I had a wonderful experience with Aquatic Adventures. They completed the two-year inspection on my sons’ scuba gear quickly and professionally. Michael was especially attentive; he took the time to answer all of our questions and made the whole process smooth. Best place to begin scuba diving! The owner and instructor Mike is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating being able to work and teach divers from beginner to experienced. Being a beginner and veteran myself I was able to do my open water through dive4vets and would recommend this place to anyone interesting in starting their scuba journey or those wanting to advance their skill set.

I inquired about getting certified and he offered me the Vet program which provides open water cert for free. Had a great weekend with him and his team of instructors. Highly recommend.

They took me in as a fresh out of high school student and built me up to what I am now today, a Scuba Diving Instructor. I’ve done most of my certifications through Aquatic Adventures since 2024 and could not be happier. It’s a great shop, great instructors, and fair prices on equipment and training. Could not be happier.

I recently was looking to re-certify for open water diving. I saw that Aquatic Adventures was close and contacted them. I have NASDS which was bought by SSI back in the 90’s. Apparently SSI either lost the records or there has been a fire and the records were destroyed. Since I lost my TIC certification card, SSI would not replace my card unless I completed one of their courses from the beginning. When I contacted Mike at Aquatic Adventures he had me send my diver information I still had on file & my Veteran information as I am a Disabled Veteran. Mike introduced me to a program that helped Disabled Vets get scuba Certified (re-certified in my case) and the cost was covered.The program is a God send as I can testifying Scuba Diving is absolutely therapeutic for mental and physical health. I also went ahead and paid out of pocket for two new certification classes: Deep Diver, & Night, limited visibility Diver) Through SDI Scuba Divers International. SDI is one of a handful of recognized scuba diving certification schools. After completing the courses online, we took a trip to Blue Hole in Santa Rosa NM for certification dives. It was so nice to get back in scuba gear and back into the world of water. 5 Stars is a rating very well earned by Aquatic Adventures. The educational information and passion they have for teaching and ensuring safety and enjoyment of Scuba education is beyond the standard required. I absolutely highly recommend everyone who is interested in a new view on life to get Scuba certified and have Aquatic Adventures as your teachers and dive shop.

Mike Robison is an incredible instructor! I went to Aquatic Adventures to train for my HUET (helicopter underwater escape test) and within 2 sessions I went from being terrified to jump into the pool to being able to stay underwater with weights! Mike is the perfect balance of patient and firm. He understands your concerns and struggles and shows you first hand how to improve and control your fear. Mike is a great person all around. 10/10 I would definitely recommend.

Taking this scuba diving course was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! From start to finish, the experience was incredibly well-organized, safe, and fun. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about diving, which made learning both easy and enjoyable. The theory sessions were clear and informative, and the practical dives were nothing short of amazing. I felt supported every step of the way, even when I was a bit nervous at first. By the end of the course, I felt confident and well-prepared to dive independently. The underwater world we explored was breathtaking — the peaceful feeling of being submerged in a whole new world. I came away not just with a certification, but with unforgettable memories and a new passion for diving. Highly recommend this course to anyone who’s ever been curious about scuba diving. Mike Robison is the best Dive Instructor I've ever seen. Not only does he certify beginning divers, but he certifies intermediate and advanced divers for many types of certifications. Furthermore, he maintains a network of other Instructors and Master Divers that dive with him when training students, and on personal/instructor dives. This guy has West Texas locked down and probably runs a better program than those of seaside sites or water-abundant sites.
