We had the pleasure of working with Michael to plan a 10 day Hawaiian Cruise and stay at Aulani for our 50th wedding anniversary. When I say he thought of everything, I mean EVERYTHING! He requested our table-for-two for our dinners on board the ship, and when we attended the special brunch at Palo and it came time to pay, our waitress said that Disney was picking up the tab for our anniversary. We both looked at each other, wondering how they knew it was our anniversary, then realized it was Michael who had let the ship know at booking. What a wonderful surprise! And in the weeks leading up to our cruise he checked in with us regularly to make sure we didn’t have any further questions, and also sent us a quick note after we boarded to make sure all had gone as planned (we were enjoying a lovely lunch and our first cocktail at the time so I would say yes, all went as planned!). We can’t recommend Michael enough! He is thorough, so easy to talk to, and does it all. Because of him we had the anniversary trip we had dreamed about for a long time!

On one occasion we were subjected to a harrowing experience during a cruise and the owner of the company stayed with us all night via phone and made emergency flight arrangements for us as well as keeping in contact with the cruise company. I’ve always wanted to do a solo cruise in Alaska, but for obvious reasons, have been hesitant. I found Michael McKay and he immediately understood what I was looking for in my trip. My husband first worked with Travel Adventures Unlimited several years ago, and they helped him plan an amazing luxury vacation to Japan which exceeded our expectations on every level, from vendor choices to hotels to chosen activities. We still think about that trip all the time. This summer we worked with Helene who helped us plan a European vacation including London, Paris, Normandy and Edinburgh. Helene is a lovely person to work with. She was extremely responsive; there was almost no wait time for e-mail replies from her. She was so helpful with the logistical aspects, air and trains, which is not our strong point, and also helping us choose and apply for travel insurance was also really appreciated. She also handled a last-minute activity conflict we ran into due to an altered train time schedule and found another vendor for us that saved the day, and handled some communication with a hotel in France to answer some questions we had that saved us the time and effort. It was such a wonderful trip, I've already reached out to Helene for help with planning our return trip to Europe next September!

Just back from a three-week trip, TAU arranged a sailing on the Queen Mary 2, followed by a Mediterranean cruise out of Barcelona. All arrangements were great, family had a wonderful time, using again for another cruise next summer.
