Ken is a real pro at a super reasonable price. He did an amazing job tying in new red oak hardwood into our living room and refinishing 1500sqft of our existing hardwood. Did a killer job on the trap door to our crawl space too. His communication around the timeline, pricing, and job scope is flawless. I would recommend him to anyone!

Worked with Ken in June 2025 to refinish our hardwood maple floors. Ken did a great job; he communicated clearly on options, was very responsive, and was able to fit our project in quickly. We appreciated his follow up help with a small detail. Update a few weeks later - we had an unexpected need for additional help from Ken with installation of a new island. Ken responded quickly and was there to save the day with some patch repair work. We greatly appreciate his responsiveness.

Ken is highly knowledgeable on all things floors. After speaking with him for 5 minutes, it's clear that he has been installing floors for a long time. He installed ~4,000 Sq-Ft of floors in our house by himself. He picked up the wood and brought it into the house. For the floating stairs in the house, I had one contractor tell me he would do the floors but not the stairs. Another contractor quoted the same amount for the stairs as he did for the entire house... Not only did Ken quote me a decent price for the stairs, but he also knew how to do it, and had done stairs like this before. Ken told me how much the job would cost, how long it would take, and when he would start... and he actually did what he said. He wasn't the cheapest, but I knew he was the most knowledgeable, and he would be doing it himself. He contoured the wood around the rock fireplace and had great ideas on the best way to deal with some architecturally interesting areas of the house. He took the time to ensure it was done correctly and looked good. He took genuine pride in his work. I would use Ken again and again. He's the guy you want to make your house look great.

Ken installed new flooring in our newly bought home back in 2022 and did an amazing job! He ripped out all the old LVP and carpeting quickly (which was the whole house, included stairs, and around 1300 square feet) and seamlessly installed the new flooring without any delay. My husband and I are still thrilled for the new flooring and are so grateful for Ken’s help. Can not recommend him enough!

I have nothing but high praise for Ken’s work; we’re lucky to have such a resource locally. My extensive maple floor experienced severe flood damage, as well as years of big-dog scratches. Ken proved himself a consummate craftsman, with superior skills and attention to detail. Not only is he hard-working, but intelligent and a fine communicator. We found ourselves in need of replacing our aged bamboo floors at our home in Bellingham.
