The Hermanitas of Kennett High School had an incredible time with Secret City Scavenger Hunts at Grand Central Terminal! From start to finish, the experience was engaging, exciting, and full of energy for both our students and chaperones. A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts, Julie, Lisa, and James, who were not only fun but also incredibly accommodating with our time constraints. Their flexibility and enthusiasm made the entire experience run smoothly. The students had an amazing time working together, solving challenges, and exploring one of NYC’s most iconic landmarks in such a unique way. Special thanks to Jared for guiding me in choosing the perfect hunt for our group. Jared, you truly helped make this experience a success! All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Secret City Scavenger Hunts to any group looking for a fun, interactive, and memorable adventure!

The best birthday party EVER! A bunch of 30 year old kids running around a museum making bird noises wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card but I’m SO glad it happened.

I took a group of high school young ladies and chaperones to NYC to do the Central Park scavenger hunt. This was my 2nd booking with Secret City. Our first trip included the Grand Central Terminal hunt. In comparing the two… Central Park was amazing because, well, it’s Central Park! It was beautiful weather, everybody was having an amazing time but it was soooo long. It didn’t seem possible and everybody complained about sore bodies. I loved this hunt so much but would just advise to scale it down a bit, try not to cover so much ground. That is what the Grand Central one had over the Central Park. A smaller amount of land to cover. Loved the Central Park one, just cut some or one or two areas of the park out!!!! Fabulous time!!

It was great experience anticipating Secret City’s scavenger hunting event. They design the game in a great way with team pictures, videos and word games. Throughout the hunting, we have to find hidden clues behind murals, statues and city signs. By following each delicately designed questions, we walked on the street, in the buildings, up and downstairs, and sometimes get help from local residents or securities for each answers, entered shops that we would never got a chance to enter, explored the magnificent city history and fascinating stories. It was a fun game and I will do it again for my next visit to NY!

Fantastic way to celebrate a birthday or special events with friends. Jared and his team did an amazing job of putting a fun filled scavenger hunt together for our group! The clues, puzzzle solving and videos were an intriguing way to learn fun facts about neighborhoods in NYC, histical and current facts and have fun solving clues together in a friendly but competitive activity!! Great experience during the Midtown scavenger hunt. The questions were tough enough to make it a real competition for the group. Everyone had a great time and I highly recommend Secret City. Great communication and cool way to spend time learning new things.

The Family Center Youth Advisory Board thoroughly enjoyed our scavenger hunt in GCT this past February 2022. While we had originally scheduled a hunt in October 2021 for Central Park, we had to reschedule. Secret City Scavenger Hunts could not have been more accommodating: they are easy to communicate with and very responsive. Laura was our point of contact for the hunt day-of and she made it so much fun! The youth loved running around the station and learning about all the secrets of old NYC and its famed train terminal. I was happy that everyone in our group heeded Secret City's advice and wore comfortable shoes. It's only a two hour hunt but you will need refreshments afterwards and trust me: you will sleep well after all the fun of a Secret City Scavenger Hunt!

We had an AMAZING time with Secret City! The Director, Jared, was very helpful and responsive from day 1 of trying to plan an event for a bigger group. Krista and Laura met us at the starting point and we did the Legends of the Village hunt. The hunt was amazing, the clues were interesting and we learned a lot about the area. Definitely looking forward to doing another event with Secret City!

Had such a blast. Local New Yorkers said they realized how little they knew about their own city. As someone who loves to walk around staring up at the buildings and reading the plaques, I was living my best life!! The competition fuels you to move at a quick clip, but the SoHo hunt was so fun and beautiful. There's really not enough time to stop and eat on the hunt haha so be prepared to flag things in your map that you want to return to! But it was just so much fun to work as a team running around and figuring things out. I went with friends to celebrate my ten year anniversary in the city, and afterwards we were all buzzing about how perfect and unique it was. Here's hoping I can do it again someday! Thom, our guide, was so warm and genuine and I was grateful for his kind, positive energy. Also had an awesome experience with the customer support in planning from the beginning; they're willing to work with you to make sure you and your group have the best time, and even to adjust if weather changes the week of!! I'd recommend this to anyone!!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with this team. Jared, Joe, and Sofia hosted a scavenger hunt for our group and it truly exceeded every expectation. Our UN team had so much fun and could not stop talking about how enjoyable and well organized the activity was. It was a fantastic bonding experience and we even got a great workout at the same time which was a wonderful bonus. The energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm from the staff made the entire event unforgettable. I highly recommend this company for any team building activity, corporate gathering, or group event. We will absolutely return in the future.

Our team of 17 did the Chelsea Market SH. It was a great experience all around. The questions ranged from easy to hard and was equally rewarding. We ended up finding places we did not know existed.

As one of the activities at my daughter’s College Family & Alumni Day, we stumbled upon this hidden gem – the Secret City Scavenger Hunt at Grand Central Terminal in NYC. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were in for an unforgettable adventure! From the start, Jared from Secret City was incredibly helpful and patient, answering all my questions. On the big day, we met Laura, who was as warm as she was organized, making sure we knew exactly how the game worked and building up the excitement! The challenge? Two hours, 60 quirky questions, photos to snap, and a mystery puzzle to solve – all within the majestic Grand Central Terminal. And trust me, once the clock started ticking, we were off and racing! What made it even more exciting was the fact that, as a native New Yorker, I got to experience this iconic landmark in a completely new way. Instead of rushing through it like I normally would, I was stopping to soak in the beauty and history hidden in plain sight. It was truly eye-opening! But be warned – this scavenger hunt is no walk in the park! It’s a full-throttle race to the finish, so if you’re not a fan of walking or need to take it slow, it might be a bit intense. But if you're up for a challenge, it’s perfect for team-building! Whether you're with family, friends, high school groups, or even coworkers, it’s a fantastic bonding experience. Plus, since it’s indoors, it’s an awesome activity rain or shine, winter or summer! My advice? Dress comfy, wear your best walking shoes (no high heels here!), and leave any extra baggage behind – you’ll want your hands free for all the action! By the end, you’ll have a blast racing through the terminal, trying to solve the mystery first. Huge thanks to Jared and Laura for making this experience so much fun!
