I ordered it some for friends. I have also had some of those other items while in NYC and they are some of the best pasteries I have ever tasted. If you’re in NYC go and enjoy this beautiful bakery.

I had the privilege of stopping in every day after dropping my granddaughter off at preschool. Yes, I had to walk an extra mile or two to burn it off but one pastry was better than the next. Love the French bistro atmosphere. Cannot imagine getting pastries like this anywhere but in Paris. Definitely a must try if you’re in Greenwich Village.

I heard from the grapevine that mah ze dahr has the best chocolate cake in New York so I decided to be spontaneous and order their chocolate cake which is named “devil in ganache”. I ordered it as a 2nd wedding cake that I would keep in my fridge for me and my husband only. I drove an hour as I live in Westchester and the cake held up perfectly in my air conditioned car. When I got home I realized the cake was hard to the touch because it was cold so this type of cake is obviously meant to be eaten at room temperature. I know this because my family owns a bakery in The Bronx and many people make the mistake of trying to eat a cake when its really cold. Anyway I called mah ze dahr just to confirm and she told me yes its best eaten at room temperature. We left the cake out all morning and decided to slice it at night and my oh my… this cake has changed my life. Its the BEST chocolate cake ive ever had in my ENTIRE life… I cant even explain the feeling I get every time I eat a piece of it. I literally close my eyes and it sends me into another universe and I feel the endorphins running through my body 😂 The sponge cake itself is a texture ive never even tried before. Its a cross between a sponge cake and a brownie but without it feeling so heavy. The cream inside and outside is a ganache that is silky smooth and just heaven. Pure heaven. The cake in its entirety is also not overly sweet which I can appreciate because a chocolate cake is usually too intense but this cake is just perfect. A 10/10, I will never eat a chocolate cake from anywhere else. Mah Ze Dahr , hats off to you! Best chocolate cake EVER!

Their hospitality is unmatched! We placed an order for coffee and dessert and there was some confusion regarding the coffee order and they didn’t ring us up for it. And when we asked, they just gave it to us on the house despite us offering to pay! After paying for our order, we decided to buy their famous donut.. which they also gave on the house. This kind of service and hospitality are rare and create a strong sense of customer loyalty. Their taste is as hyped but 20/10 marks for warmth and hospitality

Loved the olive oil cake! Tasted rich and not too sweet. The place is beautiful and staff are incredibly kind.

They give out dog treats and have a chic atmosphere. That said, I enjoyed the moment when my pastry fell on the ground because that means I don’t need to take another bite of not fluffy nor flakey nor crispy dead calories.

I stopped in here after having a really annoying morning and I'm glad I did. I got one of my favorite cookies in nyc (I think its called the blackout cookie? Chocolate with powdered sugar on the outside) and the monkey bread. Both were amazing. Much needed on a rough day.

Everything looks beautiful but is often disappointing. The dark chocolate brownie and chocolate bomb cookie were ok, not great. Sadly, the one thing that was amazing was the old fashioned donut, which was the best donut I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, it’s a “seasonal” item, so there’s no reason to go back.

Came here to try their famous cinnamon roll. It is a small lovely coffee, had latte and it was good. The cinnamon roll however was absolutely bad, very dry like it was leftover from yesterday. I’m not sure if this is how they make it or it was a fluke.

It was so easy to find ! A 5 minute walk from the F Train 4th st Stop. I was interested in employment and decided to grab some items to go. I love the Dark Blue with Gold accents on the inside. Its decor is clean and bright and there is such a warm welcoming vibe as soon as you're welcomed by the two gentle toned Barista's. Very spectrum friendly ambiance as the colors do not shout at you inside and the seating is so comfortable, if you have children on the spectrum I highly recommend bringing them to this well thought out dining area. Now, for the two items I tried! The 'Mocha Almond Croissant' was dense, moist, buttery, rich in flavor and so crispy on the outside; with the perfect amount of almond slivers.The $7.50 croissant is massive and can definitely feed two, or be eaten by one person throughout two occasions. I would be so proud of helping bake these! The 'Chocolate Explosion Cookie' is RICH in cocoa! I was surprised this cookie is on their line up, crinkle or pfeffernuse style cookies are like a German holidays kind of milled sugar coated cookie, I HAD TO GET IT! Bravo 👏 Please hire me.

Came for the chocolate cake, got one slice of the original plus a match latte. Server at counter was super sweet. No complaints whatsoever. The cake itself though was disappointing. Overly dense to the point of being hard, maybe cuz it was taken from the refrigerated case. Chocolate flavor was also not great, it was a bit too sweet and just... Kind of cheap tasting? I hate to put it that way because for what they charge I have to assume they don't need to skimp on ingredients, but something about the flavor genuinely reminds me of chocolate cake opened out of plastic wrap bought from a deli or gas station. Matcha latte was fine, kinda mild tasting, mostly milk, very little matcha flavor. I would have rated 3 stars for food, but for the price (cake and drink came to almost $16) they should do better.

0 stars if I could. After going back and forth with the barista about the price disparities, I asked to speak to the manager and they stated that the prices are out of their control and that their manager wasn't present, that he would be in the next day while doing nothing to satisfy my concern.

A very cute Cafe’ with Pastries, Croissants, Cakes and so much more. Very homely and nice ambience and a very kind and responsive staff. We tried Iced Mocha, Latte’, Coffee Cake and more… The coffee cake was really nice, very subtle level of sweetness and flavor. The Mocha was very good as well. If You’re walking about in the area, this is a GREAT place to stop by, grab some coffee and cake, chill.. Definitely recommend a good place to wind down and enjoy something sweet…

Picked up some baked goods and drinks that were sooo good! The blue matcha lemonade is delightful as is the brioche doughnut, croissants and other teas. We also were visited by the sweetest little shop pup Toro, she was a great companion.

My friend recommended Mah-Ze-Dahr for our wedding cake, and it was absolutely awe-inspiring! Marley is my personal hero. She took my inspiration photos from Pinterest and collaborated with the chefs to create the cake of our dreams. They considered every detail to ensure our cake survived a five-hour commute and overnight storage before being served on our wedding day. Thank you, MZD team!

This has always been my favorite bakery. However, they closed at 2 PM during pride and made derogatory slurs to me and my friends when we asked if we could have a table. I've never experienced descrimination for being gay but here we go. Updated: The comment from the owner isn't helpful. I'd prefer to leave reference of my 'perception' to the NYS Division of Human Rights with whom I've filled a detailed complaint.

Best croissant I’ve had in the city!

stopped by Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery a few weeks ago for coffee, but ended grabbing a couple cookies as a snack. the bakery has a clean modern interior with a decent amount of seating and there are outdoor tables during good weather. there’s a lot of baked items to choose from at Mah-Ze-Dahr from sweet options and savory ones. i kinda regret not getting a savory item like the egg biscuit sando but happy that i grabbed the chocolate chip cookie as it crispy on the outside with a soft chewy inside. the chunks of chocolate meld with the baked cookie parts for soft dense sweet cookie bites that are nicely balanced so the cookies isn’t cloying. the chocolate explosion cookie imo was a huge miss. it’s a soft cookie that sounds like it would be great but there was no chocolate richness or depth. tbh, it just gave off a very basic chocolate smell and taste. kinda a letdown. also it was covered in confectioners sugar or something equivalent which made it unnecessarily messy as the powder just gets all over the place bc it doesn’t really stick to the cookie—a nice decorative element to the cookie…but i wish the cookie taste was more memorable. the service was quick and nice. overall, a worthwhile bakery to visit if you’re in the area.

They all say good morning with a smile, they all remember your coffee, they are super dog friendly and they prepare their pastries and dog treats in house. Just grateful to have a place like this in your neighborhood.

Every time I go to this location the employees have great energy & recommend others treats if you’re interested in that & not just the coffee . I usually go for the chocolate cake which is fantastic but last time I tried the vegan chocolate cake version & it was sooo much better OMG

I got very excited when I walked inside Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery at 28 Greenwich Avenue in the West Village. They have three locations but this was my first opportunity to visit and I instantly fell in love with their desserts as well as their staff. Their coffee was also superb!

$1.50 per shot of flavor is a little insane — the latte is not even that hot? It’s lukewarm. The atmosphere, the employees, and the baked goods are good. Just incredibly overpriced for the quality. There’s nothing super special or amazing about the food.

I got a large cold brew and it was ok. The place looked cute. I wasn't so thrilled about the service. First, I was clearly next in line and the male server ignored me and asked the person after me for his order. When I told him my order, he asked me if I wanted milk. But when I got the order, he didn't put milk in it. I had to go back for any of the 2 servers at the counter to add the milk and they didn't seem ok to do that - even if I mentioned it in my original order. I don't know if they were a new crew but for $7 coffee, I wasn't so happy with the service. I was there around noon yesterday 5/26/24.

Ugh… picked up a brioche donut today after preordering. Upon returning home I realized the cream filling had gone sour and had gone bad. Had to toss out the whole thing after one bite. Also the donut looks nothing like what I had been enjoying over the years. It has way more sugar sprinkled and the donut looked dry and darker. Honestly feels like your gas station donut now. Don’t think I’ll be returning anymore and I’m quite bummed out i’m out of $7 for a donut that had gone bad.

An absolute gem! We were waiting for our dinner reservation around that area and wanted to grab a quick coffee! The mocha almond croissant (I couldn’t resist it though we had a nice dinner planned for in an hour) was delicious! And the coffee was great too. The staff were super friendly and attentive to everyone walking in. Can’t wait to go back to try their brioche donut!

This is my favorite favorite FAVORITE coffee and pastry shop in Manhattan! Everything is incredible, the staff are the nicest, and they have a resident Frenchie named Toro who greets everyone in the neighborhood.

Sat outside and enjoyed pan au choclat. It was delicious. Buttery and flaky. Cherry lime fruit spritzer did not disappoint. Service was wonderful.

We wanted to share 2 slices of cake and ordered at 7:25pm. The 2 employees at the counter told us “seating was closed” although the store closes at 8pm and there were 2 people already sitting down at a table. We nicely asked if we could quickly eat and be gone way before 8pm and they refused so we just walked out because we did not want to eat our dessert standing out on the street.

I had their turkey, gouda and spinach and artichoke croissant. Excellent, excellent, excellent. One of the best I have had. The service was efficient and kind and the place was clean and inviting. Definitely recommend

I go to the location in Hudson Eats regularly. Excellent quiche, and the best coffee and chocolate croissants. Terrific service, especially from Brendon.

Bought a fresh cinnamon roll 3 weeks ago, it was great. Then I bought one again today and they clearly gave me a day old one. At $10 per roll this is not acceptable. It was so dry that it went straight to the garbage

I’m a dog trainer who travels from neighborhood to neighborhood in NYC, dog sitting and training in-home, and this is by FAR my favorite community coffee shop. The staff are always attentive and friendly, and the owners make you feel as welcome as you might feel in a small town. Their French bulldog welcomes canine and human guests warmly, when the weather is nice and she feels like running the shop. Oh, and the coffee and pastries are heads above the rest. I drool thinking of them.

Their sign out front says it all - buttery and flaky. These croissants were certainly flaky and perhaps the most buttery I’ve had - just so good, and what a croissant should be.

Mocha almond croissant - sounds like a great way to mask the inability to make good frangipane. The croissant was hard, semi burnt, super sweet mess. Their tip options start at 25%. Why so greedy ? Aux merveilleux de fred has infinitely better croissants for $3.90 Do better!!

amazing pastries, tasted very fresh. we got the brioche donut, mocha almond croissant, and monkey bread croissant. the brioche donut is a must; it was filled with cream, extremely fluffy, and not too sweet. the mocha almond croissant was heavenly. it was perfectly layered, decadent, and well-textured. not the biggest fan of the monkey bread croissant but great for someone who wants to experience a new twist on monkey bread. overall really great and will def be coming back for the brioche donut!

I placed an online pick-up order today at 5:45pm for a slice of their Devil in Ganache (as shown available at this location), and received my confirmation email that it was ready for pick up at 6:00pm. I arrive at the bakery only to be told that they were all sold out. Their staff who was an older man stated he attempted to contact me but there was no missed call or voicemail left. I checked my inbox for a cancellation email on my order and there was none (Order # TM10331729). Called the store multiple times and no one was picking up (they close at 8pm). Now I’m left cake-less on Valentine’s Day and money gone, without a way for a refund.

I went around closing time on Sunday evening and ordered two slices of coconut cake. It was the worst dry cake I’ve ever had. They shouldn’t even sell those. It was nowhere near fresh. They should do quality control and not let customers eat that. It tasted like 4-5 day old cake. Very disappointing for how famous they are.

Had a chocolate croissant. Probably one of, if not, the most flaky, buttery, and fluffiest croissants in Manhattan. The butter flavor stood out the most in each bite. Also had a nibble of their chocolate explosion cookie and even a small piece packed a lot of good flavor.

Hands down the best cheesecake in NYC. The staff are always so lovely and welcoming. In addition to the great cheesecake, I love getting their croissant as well for a morning pick-me-up when I am walking my dog.

We had slices of cheese cake and olive cake, cream choux, and the donut with custard inside. I forgot to take pics of others but would recommend the donut and olive cake!! 10/10 unique and special to this lovely bakery. Also the cake boxes are really cute and the staffs are very kind.

My friend was on the hunt for the best hot chocolate in New York and tried his West Village favorite. While I wasn't in the mood for pastries, everything seemed extremely well prepped. A little small for obvious reasons (being In New York), the location's service was my favorite part of the experience. Definitely will need to go back one of these days.

The dark chocolate mocha with whole milk and a toasted mallow on top will change your life dramatically, and possibly forever. I now can’t move out of nyc because this is my go to for a good mood, sad mood, celebration, or devastation. I tell all my friends and colleagues, I should probably get a tattoo (image of a mocha). Don’t walk but run and try one today. You’re welcome and much love. Ps. I simply google’d what is the best bakery in Manhattan and this came up. I now highly recommend this bakery. Please see attached photos for what the place looks like and what the food looks like. I tried the sapeh, dark chocolate explosion cookie, vanilla brioche donut, chocolate croissant, and took the peanut brittle, all day granola, and signature shortbread to go. The person in front of me in line lived above the bakery and raved about how everything was good and that they go all the time. Everything I tried was good. The owner was on site and incredibly kind. Everyone was smiling and happy, knowledgeable and helpful. It was truly a magical experience, as the name suggests. Sapeh is really interesting and despite all my travels, one of the few things I had not heard of. I did not expect to try something new here, but I will take visitors to check it out next time they are in town. Nyc is such a fortunate place with talented and involved people bringing high quality at our doorsteps. Thank you Umber, and all involved in my visit! What a pleasant surprise that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Nasty lady with a nasty attitude didng Care that my child was literally cryiiiiing because she had to go. I came a long way just to buy pastries and cake. I left with nothing. From another borough

Best thing I ever ate: brioche donut with vanilla pastry cream. Holy cow. I came here on a whim just really to get a cold brew, but was pleasantly surprised at the spread of high quality baked goods in their case. I asked the person at the register what they recommend, anything. He said sweet or savory? Sweet! He said the brioche donut, I said DO IT. And wow, was I rewarded. Super perfect tender dough FILLED with vanilla speckled pastry cream. I also ordered a cold brew, forgot to ask for lite ice but seeing as though this place isn’t a trap, there was a good amount of cold brew in my cup! I am so psyched. So happy. Thank you!

I became a fan through Too Good To Go, so I’ve usually just enjoyed the pre-packed bags offered at the end of the workday. I’m never disappointed… the savory sandwiches and scones especially are so tasty. This is at the top of my list in the area if I’m ordering a variety of pastries for a group. Shout out to Gaby for being super kind and helpful with a last minute pick up order!

Amazing cheesecake!

We came for the cinnamon rolls and coffee but stayed for the curry chicken sandwich! Definitely the best item we had here. The salmon breakfast croissant was also good

I love mah-ze-dahr bakery and go to the midtown location almost every morning before work as my office is across the street. This morning I went to the Greenwich Avenue location to buy my usual latte. I ordered an extra-large hot latte (which I always get) and was very specific about wanting the extra large size. The woman taking my order asked twice. I paid for the latte and by mistake they made the smaller size. So I said that I had asked for the larger size. The barista then replied "You didn't pay for the larger size", and then made me pay the extra dollar and change, explaining to me that the larger size is $6 and change. I found this quite rude, as it was their mistake not mine. I asked for the extra large, they should have just added more milk and not bothered to charge me the extra dollar+. I'm giving 1 star today to the Greenwich location because they blamed their mistake on the customer.

Great local bakery with excellent pastries (the brownies are a favorite) and good drinks. The staff is always friendly and there is rarely a line. It’s better than other places nearby that have much longer lines.

Buy everything. Favorites are the granola, cheddar crisps, mah ze dah bar, old fashioned donut, carrot cake.

Quite possibly the best bakery in Manhattan. The sandwiches are amazing. I love the turkey and cheese croissant and the curry chicken salad. The cream puff pastries are also delicious.

Disappointing explosion chocolate cookies

Mah-Ze-Dahr is one of those bakeries in New York you have to try once so I dropped in for a visit. The shop was clean, cozy, and inviting with a decent but not too large selection of pastries and cakes. I ordered the vanilla bean brioche donut as the cashier mentioned it their top seller. It was indeed tasty, I appreciated the use of real vanilla in the filling and light donut batter. Overall, staff here was nice and there was no line. The coffee is La Colombe which while I do like I wish they had something more unique and original to the shop itself.

The pastries, coffee, and staff are wonderful. Unfortunately they no longer have a restroom available to guests so the environment is less welcoming.

Birthday cheesecake was delicious

This place!! I come here every time I visit NYC & it's always great, but today was exceptional. I ordered a cinnamon roll & an egg sandwich. The cinnamon roll was not too sweet and I got to pick which slice I wanted. The egg sandwich came with a spicy sauce and I was given a whole extra cup of it! Overall, great food, great coffee, amazing vibes.

Ideal spot for a more Italian style coffee (stronger and shorter). We also had a brioche doughnut and almond croissant, both delicious and worth popping in if you're looking for a tasty bakery snack.

True to its name the place serves one of the best cheesecakes. The cheesecake is light, balanced sweet level and you can feel the crumbles of hung cheese in each bit.

Mah-Ze-Dahr has always been a favorite of mine, I just love everything about this place the aesthetic, the amazing pastries, cookies,sweets, and coffee literally! I’d definitely say it’s one of my top 5 cafes in ny, would go and try their pesto danish, or the chocolate explosive cookies, or Slice of Devil in Ganache Cake; all of them are fruitful options! I also want to highlight on their very friendly baristas, very nice and talkative people!

Best coffee, pastries and service in the village.

I absolutely recommend their cheese scones. They are not so hard, like in other places in NYC, but savory and delicious. I thought before that I don't like scones :) Vanilla cream puffs are good too.

Excellent bakery and cafe. The croissants must be the best I’ve had in the city. The coffee is high quality and very strong. Friendly, nice ambiance. I’m rating it 4 stars because it does get very crowded and they don’t have a restroom for customers.

I've tried the savory scones, honey cake, olive oil tea cake, chocolate explosion cookie, choux vanilla pastries, jelly filled doughnuts, and the brioche doughnuts, chocolate matzah crunch and all are high quality, rich, and with flavors from the natural, fresh ingredients. The famous heavenly cheesecake is lighter than your traditional thick cheesecake with a more complex flavor. The Devil in Ganache chocolate cake is unusually rich and moist in dark chocolate. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Great place. The baked goods, coffee, atmosphere, and staff are all top-notch. The Turkey Gruyere Croissant (warmed up!) is a masterpiece! Trying the egg biscuit today. On a recent busy Saturday the staff handed me my order before I ecen could get to the register to pay.

I always have a great experience when I go here. The staff is friendly and inviting and the food… well it’s something you have to experience for sure. Very people oriented and community friendly!! And yummy sweets!!

I love Mahzedar. I can never decide between their chocolate tea cake and croissants! the tea cake is slightly dense yet fluffy. The croissants are flaky, soft, and buttery. All of their pastries are made fresh with high quality ingredients. If you go be sure to order a slice of their chocolate ganache cake - it reminds me of the ‘Bruce Brogtroter’ cake from the movie Matilda!

The people who work here really make this place awesome. Always so welcoming and kind. One request- please add some more flavored (caramel) and iced options. The vanilla is awesome but some variety never hurts :)

Mah-ze-dahr offers life changing pastries. It’s hard to find bakeries with this consistent level of service and quality, even in NYC. I leave happy and grateful every time I come here. But be warned, I have to limit my visits to only once a month for my own good - otherwise I’d spend my entire paycheck here and start missing rent payments.

This is my favorite neighborhood spot for coffee and/or a quick bite in Greenwich village. The baristas are all super cool and genuine, and it’s a great place to sit outside for a coffee with a friend. My faves: iced oat milk mocha quad shot latte and the smoked salmon croissant :)

Fantastic place! It's one of the best bakerys we visited in NYC, the staff is very nice and everything in the menu is outstanding!

We were visiting NY for the week and twice we went here to try the cinnamon bun and it was sold out. It’s not like we went just before closing but we were told that apparently it sells out before 1pm and the bakery closes at 8pm

I LOVE Mah-Ze-Dahr! Everything about it brings me joy. The quality and consistency of everything they make is incredible, and the staff is always so kind and upbeat– I feel so lucky to have a gem like this bakery in my neighborhood.

A bit pricey, which is expected for the area it’s located in. However that doesn’t matter when the sweets are delicious and unique. Their cold brew is great! I highly suggest trying the brioche donut and chocolate chip cookie from this cafe.

Monkey bread is amazing - not too sweet. Claims to have one of the best cheese cakes in NYC, imo it's OK, more dense / creamy. Quiche is also delish here
