Attended the balloonfest and stayed here, what a cute place. Arrived Thursday and it was so peaceful and clean. Highly recommend site #200…We enjoyed watching the beavers at sunset, and the beach had lots of tree frogs! Friday night came around and what a change…kids were screaming at the top of their lungs at 10:40pm, no regard for others or the quiet time. Didn’t get much sleep so we decided to head home early on Saturday. Would I stay again? Yes…during the week…Thursday was perfect…

The management and staff are fantastic! They care about making your stay a great one. They have activities, live music and even catered BBQs (included!) WiFi is excellent, cable and several great seasonal and transient sites.

Excellent place to stay! Staff goes above and beyond to make everyone's stay comfortable and pleasurable! The pool is clean, has a robotic vacuum and they test the water daily. Abundance of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The store is quaint with many ammentities. Huge playground area for the kids. Mini Golf. Beach area. Activities and music every weekend: DJ, bands, arts and crafts, wagon ride, bingo, etc. Sites that don't have Sewer- the honey wagon goes around every morning or you can call when you need it. The wifi works everywhere and is fast! We never had any issues streaming. We will definitely be coming back!

While everything was 5-star, the service was top notch. The camp ground was rustic, yet clean—family friendly, too. But again, what made our trip awesome was Karl-with-a-K, and his team. Every question or need that arose was met with both friendly and productive results. Definitely going back.

We had an awesome stay, the site we had was designed for back in but we didn’t really have the room to do it (a more experienced driver could probably do it with ease) so we just pulled across parallel to the road and river (as the lady taking us to the site originally suggested but I’m kind of stubborn) fortunately I had extra power cords so we could reach the power source. All though there was no sewer hook up the complimentary “honey wagon” service was nice especially with a teen aged granddaughter with us. The view of the river and the serenity of the site were a plus we definitely plan on coming back next summer and hopefully can get the same site (now that we know how to park there).

Summer time Rock -n- fun in Warrensburg Travel Park & Riverfront Campground Love this place!!! Stayed here for 4th of July weekend and had a blast The owner is one of the coolest people I met He takes pride in his campground So much to do here Mini golf, pool, great little beach on the river With access to bring your kayaks down to the water AC/DC cover band played 2 nights He had a cancellation with another band Owner arranged for the AC/DC cover band to play an extra night So we wouldn't be without a band that night He really bends over backwards To make you happy We had such a blast We booked the rest of the season Never done that before We even locked into next year to A great experience for wife, my to puppies & I Specifically since we had a bad crash with camper & the owner really cared about our safety and showed concern When he saw the damage Never experienced an owner this great at any of the campgrounds we stayed at We have stayed at a lot of them Some for a month at a time & by far Karl is the best one we have met and i look forward to hanging out with him & the rest of the staff On our new adventure Great wooded camp sites With lots of shade They also have so many other events and activities on the weekends Bands every weekend, DJs, & even paint and sip The best of all It's close to Lake George So you can enjoy all that goes on in Lake George but be able to get away from the craziness and relax at the campground poolside with a cold beverage HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Perfect place to connect with nature, have fun & relax! Laughing at the bad reviews. This has been the most enjoyable experience for our family here at Warrensburg Travel Park! Everything is so clean, orderly, beautiful and fun! The owners and staff are so nice, accommodating and great sense of humor- we just love it here! It's genuinely the best spot for a family with all the activities on the weekend, fun themes, clean pool, gorgeous river beach and bands on Saturday night's! We spend most of our time at the basketball court, fishing and enjoying the very short ride to Lake Geoge! We are so happy with this campground!

Just left the campground. My husband, adult son with twin four year olds, and I were very happy with our 3 day stay. We dealt mostly with Linda, Cricket and Bob, all who were friendly and accommodating. The manager, whose name I didn't get, was also very nice. The owner, Karl, helped pick our site when we made the reservation. It was large enough for a two-room tent, small camper, large canopy, and two trucks. The sites were no closer to each other than other RV campgrounds and there are a lot of trees and shade. The pool was clean and had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The playground didn't look great but had MANY play structures, wagons, Little Tyke vehicles, etc. Our 4-year olds loved it. There were some nice freebies like a stack of wood and bag of ice on arrival. On one day the whole family got to pick a free ice cream from the freezer.

Great family campground! Karl and his team are great hosts, welcomed with open arms. Perfect combination of rustic, with convenience. We enjoyed the entertainment, the river and the pool. Our site (018) accommodated a 30’ Class C, a tent and two cars. Our family of 8 had a blast!

Was a little bit nervous because of the negative reviews. Drove up with my family of 6 for a visit to lake George. The good: -Staff was very helpful and treated us well -Playground was great with lots to do -Pool was great -Pond and beach area is one of the best we've had for fishing, swimming, kayaking What we disliked : -Spaces are a little tight -landscaping could be better in play area We would go back again if ever back in the area.

Best campground for family Hands down, the best campground in lake George! Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 young children) spent the last week tent camping at this amazing place. We were there during their Halloween in August celebration. And they went all out. They had a bounce water slide, a virtual reality ride, live bands, haunted wagon ride, crafts and trick-or-treat for the kids. You can really tell that they care about their campers and go out of their way to make sure that they have an amazing experience. Restrooms, porta potties and showers were immaculate. Cleaned / pumped out daily. Campsite was spacious and not muddy (we had a few days of rain) The pool was beautiful and heated. Plenty of loungers and umbrellas all around the pool as well. Carl, Sue and the rest of the staff are absolutely awesome. We will be continuing our family camping tradition at Lake George with Warrensburg Travel Park from now on. Can't wait to return next season!
