We took the Muir Woods Nat’l Park tour. It far exceeded our expectations! Prior to going to the park, Per our tour guide (pronounced Pear) gave us an extensive tour of the city including a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge. Per provided tons of historical and contemporary info about the city, He included lots of trivia and fun facts along the way. He’s also very funny which made it that more entertaining. This tour is worth the time and $$$ and if you get Per as your tour guide, BONUS!!

Simply the Best Remarkable tour by every measure...start to finish! This tour led by a truly professional guide (Barry) provided an exclusive and once in a lifetime enjoyable experience in one of the most beautiful parts of the United States. The wine tasting was fabulous and the people at each stop were fully engaged in ensuring all had a memorable time. Cudos to Dylan's Tours and guide Barry for creating a wonderful memory!

Brilliant day out Brilliant day in the end. Mixed messages re where to meet and which part of the trip was first but managed in the end. It says Sausalito in the description but we really only drove through the place. No time to stop and explore. Our driver Jules was amazing though. Very knowledgeable and funny. Patrick was our tour guide and he was very entertaining and informative. Loved the chocolate and quizzes and comfortable ride. I wish we could have gotten off at a few more places (Ghirardelli square, see painted ladies, etc). Photo stops should be added to the tour.

Tour guide fell ill, but Dylan's tours gave plenty of backup options, including a full refund. Ended up choosing an earlier tour and very glad we did. Barry our tour guide was a hoot and made the experience very pleasant!

Great, insightful tour! The tour experience is excellent. We highly recommend this experience for folks who want to see San Francisco and Muir Woods but do not want to commit to a full day excursion. Our guide provided details about San Fran with a side of wit and humor. We spent just the right amount of time in Muir Woods to manage a solid 2 mile hike. Highly recommend!

Helpful folk and amazing tour, you can see and learn so much without feeling too rushed! My great experience with Dylan’s tours started before I even arrived in the USA, kidney and patiently helping me work out timings to squeeze in a trip to Muir woods on a tight schedule, and changing my tour date twice to make things work. And then the tour itself was amazing- small friendly small group, great knowledge and driving from Dylan himself, stunning views, the perfect pace to fit in plenty without feeling rushed. And the redwoods at Muir forest were just incredible!!

So Many #1 Hits I took a tour with Roger and it was fantastic. Roger LOVES his city and it really shows on the tour with everything he knows and shares. The sights we drove through and stopped at were the perfect overview of everything you think of in the Bay Area: Golden Gate Bridge (stop), Muir Woods (stop - unbelievable), Chinatown (drive through), Sausalito (drive through), and so much more! And the playlist was *chef's kiss*

What an incredible experience! Dylan was our host for the day. The tour and conversation was great! Patrick and Dylan got my husband and I a reservation at the Barrel house on Valentine’s Day in Sausalito. Even after we ran 15 mins behind at Muir Woods ( no fault to our tour guide ) the restaurant was still holding our table because they “ they just knew we were coming” Thank you Dylan and Patrick for such a great day! You are our two favorite people in San Francisco!

The post is inaccurate the host informed me over the phone that the tour is actually 4 hours and that they spend about 15 minutes at each of the locations aside from Muir Woods where you will spend an hour. I was told over the phone that I could cancel because the listing is inaccurate but they stopped replying after. You’re better off going to these locations on your own which is what I did. save your money.

I could have used another hour in the woods just to longer and savor the environment but didn't feel rushed - just left wanting more. Great deal and value, our guide was knowledgeable of the city and always willing to take photos. Also he was very accommodating to drop us off at the location close to where we were going after the tour, as long as he was passing it. The only thing that was annoying was waiting for people who were late. It tells you to arrive 20-15 mins before the tour but we still had to wait for 2 people and then wait for people again on each stop, not the driver’s fault, just need to be more strict with time cus it’s not fair for many of us.

Our guide, Jeffrey, made our first day in San Francisco extremely enjoyable. He took us to many of the neighborhoods explaining their history. His knowledge made us excited about exploring San Francisco. Our adventure to the John Muir Woods was the icing on the cake. Great combination of urban culture and natural wonders. El tour incluyó San... La gira incluyó San Franscico, Muir Woods, Sausalito y Alcatraz. Mi favorito era Muir Woods y Alcatraz y el puente Golden Gate. La parte de San Francisco del viaje fue más de un viaje de muy alto nivel en la mayor parte. Estaba bien para dar una mejor idea de qué ver con más profundidad. Per era un guía turístico maravilloso y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Dylan Tours es una compañía turística más pequeña y recomiendo reservar tours con ellos.

Patrick, hat sehr unterhaltsam die Tour geleitet. Es wurde nie langweilig und er hat sein Wissen über San Francisco wunderbar vermittelt. Ich hätte nur lieber noch mehr Zeit im Muir Nationalpark gehabt und dafür weniger Zeit für den Lunchstop eingeplant, bin mir aber sicher, dass das bestimmt nicht alle so sehen. Alles in allem eine super Tour.

Tour pricing should include entry to Muir Woods. Not sure why tour operators cannot get Alcatraz tickets for their customers so it is not necessary to spend 20 minutes in a queue before getting on the ferry

Did a tour this weekend that went to Muir Woods, Alcatraz, stopped in Sausalito, and a couple other spots. Was very smooth from pick up to drop off. We landed in the city very early am and debated cancelling the tour but were glad we didn’t. Patrick kept the ride lively as well. Would recommend to anyone traveling to San Francisco.

I went on a tour with Sully and cannot recommend it enough. Sully was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He had so much to tell us about San Francisco. We went to so many places and I feel like the tour covered just enough. The bus was clean and we were offered water and a snack upon the start of the tour. Muir Woods was my favorite part of the trip. I think anyone visiting should book one of the bus tours! You won’t regret it!
