Roof dry rot repair Outstanding service. Joe came and checked the dry rot which was found during a home inspection. We had a contract the next day and work scheduled 10 days out. Carlos and his crew arrived on time and ready to work. The job included having to remove a couple of solar panels, remove the affected area, install new plywood, felt underpayment and new shingles as well as replacing the solar panels. They cleaned up afterwards and let us know the were done and Carlos had pictures which allowed us to view the work completed. Highly recommend

Aug 2025 review. ACR solar previous did my solar panels and did a fantastic job. I had to get my roof replaced (ACR Roofing Systems) and the coordination to remove and reinstall the panels was seamless. They even found a bad panel and RMA'd it. I would definitely recommend ACR solar for you solar needs.

Very glad we recently hired ACR Solar to install our swimming pool solar heating system. First off, they are located in Carmichael close to where we live. Secondly their pricing was well below two other companies we got bids from. Finally they are very timely and extremely conscientious about their work and they do the job the right way. Thanks to Aaron, our salesperson and Clark, the foreman. The installers stayed with it until the job was finished and actually got it done a day early. Now we are enjoying comfortable, warm water and looking forward to extending the swim season right into the fall.

My solar contractor went out of business midway through my installation on an ADU, I called many solar companies only for them to tell me they wouldn’t touch a partially installed system. Clark from ACR was the only one who came out and got me on the right track. He went through all the previous notes and corrected inaccuracies and worked with me to get my plans resubmitted to SMUD. This team is fantastic, I can’t recommend them enough. They are a team not just after your money but willing to help when you are up a creek without a paddle. I have now moved my parents into the ADU thanks to the help of this team and Clark in particular.

I was having problems with my dishwasher. The repairman thought we had a bad wall switch and circuit breaker. We called ACR who had installed our solar and a new electrical panel. They were in our area and arrived within the hour. Kody found a bad breaker which he repaired. He also kindly replaced a bad outlet under the sink as well as the bad wall switch (which he had to go buy parts for.) Kody explained everything thoroughly and was thankfully able to fix our problems that day (the Friday before a 3 day weekend.) We highly recommend ACR for their service and for our solar/install as well!

Soo.... FINALLY I can post my review of ACR Solar (and Roofing). Understand I had to at least wait for a few good rains to say I LOVE my new roof and we are in fact "water proof"! I have never been so impressed with the customer service of any company as much as I am with ACR. They did the solar for a new pool last year 2021 and it worked perfectly allowing us the most comfortable swimming experience in our new pool. That was last year... Next up our 25 year-old roof was looking tired.Because of my solar experience with ACR's amazing staff (both in the field and in the office), I decided to get a bid (1 of 4) from them on a new roof this year (2022). Oh my gosh Joe Petersen runs a smooth, courteous, professional company with an awesome team of workers. Not one person was rude, lazy or "questionable".I am one who asks MANY questions because I just like to know and understand "stuff". Joe was so very patient with me. (Thank you Joe, lol).I always try to HIRE LOCAL whenever possible but get at least 3 bids regardless. This LOCAL company came in competitive, were pretty quick to get me on the schedule, and once the job began did not waste a bit of my time or theirs.Thank you so much for your excellent service on both of my jobs. I have a 30-year-old Barrel tile roof and some under lay that needed some TLC as well as two solar Hot Water Pannels that needed to be remounted. They were installed 30 years ago as well when the roof was put on. Most companies either do roof or the solar. Not both. And being cement tiles not many takers. Found ACR while searching the web and it was the best thing I could have done. The estimator came out the next day, I showed him the price just for the roof from another company who did only roofing, not solar panels. I wanted to just hire one company to do both. ACR got on the roof and took pictures. They came back with the price that matched the other company and for a few dollars more remounted the Solar Panels. Soon after C.E.O.Joe Petersen and his Crew consisting of Brian, Jessie, and Robert came out. What can I say, These Guys were Friendly, and Professional in every sense of the word. And Hard Workers!! These Guys were MACHINES! Took two days to complete the job. The Price was Great, Roof Looks GREAT and the remounting of the Solar Panels is Excellent. They Cleaned everything up when they were finished. You would have never known they were here. I can't say Thank You Enough (ACR) C.E.O. Joe, Jessie, Robert and Brian.
