I want to be able to shorten the URL within the software. I have to generate QR codes daily for clients. Using the free applications, I find that I am limited on what I can do and how many I can generate. ElkQR helps me ensure that all the QR codes I generate are still working and I can track them.

Having all of these features within this application has simplified my process and allows me to reuse materials - which translates to saving me time & money. I had a little trouble with the first QR code setup, but once I understood how it was supposed to work it was pretty quick and painless. The KB or available content around custom domains could be improved - we are still not entirely certain if we need multiple custom domains or if the single one will fit our use case. We are providing tap and scan cards as part of the service offering - which requires us to have flexible, reusable QR codes vs having to print new cards for each campaign.

I love that ElkQR offers a built-in tool to build About Me/Link In Bio/Bio pages! This is something I've never seen in a QR code/shortlink tool. There are many different styles available, and for multiple purposes/audiences. Another ElkQR feature I haven't seen in many QR code tools is the ability to add a company logo and change the QR code's colors, shape and style. If the short link or QR needs to be edited at any time, this is easily accomplished. Custom domains are very easy to set up. Also, the data/analytics are fantastic. The dashboard provides a great high level overview or clicks, sources, countries and you can dive even deeper when selecting individual links. All reporting can be exported to CSV if you need to create your own reports. Support is great, with a good collection of knowledge-base articles. I have not needed to contact support yet, but I am not worried based on the excellent communication. Recently customers were sent notifications of updates and maintenance downtimes, a very proactive thing I wish more companies did. Overall I am very impressed with ElkQR, highly recommended. A few screens in the QR code creation process and some pre-built landing pages have accessibility challenges, mostly color combinations that need more contrast. This was brought to the attention of ElkQR, who reported that this would be addressed in an upcoming iteration. I am very encouraged by the welcoming of ideas on their feedback board. I wanted to be able to provide my clients QR codes and reporting on links. In the past, I'd have to print the stats to a PDF, customize the report to remove vendor branding and then send to my client. This was so much work. ElkQR solves this in just a few clicks! They have a great tool for sharing reports that allows you to set custom colors, logo and branding You can even use your own domain (white label) and even add footer text. This along has saved me hours of time.
