After leaving a review detailing my recent experience with Keil, I was contacted by one of their employees via phone call. I wish I could say that it was a productive, courteous call. Instead, the employee in question proceeded to shout at, speak over me multiple times during the course of the 3 minute conversation, and generally complain about my review. I informed them multiple times that I had no interest in arguing with them, or debating the facts of my review, which are clearly outlined below. I had a poor experience. I left a review, which I am empowered to do, as a former client, outlining my disappointment and the details of my personal experience with this company. Apparently Keil sees fit to allow their employees to contact their clients and effectively dismiss their concerns/experience, while being verbally combative. I find this incredibly unprofessional.
That was my experience today. The employee in question dismissed my concerns, argued and spoke over me, and complained that I was throwing the company under the bus. I didn't in my original review. I clearly outlined my experience and disappointment with the results. I wish I had paid attention to the other less than favorable reviews, who warned about the lack of professionalism earlier. Now that I have experienced the lack of professionalism from this tech in particular, I will be avoiding future service with this company. In the event that the individual is reading this: please do not attempt to contact me again. I will gladly speak with a manager about my experience regarding your conduct today, but otherwise, would prefer that Keil and their employees do not contact me again. Thank you.
I contacted Kiel for a plumbing emergency, after they were recommended to me. After 3 other failed attempts to fix my issue with no fewer than two competitors and one handyman, they were a last ditch effort, beyond opening a home owner's insurance claim. I am disappointed to say that my experience was a poor one.
I was charged $450 for work that wasn't completed. While I am happy to pay for time and diagnostic efforts, the tech thst arrived was unprepared. They did not bring a camera with them, which seems like a crucial missed step. How can you diagnose the problem with no visual point of reference?
Not only did they not resolve the plumbing issue - if anything it is no better than it was 4 months ago - they charged by the hour, despite the tech leaving my property to borrow an item they had forgotten to bring for at least 30 - 40 of the minutes that they were "on the clock." There are companies in the Richmond area who will not charge if they don't fix the issue, which seems to be a fair and honest way to run a business. I cannot justify being out $450 when the issue persists. I was told that they could replace a section of pipe in the hopes it would fix the issue (how they would know is beyond me, as again, they never ran a camera to confirm whether the issue was a root, clog, or broken pipe,) but I never received the promised quote for that work.
I can't recommend them in good faith if charging exorbitant amounts of money for a.) No true diagnosis, b.) Ill prepared technicians, c.) No solution is the standard.
