I can't say enough great things about Mallach and Company! Two years ago we started the home buying process and it was a disaster that ended terribly. When we decided to try again just a few short weeks ago, I was incredibly nervous and prepared myself for the worst. Our previous realtor we had met at an open house and, not knowing the area since we had just moved to Texas, we decided to go with her. The previous realtor required we sign a six month contract with her before even meeting with us to go over our house search and once we had signed she refused to show us a single home until we had a "fully underwritten pre-approval" which every lender told us was impossible because to be fully underwritten required property details and we hadn't viewed a single house yet! By the time we could meet those demands, all the houses we were interested in were gone. We gave up for a while and decided this year to try again. Expecting another nightmare, I planned many, many months in advance and found a realty company highly recommended, Mallach and Company. I had a phone call with Tina and within minutes she got our info and lined up two houses for us to view that I was interested in that same night. Tina helped me sell my parents’ home, who recently made the decision to substantially downsize. They took very little with them to their next home, and I had the daunting task of figuring out how to responsibly disposition 90% of the contents of a large home. Tina and her network were a godsend. First, she connected us with the best mover I’ve ever had. The movers actually cared about us and my parents’ furniture. They were careful, incredibly flexible with changing direction, and accommodated our timeline. Second, she connected me to an estate seller who took care of the disposition of all the items not moved with my parents. Over a period of only three weeks, she and a couple of helpers managed to sort everything in a 4,500 SF home into categories of 1) for sale, 2) donate, and 3) junk. She took care of everything and was thoughtful and compassionate the whole time, which reduced my stress of having to go through my parent’s things, which hold sentimental value. Third, Tina arranged to have certain things in the house fixed (like a broken window), some painting touchups, cleaning, etc. She coordinated all of it, again lessening the stress for me. Finally, and most importantly, she successful sold my parents’ house. It was under contract within a month or so of being on the market, and a buyer’s market at that. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the whole experience, and grateful that Tina took on more scope than a typical agent would. When we decided to sell, we called Mallach and Company based solely on their google reviews. It didn't take long at all to realize exactly why they were so highly rated. They showed up on day one with a detailed analysis of the local market and our home, walked through our house and recommended updates for better sell appeal, and developed a strategy to get us on the market in our desired time frame. They were both 100% hands on the entire time to include fully staging our home while we were at work. We received our first offer on day two and were under contract by day three. In a time when the average home is on the market for 30-40 days, Holly and Tina managed to sell ours in three and above what we anticipated. Holly and Tina really went above and beyond for us. I'm sure the last few weeks before going on the market they were at our house more than we were taking care of things for us. If you need a realtor, stop what you are doing and call them. Kelly Ladner has been our realtor for years now. I bought a house in 2016 and sold in 2020. We recently relocated back to Austin. Through out the process of relocating she been incredibly helpful with face timing us on different properties. She even went as far as to let us ship things to her home and then dropped our packages off at the property when she took position of it for us.
