The absolute best. And pricing is amazing. I live an hour away now and still get my parents to pick meat up for me when they come visit me so I can stock up because prices are crazy in other places!! I’ve been buying from ZK Ranches for roughly 5 years!

We love this place! They have a wide variety of prepared beef, and everything is done right there in their store. Everything we've had has been of exceptional quality, and, most importantly, they TRULY aim to please! Do yourself a favor and check them out! They're closed on Sundays.

HEADS UP!! They get their beef from the stockyards. They do not raise all their own cattle. They buy a fair amount of it from the stockyards too. As for the other meats? I'm not sure, but I assume it's probably the same. Eggs are hit or miss... Be Aware!! If you are planning on getting meat before a holiday... get in here and get it ALL two weeks ahead of time. I walked in on Monday, Dec 22 and they are literally out of just about all red meat, no 80/20 ground beef left. Very few steaks left. No roast. Just about everything is gone, including bacon and pork sausage. (There's some wealthy people in this area that buy it in bulk so you have to get ahead of them too). Definite recommend!! If you’ve never been, and you have a budget to watch, be sure to pick up a price sheet at the register. That will help you tremendously!! They have chicken, pork, and beef - the gals at the register told me all animals are raised on land with no pesticides - I don’t know how true that is but I’m hoping it’s 100% true. We’ll see when we eat this meat - it’s usually pretty easy to tell when you’ve had the real deal before. It just tastes different. Everything is super clean - as you would want it to be (you can look into their processing room and it’s very well kept.) Not sure why they can’t send a detailed receipt either to my email or text. I’d rather have a printed one but I understand them not doing that - however, a detailed receipt still needs to be available. The ladies at the register are a hoot but so perfect for that job. I had hoped this store would be on property at one of the farms the either own or lease but it’s in the middle of nowhere. Lol. (Across from what obviously used yo be farmland that has now been sold off for homebuyers and builders - it’s a neighborhood now minus a few commercial metal buildings). Easy parking - wide enough for big trucks and SUVs. Such a HUGE plus. Easy in. Easy out. Most everything is frozen so that’s super helpful to those of us who have a bit of a drive to get back home so we can make sure it gets back in the freezer right away so it doesn’t go bad. (Bring a cooler with you…). They do NOT sell produce or dairy - tho I was so impressed with them that I wish they did but it’s definitely smart for them to stick to one genre and do it best. We currently get all of our pesticide free dairy from Stone Valley Farms in Kentucky. They deliver and I’ve never had an issue. Still trying to find pesticide free produce tho… The rest of our goods, we typically buy from Bryants Amish Store in Greenbrier as they are always kind and friendly and always have what we need - always willing to answer questions too, which is huge when you’re trying to feed your family healthy options. Great job ZK Ranches!! Super impressed and can’t wait to dig into this meat!! Thank you for giving us good meat to eat - it makes such a huge difference on our health! ❤️

I love their steaks and their smoked pork chops. I’ve been a customer right now probably six months go all the time buying something a steak here or steak there can’t beat it plus, they’re very tasty and very good and they are so nice. Michael is an awesome guy.

I will never get meat from Walmart or Kroger ever again this place is the best and the ppl ar ethe best the only problem I have is I jus found out about them in 2025
