A fantastic service, quite quick to get to the assessment. I've been on the NHS autism waiting list for over 4 years now and I wanted to help my self while waiting by ruling out ADHD, as it appears I have been diagnosed with combined ADHD. It was a light bulb moment, where my childhood and the struggles I face as an adult suddenly made sense.. Thankyou so much for being so empathetic and compassionate throughout this journey I'm on.

Im writing my review of what i have recieved so far. I paid 2nd October , sent all forms back to them. Sent I'd & got my doctors to send a summary of medical care . UPDATE: I've had my assessment 2 weeks from paying & had all forms filled out. Had a lovely lady do the assessment and as much as I had worried myself about it, it went smoothly & she made me feel very calm and not silly (biggest fear). Now waiting for written report but happy to know my diagnosis now. Great service , very fast . Looking forward to see what's next 😀.. will update as I go

I've spent most of my life feeling like I was pretending and skating by on last minute efforts. Every success brought me greater fear (the higher you climb, the further you can fall) and greater shame for being outwardly successful and yet not able to tidy my house or stick to a diet. I just thought life was hard and I wasn't fully up to it. A throwaway comment from my sister made me look into ADHD and its symptoms and I was shocked by how closely my experiences matched those described. I was unsure about seeking a diagnosis after 33 years without one, but ultimately the desire to understand myself won out and I found CareADHD. I was surprised by their competitive pricing relative to other providers and initially I was concerned this might be an indication of lower standards or quality, but opted to take the chance. I am very happy to state that I was completely wrong in that initial worry, CareADHD have been excellent at every step. Sharon has been great at getting information to me and organising my assessment and Heather was compassionate and friendly throughout my assessment, which culminated in my diagnosis. I've yet to decide on how to move forward now, honestly I'm still processing the shift in perspective diagnosis has given me on my past and present. But I have no doubt that if I decide to pursue further treatment it will be through CareADHD first. UPDATE: I just want to update my review to add that since my diagnosis I have gone on to complete titration with excellent help along the way from Elizabeth and Hazel. The first medication we tried didn't work well for me, but they took my needs into consideration and found a medication and dose that worked best for me and my symptoms. Throughout the process and in my interactions with them I always felt like both Elizabeth and Hazel were absolutely committed to getting the best result for me, which they absolutely have. The medication we've settled on has had a huge impact across all areas of my life, and far exceeded my hopes at the outset. I've begun the process of seeking shared care, and initial conversations with my GP were positive, so hopefully that will be be the cherry on top. Either way, many, many thanks again for all the support.

I am always keen to share when something has gone wrong.. and equally I should be more vocal about when things have gone well or at least when folk have done a good job. So, I will share some of my experiences whilst undertaking this process. I am middle aged man who served in the military and a fractured upbringing. I engaged with the process not to be diagnosed with ADHD but to get some answers or at least inform me of how the picture of my life is coloured and to help me on my journey. The initial outreach and communication were very good, prompt and seamless. I really struggled with going through the pre-assessment forms as this brough out a lot of childhood experiences I had (thought I had) processed and so then I had to go back again and again through this. I spoke with people at Care ADHD who talked me through the emotional aspect of this as I was not prepared for feeling the way I did. Moving forward to the assessment itself, I found the time with Heather to be relaxed, comfortable and not intrusive with respect to the pace, tone, and intonation of her questions. This really put my mind at ease and helped to try to articulate my answers in as a succinct way as possible. I can talk about her consulting style and wax lyrical – but I will say that she made the time very useful and she disarmed my internal conflict of nervousness and anticipation of the outcome. I cannot express my gratitude to Bobby, Heather and Hazel at this time for supporting me through this process and I look forward to the future with a little less trepidation. Thanks again. Karl

There are definitely some teething pains where people fall behind the cracks, so you need to chase them repeatedly, but the actual service they deliver is high quality and everyone I spoke to was helpful and kind. My assessor was called Fainah and I was appreciative of the sensitive and thoughtful manner with which she conducted the assessment. Thank you for a fast and affordable service.

Paid for an appointment on 10th September and then was sent the forms I needed to fill in. I had trouble with one of them and the team were very quick to help when I asked for help on 18th September. Almost 3 weeks later and I have not had any more correspondence on when I can be booked in after emailing and calling a couple of times (phone always rang out). I thought that I could skip the waiting lists with the NHS as I'm currently struggling with managing but I am disappointed and feel that I am being ignored. Edit: I've been contacted by Mark who was very lovely to talk to over the phone, and he has booked me in for later in the week with a clinician. Thank you for the quick action to resolve my issue :)

Excellent experience from the beginning. From the practice leader, Mark Pattison to the clinician Elizabeth Fabiyi, every interaction was met with an immediate response, thoughtful guidance and excellent outcome. Not only is it the most reasonably priced service of its kind, it is by far the one that gives the best patient experience. I highly recommend.

I was initially very pleased to find a clinic that offered a more affordable assessment option. Although I was a bit skeptical at first, I decided to give it a try, considering the long NHS wait times of over three years in my area. After registering and paying the fee, I promptly received a set of forms to complete. I filled out all the forms within a couple of days and notified the clinic about one form I was unable to complete. They kindly sent a replacement form, which I submitted immediately. However, since then, communication has been very limited. Two weeks went by without any updates, so I reached out politely to inquire about the status of my case, but I did not receive any response. While I completely understand that demand may be high and the clinic is likely very busy, it would be helpful and reassuring to receive acknowledgment of my email and occasional updates about the expected wait time for my assessment. So I'm not impressed with the service at the moment but I'm willing to change my mind in the future. EDIT: Following the clinic’s response to my original comment, I was contacted today and have an appointment booked for this week. Therefore, I’m happy to change my rating to 4 stars for now.

So far, I have had nothing but the best care. I got seen to super quickly, with a thorough assessment. My aftercare has been very informative with lots of options. Since starting titration period for medication I have I am finally able to do the things I want to do. I was seen by Elizabeth Fabiyi who was thorough in explaining the process. She made me feel at ease during the consult and made me feel supported. I am very grateful for all the help I have received and cannot recommend Care ADHD enough. it has been life changing :)

Amazing service. The process from start to finish was so much easier than I thought it would be. Instructions were clear and there was help offered at every stage. My assessor Heather really put me and ease whilst being very professional and made the whole experience worthwhile. I am a new mum and was struggling to get child care but she was super flexible and more than happy to do the call with my baby present. I was diagnosed with adhd and I am so happy I went with CARE ADHD for my assessment. The whole process from signing up to being diagnosed was super quick and easy. It was a great user experience from beginning to end. Any questions were always answered promptly and I felt super supported throughout. I had a really positive experience and would definitely recommend. It was so well priced, and is a lot cheaper than competitors but everything is very thorough and well thought through.

I have had such an incredible experience using Care ADHD. NHS waiting lists for ADHD assessments in my area are currently at 7 years. I had already been on the waiting list for 2 years when I was told this. I could not wait any longer. After much research into private assessments, I finally found Care ADHD who seemed a lot more reasonable financially. My enquiry and payment for assessment was on 03/07/2024. I was contacted by Sharon my care co-ordinator almost immediately who sent me the relevant questionnaires. By 10/07/2024 everything was uploaded and my assessment booked for 17/07/2024. This could actually have been quicker had I returned the forms sooner (those with ADHD procrastination know..lol). I had a thorough online assessment with Heather who really took the time to listen to me, and asked me what I wanted from the assessment. I received my diagnosis by the end of the assessment. And my report was sent to my NHS GP. On 22/07/2024 I had my first titration appointment with Elizabeth and within a few days I had my medication. I did need some adjustments made to my prescription before my 2nd titration appointment, but Sharon took care of this for me straight away. Nothing was too much trouble and the lead pharmacist called me and spent some time over the telephone to adjust my dosage. It is now 23/09/2024 and I have had my final titration appointment with Elizabeth. Within an hour she had sent my shared care agreement to my GP to continue my prescription with them. I cannot thank Sharon, Heather and Elizabeth enough and all those at Care ADHD who made this process such a positive experience. Since starting medication I have stopped binge eating/drinking, my BMI is getting closer to a healthy range, I can now focus at work and I am far less impulsive and even with the private prescription costs, have SAVED money for the first time in my life. But most importantly I am happier and living a healthier lifestyle. I cannot recommend Care ADHD enough for their incredible service and for being the reason behind making my life better. Thank you 🙂

Process made as painless and simple as possible.

Excellent service from beginning to end. After paying for my initial assessment, I was seen in the same week. I had my ADHD assessment in June with Ged Pattinson, who was warm, caring, supportive, and listened intently during my online assessment. I then chose to go through the treatment pathway for medication. Tsana Simmonds, the Pharmacist, was not only highly knowledgeable and professional but also kind and attentive. She went out of her way to answer my queries and concerns. Taking a new medication can be daunting, but I felt very well supported by Tsana during this process. The medication itself has been life-changing in terms of my focus, general mood, and overall well-being. Before medication, I often felt stuck and unable to complete tasks to the best of my ability. Being prescribed medication has dramatically improved in terms of helping me develop my career, routines, fitness, and better self-care habits. The whole process of getting a diagnosis and the following treatment pathway has been life-changing for the better and I cannot recommend CARE ADHD enough for all the support they have given me.

Initially I was sceptical that an online service could provide a full and thorough diagnosis at such a comparatively low price point, but I couldn't have been more happy with the service I have received. Jemma (care coordinator) has been friendly, professional and caring every time we have been in contact, she has been quick to answer any questions I've had and I've asked a lot. I went on to have an assessment with Rachel who was also fantastic, the assessment was very thorough, but didn't feel like a grilling, in fact it was a relaxed session where I felt I was able to explain myself and my symptoms without worry. I am now moving on to titration and wouldn't think twice about recommending CARE ADHD.

What can I say about CAREADHD but wow! From my initial searches and finding a company that was well priced and offered monthly payments, to first dealing with Sharon who was amazing, really helped guide me through the initial processes, then to my diagnosis discussion with Rachel who was so empathetic, and really understood me. I went to CARE ADHD when I realised that I would be waiting years to go through the NHS. My assessment was booked within days and my assessor was lovely, it felt more like a conversation than being in a clinical environment. After my diagnosis, I was unsure about pursuing medication but decided to give it a try. Tsana was so helpful throughout the titration process and helped me to find the medication that works best for me. She was very available, kind, and took my concerns seriously. It has only been a few months total and I have now had shared care accepted by my GP. Using CARE ADHD has changed my life. After 15 years of therapies and numerous diagnosis's of a whole list of issues, I put it to my doctor about the possibility that I have ADHD as all of the things people said I had was side effects of ADHD. After being told I would be waiting 3 to 5 years on an NHS waiting list I decided to look around for a private place. that wasn't to expensive and I stumbled along this place. This is the best decision I have ever made, the people I spoke to are all amazing, very helpful and willing to answer my 1000 questions. always go above and beyond. highly recommend to anyone thinking about the possibility of them having ADHD. this is a great way to get help for the future or just to get the peace of mind. Care ADHD have been wonderful from the start. During pre-assessment the Director was in meaningful contact and Rachel, who completed my assessment was an amazing balance of personable, professional and knowledgable. I rarely feel like I can be open and honest with care providers, but felt I could be myself, neither embarrassed nor judged by it. The high standard of care since assessment has been just the same. Tsana, the Head Pharmacist is so compassionate, professional and efficient. Nothing is too much, and her care and after care have been extraordinary. No course of treatment is pushed and it feels like all staff have an invested interest to help you as an individual get a better quality of life. Whilst I didn't follow through with treatment due to my RTC provider booking me a last minute slot, the service and communication I did receive from CARE was informative and friendly and I have no doubts that the assessments and titration services provided by them would just as good.

Excellent service, really professional right from diagnosis to medication. Fast and thorough. New company but offering an outstanding service. Jemma was brilliant as my care connector, Bianca the ADHD assessor was very compassionate, took her time and went well beyond my expectations, Tsana was also very supportive and friendly and talked me through the medications and process. Felt supported and I am really pleased that I decided to do this with careADHD. Next steps would be getting a shared care with GP so I do not have to pay private subscriptions charges, again care ADHD are super helpful and will help me with this process through the medication.

The assessor was friendly and took his time to explain things clearly and the care connectors have all been helpful and prompt in replying when I need it. It took about two weeks between payment and assessment, and by the next week I'd received my prescriptions from the postal pharmacy. Honestly, it was such a good experience compared to my first attempt at an ADHD diagnosis, the staff were super supportive and understanding of my other disabilities' impact on my symptoms and traits, never made me feel like my autism diagnosis would be a problem. Super validating to be told at the end of the session that I met the criteria for ADHD and everyone I interacted with was great! Really recommend for anyone who's trying to get a diagnosis, especially as the NHS services get really busy and sometimes don't go as in depth as this company does.

Once diagnosed this was accepted by my GP as is shared care after titration. Great value for money, great staff. During the assessment, Tracy, the assessor, made the process feel natural and comfortable. Even when discussing uncomfortable aspects of my past, I never felt judged or looked down on. Quick turnaround for appointments. Pleasant assessment process, found Heather to be very warm, friendly and encouraging. Positive diagnosis received on the call with report emailed over the same day. The best price I found for an adhd assessment. With negative reports about private providers i doubted authenticity. I was proved wrong when I received prompt replies from my emails before paying on the website and a thorough assessment which overran with a caring assessor. I am 37 in a good nhs career, but will hugely benefit from this journey. Look forward not back!

With there not being a huge amount of information about this provider, I was initially a bit hesitant, but from the first contact with Mark I felt at ease and knew this would be the right provider for me to find some answers about my suspected ADHD. Within 5 days of paying for my initial assessment and completing the required forms, I had my video call appointment with an assessor called James who was compassionate, thorough and provided great insight into my symptoms and confirmed my diagnosis. Just over a week later my first medical titration appointment has been carried out and my initial prescription is on its way to me. Cannot fault anyone I've dealt with so far and can honestly say it has been an incredibly positive experience. So if you are like me and you've been looking for some answers for a while and do not want to wait 3+ Years with the NHS, look no further than the team at CARE ADHD.

I had a positive experience from initial enquiry through to the assessment experience. The process is thorough and incorporates GP medical records, NICE recommended assessment tools and input from family/friends. Heather was highly skilled, personable and put me at ease. The only reason i have not rated 5 stars is because after the assessment which was very fairly priced, I am now in the position where I cannot afford treatment which is around £500 to start with, plus ongoing reviews and prescriptions. I asked my GP if they would prescribe but because they do not have a shared care agreement with private companies they are not covered by their insurance. My GP has put me on waiting list so they can help me but its 2-3 year wait to be seen and assessed in NHS and I will have to repeat whole assessment process again. GP explained that there is huge gap in NHS service and no funding is currently being provided to NHS in my area which leaves the situation I now find myself in where I have a diagnosis, I want help but can’t afford it. I a grateful to Care ADHD and I recommend them over other private providers for getting a diagnosis.

I can’t recommend Mark and he’s team highly enough! Before my assessment I had a lot of unanswered questions - why I had so many cognitive issues, why I felt the way I did and so many more. Such a pleasant and easy experience from first messaging them to the promptness of answers from everyone involved, to arranging an assessment and the actual assessment itself. From my first enquiry I felt supported and understood, still do. All staff involved in my assessment and aftercare processes have been professional with a warmth that , I feel, sets them apart from other providers (I made many enquiries😆). Yes, the assessment is more financially accessible to us working classers, but it's more than that. After 46years of chaos, trauma, daily discombobulation, drink, drugs, feeling useless and incapable ....I'm supported to feel MY kinda normal and choose MY management options because staff work alongside me and listen. Yesterday I started back on Elvanse after just over a year of cold turkey from my ADHD medication following an NHS issue. This is the third time in 10 years I've had to go back on titrations due to clinical errors by the NHS. Going private wasn't my first choice because of budget, so I was curious about the low-cost packages C.A.R.E offered whilst also skeptical if it was legit due to the high prices everywhere else. Simply put, I was absolutely blown away by the service I received from C.A.R.E. I referred in on Monday for Titration and by Friday my first month of medication had been delivered to my door, along with care instructions & monitoring forms. This is a higher level of service than I've had anywhere else. I can feel the version of myself that I know and love returning as I start on these medications. Tracy as my titration doctor was fantastic at listening to my needs, assessing what I was after, and setting reasonable and achievable targets - she was also very forgiving of my interruptions and fidgeting (something I'm finally getting under control!!) Similarly, Ari has been great at communicating and organizing the process. Without over sharing, it's fair to say this was a life changing service at a price that was almost half of most private ADHD clinics.

I have found The Centre for ADHD Research and Excellence by chance..I was once again looking for private assessment provider, in passed I would enquire with other provider and get all hyped up hoping to get assessment but lost interest quickly after realising it would take me ages to save up the funds to get assessment. From the start I was treated with dignity and respect. Everything was explained to me and all of my questions answered. I felt listened to, respected, understood. I now finally know there is nothing wrong with me, I am not lazy, I am nor stupid, I am not THE PROBLEM. It has changed my life so drastically and so quickly. A paper with diagnosis might not mean much to others but it literally changed my life. Things I got upset about (my inabilities) I find myself chuckle about now, I give myself more credit and I found that I begin to like myself. I am not hard on myself and I am happy. I focus on the good things a I don't fixate on my inability. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys. Not all hero's wear capes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It feels good to like myself !
