If you’re looking for a wonderful African safari experience just book directly with Wito Africa Safaris! We collaborated together to plan an itinerary that fit my schedule and do the things I wanted to do. Long story short: I’m blessed I met Abdullie the owner of the company at the right time. I booked with him within a few days of meeting him in Canada and decided to trust working with him. I was nervous since I planned on going solo, but it turns out it was the best decision as he’s a blessing to work with and his entire team! Ironically, I felt a calling to go see the big cats in Africa before meeting him and I end up working with a safari company called Wito which translates into calling! Calling Africa Safari… yes, I got to see the big cats including a leopard and walked with a lion too! I felt very supported working with the team from navigating flight issues, to stopping for medication at the pharmacy on route to having my own personal photographer documenting my journey. I really enjoyed it! Thank you Bobby and Jimmy! Everyone was professional, friendly and calm under the storms. Any problems you have they work on addressing them promptly with their Hakuna Matata mantra. As a business owner and interior designer I loved working with them— they treat you right. They even had a welcome gift bag for me upon arrival with customized water bottle and local sustainable gifts. Their recommended accommodation for camping was beautiful and luxurious. Overall, Wito Africa Safaris exceed expectations, and you’d want to work with them again! The team somehow feels like familiar friends. With them I felt safe as a solo woman out exploring the wilderness. I’ve already recommended them to my friends and family, and would definitely consider working with them again for future safaris. Lastly, my trip also included visiting Zanzibar and I have to say that my driver Juma was an amusing guide too. Instead of driving me to the airport only, he showed me around town and even got me some local food to try on the way along with trying to teach me some Swahili, their local language. It was fun! Tanzanians felt similar to Arab’s friendliness and hospitality. I was smiling a lot! Thank you so much, Abdullie and the whole team!

Wito (Monica) helped to organise our honeymoon first to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe side) and then to Botswana for a honeymoon - to Chobe National Park, Savaute and to the Okavango Delta. Wito was (indirectly) a recommendation from someone else - and we were delighted we went with Wito. Monica was heavily involved in helping us to set our itinerary and, besides Monica’s infectious enthusiasm, what we particularly liked was that Monica had actually been to all the various places so she could guide us based on her first hand experience. Monica also made herself continually available prior to our trip for calls and to finalise details. The trip itself was amazing. Every aspect ran smoothly - we were delighted with all of the lodges, the food, the transfers and - most importantly (for us) - the safari in Botswana (not just the wildlife and landscapes, which was incredible, but also the knowledgable (and fun) guides - Tony and Mompati in Savute were particularly good and deserve an explicit mention). In short, this trip was everything we wanted it to be. This must be the first review I’ve written for as long as I can remember but I wanted to put on record how fantastic Wito (and in particular Monica) were.

I have now traveled with the Wito team four times, including safaris in Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana—and every single trip has been absolutely extraordinary. From the first booking to the final day, Abdullie, Jenna, and the entire Wito staff go above and beyond to make every detail seamless and stress-free. Our guides, especially Bosco, are not only incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and regions but also a joy to spend time with. On my first safari, we saw the Big Five in a single day, had elephants walking right past our Land Cruiser, and even enjoyed a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti with giraffes below and a rainbow on the horizon. Since then, each adventure has been just as magical, whether exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, the vast Serengeti, or the beauty of Eastern Africa. Every lodge and camp has been carefully chosen, with outstanding food, hospitality, and unforgettable settings—from elephants wandering through camp to relaxing beachfront days in Zanzibar. I cannot recommend Wito enough. They don’t just plan trips—they create once-in-a-lifetime experiences. I am already looking forward to my next safari with them. It's been two weeks since we arrived from Tanzania, where my wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary, and we're still in shock and enjoying everything we experienced. Thanks to Wito, and above all, I want to give a very special mention to @monicaonsafari, who was the organizer and our liaison with Wito, the person who prepared absolutely every detail and surprised us throughout practically the entire safari. Monica is someone who always welcomes you with a smile and dedicates all the time you need to answer any questions, concerns, or anything else. Also, of course, I'd like to thank our wonderful driver and guide @issasuedimassumay, who helped us at every step and showed us Tanzania, her home, like I think few people could. Her kindness was unparalleled, always with a smile. Tanzania is a spectacular country to visit and try to get to know as much as possible. Its people are very friendly and dedicated to making your stay unforgettable. A safari paradise in its various conservation areas, highlighting Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and of course, the Serengeti—one of the most spectacular places for wildlife we can visit on Earth.
