Good pre-travel arrangements, good tour guide Our first trip to Ghana was smooth and comfortable. Before the trip, the arrangements were custom tailored to our budget, interests, and timeline. Our tour guide (Mike) met us at the airport and remained attentive, flexible, and kind throughout the trip. There were no issues rearranging plans to accommodate last minute meetings with friends or addressing minor injuries (first aid kit and epipen were available). One minor downside was that some costs (hotel lodging, transportation) were unclear. That could be improved by including an itemized list of expenses upon booking. All in all, this was a great trip and we would recommend Easy Track to family and friends.

Accra City Tour, La Beach We visited Kwame Nkrumah Monument (climbed to the top), Independence Square (massive and impressive), Jamestown (very sad history through a walking tour), WEB DeBois Center (amazing to learn it was his last house and final resting plac)., and ended our day at La Pleasure beach where we enjoyed delicious jumbo pawns.

The most amazing and unforgettable experience! We planned a 15 day journey to Ghana, but we were not too sure how to travel and what to see . Easytrack offered us a tailor made tour that was perfect for us. With two amazing guides (Mike and Adams) we travelled in the North, South and West of Ghana. The guides have extensive knowledge of the country and could bring us to places we would not have found on our own. We loved the diversity we've seen in nature, people and culture. We had the most amazing and unforgettable experience travelling with Easy Track, i would highly recommending travelling with them.

Excellent Excursion Our family of four (parents plus 13yo and 11yo) went on a 21 day tour of sites in both northern and southern Ghana -- including the Pikworo Slave Camp, the Slave Defence Wall, Kintampo Falls, the Ashanti Palace in Kumasi, the Ancestral slave river site at Assin Manso, Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle, and more. And, overall, we had an absolutely amazing experience and a wonderful time. Easy Track Ghana took care of all of our accomodations -- not only room and board, but also water and snacks. Our guides and drivers -- Ebenezer, Adams, Philip, Tim, and Mohammed -- were all absolutely wonderful and very kind, and went out of their way each day to help us have the best experience we could. They were a pleasure to work with.Ghana itself is absolutely gorgeous, and encompasses a diversity of climates and terrains. Our trip was in the drier season (although many folks mentioned that it was wetter than normal -- most likely due to climate change), which I personally think contributed to how well our trip went -- for the most part we did not have to deal with mud. By far the people we met were quite friendly overall; however, I found the folks in the north (Bolgatanga area especially) to be authentically curious about us, whereas it felt more like folks in the south were more wise in the ways of interacting with tourists -- especially those who might have disposable income to share. I would highly recommend visiting the northern regions for these reasons. If you are considering going, here are some things that we wish we'd known before we'd left:1. Exchanging money is not quite as easy or straightforward in Ghana as it is in the US or Europe; make sure you have recent bills, as we found that the exchange rate would change based upon how long ago our bills had been printed -- sometimes by more than 25%.2. Tipping (or "dash") is an entire cultural point; in this, your guide(s) may not be as helpful as you might like in providing feedback. In general I would suggest that you ask your guide directly if they will be providing tips at the locations you visit. You may still want to add your own supplemental tip in addition, but it's good information to have regardless. Tips for your local guides (at specific attractions) are separate from those for your tour guides and drivers.3. Food takes a long time to prepare at restaurants. We generally found the food to be absolutely wonderful, but we were often waiting a half-hour or more for it to arrive. Don't wait until you're starving to eat.4. Mosquitos are a huge concern. One of the "resorts" we stayed at did not have mosquito nets over the beds (just cans of bug spray), and the door had large gaps and holes (directly to outside); needless to say, our entire family was covered in bites the entire time we were there. Make sure you have adequate protection against bug borne diseases, as you may not always have nets.

Coffin Workshop Tour I took the half day coffin workshop tour on my first day in Ghana. I really appreciated the pickup and drop off at my hotel. My driver Mohammed was friendly with me and careful in his driving. My guide Ebenezer was knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour and carver were fascinating and I had a great time! I also enjoyed (and was surprised at) all the information available on their website on such topics as tipping, communicating with locals, bargaining and handling uncomfortable situations. Great company! I only wish I found them sooner in my trip planning process!!!

great day trip We went to Shai Hills and the waterfall. Our tour guide in the park was excellent as was out tour guide/driver. We saw many fascinating animals and walking the Savannah was spectacular. Our driver/guide Kwame was very accommodating

Perfect and well organized trip I did a 4 day birding tour to Mole, a day in Shail Hills and a day at Sakumono lagoon. It was absolutely fantastic in every aspect. Great guides, well organized, food and accommodation, great. Birds mind blowing! It was the second time I have used Easy Track and both times were fantastic!

An excellent Volta tour for our family The EasyTrack staff and our guide Jojo were excellent - friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. We toured the eastern Volta region: artisan crafts, Wli Falls, Keta Lagoon, over 6 days. We felt that we connected with both people and geography by travelling with EasyTrack. A wonderful country to visit - very accessible Africa!

2 weeks in Ghana with our family of 6 We spent 2 weeks with Easy Track Ghana and had a wonderful time. Adam Yussif, our guide for northern Ghana, was especially good!

An amazing Cape Coast tour We did a four day Cape Coast tour (three days touring and one relaxing at Coconut Grove Resort). Mike was our host and we could not have been happier. Being from Cape Coast we saw and experienced things that only a local would know. Our first stop was a Posinan shire in Mankessim. After having just starting to read a book on the history of Ghana it was very interesting to hear a local elder explain its meaning and significance. Cape Coast Castle was truly an emotional eyeopener not to be missed. We now have a far better appreciation of its impact on those who passed through. Not to be missed.We enjoyed the sights and thrill of the walkway in Kakum. Thankfully, as I clung to the ropes, Mike was braver and took some video/photos on the bridge. Well worth doing. The Stingless bee facility was a pleasant and very interesting surprise. A knowledgeable young man taught us about the bees and the center itself. Mike’s biggest surprise was the cultural experience”. In honesty I was expecting some type of hotel floor show. Was I ever wrong! Mike picked us up after supper and we drove a very short distance to a nearby hotel. On entering only five chairs were laid out. This was a performance of the Akemapa Dance Group, a group of very talented young local performers. It was one of the highlights of the trip. We were so grateful to see such energy and pure joy in their music and dance. What talent!!!We saw Fort San Jago overlooking Elima Castle and fishing lagoon. The Fort had an incredible view of the ships heading out for the night. What an amazing sight. I was fascinated with the lagoon and its boats. Mike knew the perfect time to visit!Coconut Grove Resort was great. Wonderful pool, beach and well maintained beautiful grounds. One of our goals was to relax….which we definitely did!!! The resort has a nice 18 hole course and we played several times. Restaurant food and service was all very good. I’m hooked on their coconut chips!!! It was Christmas time so the resort was full but didn’t have a sense of holiday madness…was quite calm. Lots of families with children enjoying the holidays. Though very happy with accommodations next time I would ensure a sea or garden view. Our room was wedged between a brick wall and building wall with air conditioner units. No view and little light. But we did book relatively late and it was Christmas so it we just were grateful that Eric could get us in and just to be there. We both would go back in a heartbeat. Wonderful resort.Over the years we’ve travelled quite a bit. Eric at Easy Track was very flexible and helpful ensuring we had an unrushed and relaxed tour. Thanks to him for the idea of an extra day to relax. Mike was a fantastic guide tuning into our interests and enhancing the tour. An example….He knew we like art and artists and introduced us to his friend whose studio is next to Cape Coast Castle. We had a wonderful visit and purchased a couple stunning works. He was patient answering our many questions also. In hindsight had we done the trip on our own we would have missed out on so much. Mike really was a godsend.Having never visited Africa before we can wholeheartedly recommend Easy Track for your travel plans. If there were more stars to give we definitely would. We felt in the very best of hands with Eric, Steve and Mike. Thank you for a memorable tour!!!!

Your guiding star in Ghana I was very impressed with the service and the friendly attitude. Guys are flexible as much as you need. I took a sightseeing tour of Accra and a visit to a shaman and everything was just superb!

Mole National Park Safari & Tour Using Easy Track Ghana to arrange our 4 day Safari and Tour to Mole National Park and the northern region of Ghana was easy. Flying from Accra to Tamale early in the morning was a good decision. Our driver Jesse picked us up (all part of our package, at different locations, there was no traffic to deal with and the airport was quiet. The start of our vacation went well.The flight was approximately 45 minutes without delays. The airport is small but our luggage appeared fairly quickly. As we exited the airport, Adam, our guide was waiting outside with cool water ready to go. Our driver, Omar was waiting in the parking lot. So that was easy! Of the three nights and 4 days there were many highlights. Paddling in canoes searching for hippos in the Wechiau region was exciting. Since it was the rainy season we could only see the top of their heads at a comfortable distance away. During the drier season, also much hotter at this time, you can experience more of the Hippos at this sanctuary.During our driving safaris we saw two enormous elephants. Absolutely amazing. Their foot prints are massive! Well worth the wait and we saw many other animals on all days. But my favourite activity is the early morning safari walks. I would do this every morning regardless. What a great way to start your day. We stayed at the Zaina Lodge, had a 6am enormous breakfast which sustained us for hours and at 6:30 am Adam and Omar took us to the Mole National Park headquarters and meet up with our guide for the walk or headed to a sanctuary in some other location. At the end of our day we would head out for a swim at the Lodge in their infinity pool overlooking the park and sip on our evening beverage. The lodge was outstanding and the service was excellent. Very personable staff and accommodating.Our guide was Adam and I cannot say enough about him. Very personable, knowledgeable, especially with local information and well respected guide wherever we went. Ask for Adam and Omar!

Wonderful Experience Customer Service was top notch from booking with Eric Tomeh to our departure from Ghana. I enjoyed our trip around Ghana with our tour guides, Jojo and Adam. My husband and I got to get some clothes made, I danced with a village, we did amazing safaris, we helped weave a Kente clothe, printed our own clothes with adinkra symbols and all the local food we had was delicious 😋. Birding Tour to Ankassa and Kakum I had the opportunity to visit Ghana for about a week. I made arrangements through Easy Track Ghana to go on a bird watching tour at two locations, Ankassa and Kakum. The guide was exceptionally good and found many of the local birds for me. From a birding perspective it was a great trip. Because of the COVID pandemic closing Ghana until September, the accommodations were short staffed so there were things that could have been a bit smoother but I think that will straighten itself out as more people visit and the places rehire necessary staff.

American and Ghana Family We had a wonderful time. We were pleasantly surprised. The location was off the ocean. If was very clean and the food was excellent. The staff was warm and efficient which made our stay very comfortable. Thanks Joseph, David, Nana and the whole staff. I will definitely go back.

Excellent tour company to work with We had 2 days of tours with Easy Track Ghana and were very pleased with both. Our first day was a "Pack an Extra Bag" day trip where we visited the Potter's Village Orphanage and School with a suitcase of school supplies we brought with us. Our driver, JoJo was excellent. We learned so much from him for our first day. He also took us to nearby falls and we were able to visit a cocoa farm. Our second day was a car / driver rental to see the Eastern Region. Jessie was our driver. He was also an excellent tour guide and took us to see many places including Umbrella Rock and the Botanical Gardens. We booked both of these day via email with Ebenezer. He was very prompt in getting back with us and confirming everything. I can highly recommend this company.

Traditional Naming Ceremony What an amazing way to start the new year. After doing my research and speaking regularly with Ebenezer, I booked this trip with a simple deposit. Communication was great from day one. I chose to organize this ceremony on January 1 because I wanted my group to be “reborn” in a way leading into the new year. We were not disappointed. From drop off, until the end of the day, Jessie took excellent care of us and provided us with knowledge and blessings we needed to jumpstart 2020. The village was full of wonderful people, many we met as we walked to the market. Playing table tennis with the young men as we walked was a special bonus! Between the blessings, the libations, dancing and drumming, and having our lunch with everyone, this “tour” felt like we were visiting family. We never wanted to leave them. There was even a moment one of my friends got tired and wanted to go to the van to rest. Jessie wanted no parts of that and had the community create a comfortable space for her to lay down. Others joined when she looked so content. That’s what family does. My group is still talking about this day and how impactful it was for us. I’d recommend it to anyone, and I have. Trip of a lifetime Aa an inveterate traveller, I cannot recommend Easy Track Ghana enough. From the first contact via email with Eric I was always advised and informed well and the planning was professional and responsive. Their interactive website is excellent and helps you create your ideal holiday exactly the way you want it. I was looking for an experience that combined culture, relaxation, and adventure, and Easy Track Ghana delivered on all counts. Communication was always prompt and payment was easy. During my one-week round trip I had a wonderful guide and driver in Mike, who went the extra mile in making my trip extra special. He also facilitated meeting locals which became the most memorable part of my trip. From cooking classes to sightseeing and nature explorations, Ghana is a wonderful country with so much to offer, above all its hospitable and welcoming people! Easy Track Ghana to Cape Coast Had a great experience with Easy attack Ghana. They were able to book a trip for me last minute and provide excellent service. My drive Jojo did a great job driving us around to Cape Coast, Elmina, Kakum, and other places. He would make sure we are hydrated and looked out for us. As tourists we felt very safe with him. He picked us up from our house and dropped us off there - didn’t need to meet at rendezvous point which was also convenient. I also appreciated ETG checking in with us during the tour to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend!

City Tour Myself and my friend did a city tour wity Jojo who was our tour guide.Service was fantastic! Jojo came on time to pick us up in an air conditioned vehicle.City tour was very informative! We learned alot about the history of Ghana at Nkwame Nkurumah memorial site. We visited to stadium. We then visted Christenburg Castle where we learnt history of slave trade and batter trade. We shopped at the market and found some beautiful souveniers. Jojo was very patient with us and our needs. The lunch that was provided was delicious and large quantity!!we chose to eat Jolloff grilled Talapia fried plantain ...included in tour package.We visited James Town learnt about the shrine and its sacred nature. Cannot recommend this company We are a mature couple from New Zealand. We booked and paid for a 13 day guided tour of Ghana. We paid $12,000 NZD. This was to include a guided tour, vehicle and petrol, accommodation (to the standard of our choosing) dinners, lunches, breakfasts entrance into tourist spots, tips. Accommodation and meal allowance for our guide.The tour was to start from Accra in the southern central region to Wa and Mole national park in the north eastern region and return to Accra.We chose to travel by road in order to see and experience as much as we could.We were assigned a driver/guide, who picked us up each day and delivered us to our hotel each night. He acted as our interpreter and guideWe chose a variety of accommodation standards during our trip. We had 6 nights altogether in 5 star sccommodation, one night in a budget hotel and the other 6 nights in mid range hotels.Our problems with this company were numerous.Whilst we agreed to the itinerary it was virtually impossible to achieve due to distances and conditions of Ghanaian roads, (the dangerous state of Ghanaian roads cannot be exagerated). This necessitated excessive speeds and dangerous over-taking by our guide in order to complete our itinerary.The guide had not been given enough money to cover petrol costs for the trip.The guide had not been given any money to cover the cost of multiple police stops and bribe money.We did not have all our lunches which was our own choice. We discovered that not all our hotels had been pre-paid by easytrack and this caused a problem at the end of our trip when our guide had run out of money to pay for our last 2 nights accommodation and a meal.In summary easytrack promised too much and didn't deliver.If we had known how difficult it would be to fit everything into our time frame/itinery we would have reconsidered our itinery and holiday plan to better match time frames

My 2 day tour of Accra and The Cape Coast This is my second visit to Ghana and want a guided tour of Accra and the Cape Coast.I called a few tour company's while in Ghana. After talking to Steve from Easy Track Ghana, I knew this was the one for me. He set up a web page for me, that had everything listed, contact info and easy payment. I was able to keep in touch with them by phone,email and text. My tour guide ( Julius ) was just great. Excellent driver, very informative on the locations we visited in Accra and Cape Coast. I was somewhat impress at the respect given to him at every location we visited. He really made our tour worth while. I had a Great 2 Days touring Accra and The Cape Coast, thanks to Easy Track Ghana.Also like to thank Eric who keep me in the loop and being very professional.

They thoroughly succeeded!We organized our visit to coincide with a festival in Kumasi, allowing us to see the Ashanti King and various chiefs in all their traditional regalia. Our tour guide, Michael, encouraged us to take as many photos as we liked and remained by our side to explain and answer any questions about the ceremonies. To get a true sense of the Ashanti kingdom, he also took us to see the King's palace, along with a visit to watch Kenti cloth weavers at their traditional looms, and a hands on activity where we chose symbolic designs to stamp our own adrinka cloth. Truly a great experience!Wherever we went, Michael was known by the local guides, who offered us an intimate tour of their particular site. Make sure you take the fantasy coffin tour, and meet the owner of this unique artwork shop that produces handmade coffins in various designs - we saw an eagle, a corn-on-the-cob, an oxford shoe, a fish and other unbelievable coffins. We felt perfectly comfortable and safe walking around a makeshift fishing village, where people live on little else but their daily catches from the sea. It was an eye-opening experience we'll not soon forget.Make sure you take advantage of the unique "extra bag" tour, where you choose a charity you wish to visit, whether it be a school, orphanage, or medical clinic, and bring a suitcase filled with supplies to donate, visiting the charity and its people. Easy Track went out of their way to set up my wish to visit a leprosarium, where we were able to learn about the disease, as well meet and interact with the leprosy patients.There are so many tours to take - don't miss Cape Coast Castle and Elmina, to get a small group tour of the slave forts that will leave a lasting impression. We saved the best for last. I'll always treasure our blessing and naming ceremony, officiated by Jessie's (co-founder of Easy Track) mother, a fetish priestess. Jessie explained the entire ceremony as we participated in the ritual. We were made to feel a member of this wonderful family, and before we left we went through an adapted naming ceremony. This is the type of service, the care and concern each member of the Easy Track family takes to ensure your trip is exceptional. There is no one better! We thank them for taking such good care of us, and hope to see them again.

Professional and very caring We booked a 5 day birding trip with Easy Track Ghana.From the start Eric in the office was quick and efficient and helpful in his replies. He suggested a great itinerary.When I had to cancel the day before we were due to arrive, for family reasons, Eric calmly rescheduled everything for two months later.We felt very happy and comfortable with Julius, our driver - confident, safe and knew the roads- and Kwame, our bird expert- encyclopaedic knowledge of Ghana birds that he loved to share.Both Julius and Kwame looked after us as if we were their family!They truly wanted to make sure that we had the best experience, and we did.For birding we visited Sakumono lagoon, Keta lagoon , the Volta river, Xavi bird sanctuary. We had two canoe trips.Also visited a Fort Pridzenstein, Adomi bridge and Akasombo Dam.We stayed at Meet me there lodge- gorgeous eco lodge on a lagoon; Adi lake resort- beautiful situation on Lake Volta; and Okera inn in Accra- clean and fine for a night's sleep before starting our birding adventure.Apart from the birds, a highlight was the nocturnal turtle expedition from Meet me there lodge, when we observed an Olive Ridley turtle laying eggs and then returning safely to the sea.If I ever return to Ghana I will definitely ask Eric to organise another wonderful tour with Julius and Kwame.
