My wife had an accident after which we needed care at home badly . They did an outstanding job , doing all kinds of chores as we wanted them to perform, from cooking to house keeping to taking personal care of my wife in helping her to take a bath , and what not . They were extremely professional and wasted no time in doing their jobs . Even when one was not available, a replacement was provided without any delay , and all of them performed equally well . Interim HealthCare of Bowie was a lifesaver. I had moved across the country to take care of my dad, but as his dementia worsened, the job was more than I could handle and still work for a living, so I started looking for a home care agency for my dad. I was not interested in saving money by hiring a stranger through Craigslist. Interim's caregivers are licensed CNAs who took great care of my dad, ensuring he was fed, bathed, and clothed every day and took his medication. They also tidied up his room, washed his dishes, and did his laundry. If a caregiver had a scheduling conflict, Interim was able to send out a replacement caregiver, which is not something you get when you hire someone directly. Interim also accepted payments from our long term care insurance company, so we didn't have to pay up front and get reimbursed later. And I felt good that the caregivers were supervised by an RN and that the owner herself is a physical therapist. It was a very good experience, and I would recommend them to anyone.
