Great family campground! Karl and his team are great hosts, welcomed with open arms. Perfect combination of rustic, with convenience. We enjoyed the entertainment, the river and the pool. Our site (018) accommodated a 30’ Class C, a tent and two cars. Our family of 8 had a blast!

Best campground for family Hands down, the best campground in lake George! Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 young children) spent the last week tent camping at this amazing place. We were there during their Halloween in August celebration. And they went all out. They had a bounce water slide, a virtual reality ride, live bands, haunted wagon ride, crafts and trick-or-treat for the kids. You can really tell that they care about their campers and go out of their way to make sure that they have an amazing experience. Restrooms, porta potties and showers were immaculate. Cleaned / pumped out daily. Campsite was spacious and not muddy (we had a few days of rain) The pool was beautiful and heated. Plenty of loungers and umbrellas all around the pool as well. Carl, Sue and the rest of the staff are absolutely awesome. We will be continuing our family camping tradition at Lake George with Warrensburg Travel Park from now on. Can't wait to return next season!

A fantastic campground! My family and I book a few trips here each summer, and we always have such an amazing time! The owners put sooo much work into making this a really fun getaway for families and lone travelers alike--and they don't tolerate excessive rowdiness, so you know that you are in a peaceful and safe place. That peace of mind alone is worth the trip! I'm someone who really appreciates cleanliness (a bit of a germaphobe), and the staff is always making rounds to ensure the restrooms are super clean and well-stocked. Not to mention, they are all so friendly and make you feel like you're at home. The range of activities is fantastic, too, as they have everything from live performances from bands that are really entertaining, to sitting down and playing BINGO with some friends, to making holiday-themed cards for loved ones, and so many things in between. It is truly a wonderful site and I can't recommend visiting Warrensburg Travel Park enough!

Wonderful place I've visited both Medcalf and Warrensburg, I love both campgrounds. My family enjoys all they have to offer. From live bands, to a convenient store located on property, to being able to swim in the heated pool. The themed weekends really made my kids excited. They got to have a "christmas in july" which really made us all smile. I love the staff. They were very helpful on guiding me to my site. Once there, they made sure I had everything I needed to be settled in

Awesome campground We have been seasonal at this campground for 2 years and it is an awesome place to summer. We have been camping for 35 years and this has been one of our best experiences. Family campground is what they advertise and what they give. The entire camping experience is around the kids and i don’t even have kids but it is nice to see all the kids having so much fun at the 4 playgrounds and numerous bike riding roads. All the kids events he brings in pony rides and bouncy houses clowns, have painters all for free !!!!!!!!! Jen who works for the campground and her kids are the most busy hardworking folks i have ever seen at a campground they are a pleasure to deal with. As far as people complaining about bathrooms they are cleaned 4 times a day i see Linda busting her back keeping them clean and let me say some people are absolute slobs and she keeps them sparkling. The folks complaining about the owner are most likely disgruntled “former” campers…. Karl and Shelly are fantastic from the day we came here they have been available to discuss anything and everything and he goes out of his way to make campers happy….. I have never had an owner of a campground be so available to his tenants in my life than karl is He is dedicated to making this a fun family campground If you expect to go to a campground and then stay up partying and getting hammered and repulsive until 4 am totally disrespecting your fellow campers then yes this is not the campground for you and you are probably the ones leaving bad reviews….. grow up and move on They provide bands of superior quality all summer, free cookouts, clean heated pool always maintained, campfires with free s’mores, bingo , 2 dog parks There is something for everyone here Best decision we ever made was joining this campground family
