My wife and I are what we call full-time snowbirds, living in Michigan for six months and then living at our condo here in Lantana the other six months. One thing we definitely don’t want is an A/C malfunction when we are 1400 miles away! So after a couple years when refrigerant had to be added we decided to replace our ten year old HVAC system. I looked at 23 local contractors, narrowed it to five strong contenders, and asked for estimates. Of these, Mandy at Cool Air was the only one to quote exactly the sort of equipment I was looking for, even including a WiFi enabled thermostat so I can keep tabs on the cooling status during the summer when I’m not here. Considering Cool Air’s 35 years in business, it’s A+ rating with the BBB, overwhelmingly good reviews, and their reasonable semi-annual service agreement, they got our business. The new equipment was installed carefully and expertly by Marvin and Richard, a team who have worked together over 20 years and really know what they’re doing! The whole experience was painless and we couldn’t be happier. The plan now is to use Cool Air exclusively for semi-annual maintenance (fall & spring) and I’m expecting at least ten years out of our new system. Thanks, Mandy and crew!
