Chris Park K9 Training is the best! My puppy spent almost three weeks with trainer Kristina for the board-and-train program, and I can’t believe the difference in him. He’s still the same playful, happy puppy, but he listens so much better and is much more focused. He follows my commands and now has the freedom to be off leash, which has been amazing. I was sad and nervous sending my boy away to an unfamiliar place, but I felt hopeful after reading so many positive reviews. Chris kept me updated throughout the entire process and sent pictures and videos, which meant so much. I loved seeing him socialize with other dogs and watching his progress. The follow-up sessions were also great. Chris took the time to show us how to maintain everything he learned and set us up for success at home. Chris did such an amazing job with my Aussiedoodle, Baker. Baker was a dog who was afraid of people and other dogs. He would lung, bark, not be accepting to being around new people or dogs. I thought he was reactive and aggressive but from Chris’ professional perspective he taught me that he was acting out of fear rather than aggression. After 4 weeks, Baker is a changed dog. Baker is extremely obedient on and off the leash. He is open and accepting of new people and dogs. I am able to bring him in crowded public places (that allow dogs) and he does AMAZING. Before he experienced his training with Chris, we were unsure of how to help him or didn’t have the smallest bit of control over him which was stressful and overwhelming at times. Now he is the “perfect” dog and we are so proud of him. Chris walked me through every command and expectation before I brought him home and that made all the difference. He explained the why behind each command and how they will help me and my dog be on the same page. While 4 weeks was a long time for him to be away it was worth every minute & dollar. Additionally, Chris is available even after the training is complete. He sets up times to do follow up training practice and it is so helpful. Our lives have changed for the better having a dog who respects, tolerates, and enjoys the training he received and continues to put the practice in use throughout our everyday routine and lifestyle.

We sought out Chris’ help after trying and failing with a different type of training program for our “foster fail” rescue pup, Charley who had become suddenly reactive to other dogs. Prior to committing to the training we met with Chris who talked us through his training regimen, regaled us with success stories and answered our many questions. We left that meeting with one very important thing: Hope. Fast forward a few months and Charley went to Chris the weekend before Christmas; which coincided with our family trip to Florida to visit the grandparents. The whole family anxiously awaited texts and videos of Charley with updates and progress, which Chris did provide. When we arrived to finally pick up our girl after three long weeks we were thrilled she was excited to see us, but had also formed a bond with Chris. After four follow-up visits with Chris in “the real world” Charley, as well as us, finally graduated! These follow-ups were crucial to ask Chris questions in real-time and truly understand the training methods that Charley had worked on with him. Is our dog perfect now? Of course not, Chris is good … but he isn’t a miracle worker. And no dog is truly perfect, of course. But this training was exactly what our stubborn and strong-willed dog needed. She learned basic commands we wouldn’t had otherwise instituted that literally make our lives easier and less anxiety provoking. Chris also gave us the tools to combat her reactivity, should it arise in the future. He makes himself available for any questions or concerns that may come up, even long after the official training has commenced. We are so happy we decided on this choice for Charley and our family.

Chris did an incredible job working with Denali and Everest! They’re still the same fun, crazy girls we love, but now they’re trained to listen and respond to us. We can let them just be dogs while feeling confident that they’ll follow our lead. Thank you so much, Chris!

We just completed the 1:1 training. When our puppy started pulling us on walks, we knew we had to do something. Chris gave us 2 options and we decided to do the 1 on 1 training, which requires us to work with the dog a few times a day to get the commands down. Chris trained our dog and showed us how to, told us what to work on and how frequently. He presented all the information really well and his training methods are professional and direct. He cares about your relationship with your dog and wants both dog and owner to succeed. I highly recommend Chris and his team.

I started doing one on one training sessions with Chris for a month. I came in one day after being sick and my spouse overseas for work and started telling him jokingly to take her because I’m exhausted and then broke down (ugly crying). Once my spouse returned home we met with Chris and decided the best choice for our Doberman was to give her to a top tier expert Chris. She came back a better version of herself, night and day difference because of Chris’s expertise, attention to detail along with love and patience. Khaleesi is living her best life ❤️!

We had a wonderful experience working with Chris and his team! When I was deciding whether to enroll my dog, Chris spoke with me at length on the phone to explain the process and establish expectations. The boarding went great and I received regular updates. I was a little worried about coming back to a dog with a changed personality, but that wasn't the case at all. Dyno is still a happy and goofy pup, but I could see when Chris interacted with him, how he commanded the dog's attention and respect. In our follow-up sessions, Chris showed me exactly how to practice the training methods so that I could also start having that kind of relationship with my dog. The improvement in Dyno's attention and recall has been tremendous- I was so impressed with him at his graduation! There are still areas for us to work on but I have more confidence and trust to let him enjoy freedom more, which has definitely improved the quality of our outings together. Most importantly, I feel equipped with the tools and knowledge to continue the training process and keep strengthening our relationship. In summary: if you are looking for a dog trainer (especially one close to the Boston area), I would 100% recommended Chris!

Chris is the very best at what he does!! I want to start by saying my dog absolutely LOVES Chris and London. One of the biggest concerns I had when looking for a trainer was "is that person going to treat my dog right" When he was dropped off to us he was super happy and wagging his tail and was so good with London. When we went to our follow ups with Chris, he ran right up to him wagging his tail, genuinely happy to seem him and vice versa. Such a relief knowing he was in such good hands during the few weeks he was away. My 5 month labradoodle is so unbelievably trained that the constant comments and small from shocked and wide eyes dog owners are getting annoying. "he's only 5 months?!?" is the most common comment. George hasn't been on a leash in 4 weeks and I regularly walk him around Boston, job sites and around my neighborhood where I live. He is completely on command and is only getting smarter and smarter with our nightly walks. I am so grateful I chose the right trainer....run don't walk to sign up for Chris' board and train and enjoy the best dog in the neighborhood for a longtime to come. Chris is a natural with identify dog behavior. We had a very unique and urgen scenario and he was willing to immediately help with a family member’s dog. He advised virtually and gave us confidence in handling an uncomfortable situation with a German Shepard. Everything worked out, family is happy and the dog is happy! I’m 82 years old and I would not have been able to keep my husky if it wasn’t for Chris. I am so astounded with the transformation of my dog’s behavior after training for 2.5 weeks with follow up visits to ensure that the training lasts outside of the training location.

Chris is the only one who got my boy to stop biting my dad and I. Other trainers kept telling me redirect etc and it was just making it worse. It got to the point bonding between us had stalled because all he would do was bite. Chris and London saved us! Maximus and my bond is now impenetrable. Things like snuggles are occurring often which didn’t happen since he was 3 months old. He loves being between my legs whereas before he would do the safety command but he would be scared between my legs now it’s his favorite spot. I’m able to watch movies with him. Take longer walks with him. Go on adventures with him. Take him to pet friendly stores. We can now continue to more advanced training classes like agility . He made me become a confident handler and now I don’t have to read 50 million training manuals or pay for 1:1 sessions . And I don’t feel like a failure anymore. Everyone has seen the difference in him. I’m so proud and grateful. He truly cares for his clients. He taught me for two months after doing board and train. And he sent us videos and photos during board and train. If you feel like a failure and nowhere to turn to and tired of all the different trainers voices, trust me he is the one to go to.

I couldn't have expected any better of an experience working with Chris and his crew. At drop off when I was already starting to miss my girl, Sasha, Chris spent the extra time to talk to me and ease my worries :) The communication and the photos that were sent to me throughout training were awesome. The videos especially were something that I looked forward to. I got to see Sasha playing with others dogs, training or working with London or Chris. No matter which.... always a good time. Great people, great philosophy, great facility, great results, great choice! Hands down!! It's such a good feeling when you go back to see your trainer and your dog gets so excited that she can't wait to get out of the car. Training with Chris and crew was definitely the right decision.

I was extremely hesitant to start dog training because I do not agree with e-collar training. As first-time dog parents who had just adopted a 4.5-year-old Goldendoodle, we truly did not know what to expect. My biggest fear was that training would change who our dog was or make him fearful, and that was something I was not willing to compromise on. Before committing, I spent 30 to 40 minutes on the phone with Chris. He was patient, transparent, and thorough in answering all of my questions. While I appreciated his approach, I will admit that I was still unsure. My husband felt strongly about moving forward, and when we met Chris in person, he again took the time to walk us through the process in detail and address my concerns. Throughout the training, Chris regularly shared videos of our dog’s progress along with thoughtful commentary, which helped ease my anxiety and build trust in the process. London, who worked directly with our dog, was absolutely fantastic and clearly cared deeply about both the dogs and the outcomes. When we picked our dog up after training, the results were remarkable. He was truly a better version of himself. Not only did we notice the positive changes, but friends and family did as well. He was not fearful, shut down, or different in personality. He was confident, happy, and still very much himself. Most importantly, our bond improved and we genuinely enjoy each other more now. After our dog graduated, Chris continued to support us by meeting once a week for three weeks to walk us through the training and ensure we felt confident continuing at home. By the end of the process, I told Chris how apprehensive I had been at the start and how genuinely glad I was that we trusted him and his team. I would 100 percent recommend Chris and his team. Even if you are skeptical or nervous like I was, they are professional, transparent, and truly care about the dogs and their families.

I did a lot of research before deciding on what would be the perfect fit for my female American Akita; I have to say, working with Chris and London was the best fit for Luna and I. As Luna started growing up, she started testing her "abilities" more and more. I was having a very hard time with controlling her barking, basic commands (she would do as she wanted in the classic Akita way), and her reactiveness. Now, she was/is not aggressive in the slightest but she would try to pull me to whatever she wanted to go see. She would sometimes listen for a treat but that was not sustainable. I wanted more for Luna and I. After having the initial meeting with Chris, I knew sending Luna to him for boarding and training would be our best option. It was really hard to send my girl away for two-ish weeks but London and Chris would send me updates, pictures, and videos of my girl to assure me everything was going very well. In the process of our follow up visits/training, I tore my ACL and ended up having knee surgery which put a pause on everything for around 6-7 months. I had to have help from others who did not know Luna's training. Throughout this time, I could tell Luna started to test my boundaries more again as I could not keep up with the level of training we had until I could start walking again. Luckily, Chris was very patient and understood the circumstances and was very willing to continue our training. After just the first follow up meeting after all of this time, Chris refreshed not only Luna's memory on what to do but also mine. She has now graduated his program!! Chris' willingness and responsiveness to help us again through this time is forever appreciated!
