Very fun and enjoyable. The sushi turned out great!

I was at the Thai cooking class on Jan 2nd - my first cooking class ever. It was amazing! Chef John is the real master of his craft, and for me, as an amateur cook, it was an absolute delight to watch and listen in person how the stuff really gets done. I appreciated he not only showed cooking techniques but also briefly explained the "character" and origins of dishes we were doing. I initially planned to take home the meals I've made, but they were so good I finished them all right there 😄. The class lasted for two hours, but it was well-organized, so not a second was wasted (kudos to Lee and Patrick for their assistance). I also liked the vibe of the restaurant, very cozy and clean. Ah, and it's only a few bus stops from Metrotown if you don't drive. Last Sunday I've made Green curry home, making sure I'm using everything I've absorbed from Chef John and it totally was a step up a notch over my previous attempts. Definitely recommend!
