Very clean and well-organized clinic. However, the assistant, Melissa Sanoff, appeared indifferent and lacked professionalism. I would recommend seeing a different provider.

Fantastic experience at the Plainview location. Every one was really a pleasure to deal with. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. I had never been had never been there before luckily but now I know that I have an excellent option if I do need to go again. Dr Greco is a terrific Dermatologist. She diagnosed my issues quickly and made my office visit worth my time. An added bonus was that I made an appointment and it was timely.

I am writing to formally complain about the unprofessional and aggressive behavior I experienced from your staff, particularly the manager, Evan and the front desk staff. My insurance company contacted your office multiple times in an attempt to coordinate coverage for a prescribed medication. During these calls, your staff was reportedly aggressive and uncooperative, making it unnecessarily difficult for my insurance to assist with the prescription coverage. Additionally, Evan, the manager, was extremely rude and dismissive during this process. Rather than helping resolve the situation, his behavior escalated the issue and demonstrated a lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. This was especially frustrating given that the doctor has refused to submit a required prior authorization, leaving me without access to a medication I was prescribed. As a patient, I should not be caught between an unresponsive provider and an unprofessional office staff. This experience has caused unnecessary stress and delays in my care. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and not happen again to other patients. Will never come here again

We had a very bad experience with the front desk staff, my doctor had sent a referral last week for an appointment and they said they had received it, however the next time we went they told us there was no referral and when we tried to tell them they received it prior they told us they did not receive it and we tried to get another referral from our doctor however the manager Evan asked us to leave the office and they told us we would not be seen by the doctor.Very unpleasant experience,do not recommend.

I feel Dr. Greco is a very knowledgeable dermatologist. If she sees something on your body that looks suspicious she will remove it and immediately have It sent out for a biopsy testing. Which was in my case was done for me. She referred me to a mohs specialist who took care of the cancerous skin growth on my arm. I highly.recommend her.

Walk-In Dermatology is the best! Just had my annual appointment and it was perfect. I was called in to the exam room before my appointment time. The front desk and office staff are so courteous and kind. Dr Greco made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. I was not rushed out. I have also just ‘walked in’. I was not made to feel unwelcome, or rushed. All of my questions and concerns were answered. Love this practice!

Our first visit and we arrived almost at closing. It was crowded but my daughter got in within 15 minutes. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. The dr (Greco) was friendly, listened and took care of my daughter's issue. We will definitely be back!

I wish I could give it more stars. This is my first time here. I walked in asking if I could make an appointment. The receptionist said if I wouldn't mind waiting 10 minutes I could be seen today. I filled out the necessary paperwork and within minutes I was seen by Melissa. She was so pleasant. She took the time to explain everything to me. Everything was so easy. The office staff was so rude especially the manager. There has been an on going issue with a copay since 2022 that they are claiming was unpaid. This is very suspicious since you can’t see the Dr until you pay your copay. I told the manager it was paid and probably their error and she insisted I pay it again or can’t see Dr. I was appalled! She then told me I should pay my bills on time and that I was rude. I left there and went to my bank and there it was a $45 copay withdrawn from my account. What surprised me even more is that the Dr didn’t get involved. I thought Drs were there to help people. Oh yeah that’s right it’s just a money business now. I do not recommend using them I could only imagine how many procedures they have done that weren’t necessary. Money hungry fakes!!!!

Today I saw Melissa for an emergency which turned out to be a plant allergy and I could not have been more grateful for her. Will continue coming her for my dermatology needs.

I made a 3:50 appt and was taken on time . The dermatologist took care of what I needed . I was very happy with the service I received. The office staff was great . I arrived early and said I didn’t want to just sit and wait . She told me to go out and just be back by this time .

I’m usually the one writing positive reviews on Google, but I had a very disappointing experience here. I walked in to have a spot on my skin checked to see if it might be cancerous. Thankfully, it wasn’t — and I was billed for the visit, which I expected and was fine with. However, during the appointment, the dermatologist offered to apply dry ice to the spot to help it shed. I specifically asked if there would be any additional cost, and she assured me there wouldn’t be. Later, I was surprised to receive a bill for over $200, labeled as a “surgery.” I called the billing department multiple times on different days and never received a call back. I even went in person, and the receptionist basically told me “that’s just the way it is.” When I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to, like a manager or doctor, she said no — only billing, which still wouldn’t return my calls. I felt misled, dismissed, and that the situation was handled very poorly. I had been coming here for a while and previously liked the service, but after this experience, I will not be returning. If you don’t want surprise or hidden costs, I’d recommend going elsewhere!!! Very dishonest.

After years of seeing the same dermatologist, I was forced to find a new one when my insurance changed. I ended up coming here, out of convenience for my son, but started coming myself because of the convenience. I was able to schedule my annual physical and walk in for what I thought was whiteheads which ended up being Sebaceous hyperplasia. Not only did the doctor take the time to explain everything to me, she drew a little diagram about it. If you’re looking for quick, efficient, friendly doctor, Who won’t give you the “new patient wait list” this is the place.

I went there today. The service was not good. The doctor who came to check me was checking me as if I had some kind of contagious disease. She was standing far away and talking. She didn't even look at me properly.

I first have to say that a walk-in dermatology “urgent care” is a brilliant idea and the fact that they take most insurances is amazing. All the staff were extremely nice from the receptionist, to the medical assistant and lastly Melissa, the PA who saw me. The staff were all very informative. I walked in and was seen within 25 minutes. I HIGHLY recommend this practice for all your dermatology needs and concerns.

It was ok but did not completely empty the cyst so I had to go to a hand orthopedic. I think it could have been completed by the PA but maybe she did not feel that she should drain it completely. It was pretty much the same procedure with more pressure.

Went on a Saturday walk-in no appointment. Everyone in the waiting room was being attended at a great pace. My assistant and doctor were super kind and listened to me, understood what I needed and gave me clear follow up instructions. Front desk was very prompt as well. Amazing experience with kids! I came with 2 toddlers on 6/04 and am usually a bit nervous as a lot of places aren’t that great with kids. I packed a bag full of toys and was ready to sing nursery rhymes if needed to keep them entertained for a long wait in the waiting room. The front desk staff was amazing and even let the toddlers “help out” with the admin tasks. They had a little treasure chest with toys and we even got some swag bags filled with sun protection accessories. Wait was short. They took care of my son efficiently. I will choose them for my skin checks and any derm needs. Highly recommend!!!

Magic! I got there with an allergic reaction itching all over. She prescribed me a cream and it was like magic, I finally stopped scratching myself. The front desk is kind, polite and friendly. The Dr was respectful, with an amazing bedside manner, she listened to me and explained everything so nicely. I felt heard, understood and well taken care of. Sometimes Dermatologist dismiss dark skin patients because you can not see as much as you would the same thing on a light skin. That was not the case here.

Had an appointment so there was no wait time. The PA and her assistant were very nice and friendly. The PA explained everything and didn’t mind all my questions. After I left, I remembered something I wanted to ask so I went back. I had to wait a little bit, but she saw me again without hesitation. All staff were very friendly.

Went here for a rash and saw Dr Greco. She said it was eczema and prescribed a cream. Cream did not help. Saw my PCP for a different issue and I showed him the rash. All he said was go to a different dermatologist, that’s not what eczema looks like. Went to Dr. Brooks, Manhasset, who also said not eczema. Took a biopsy and found I have a rare auto immune disease. Don’t waste your time at this place.

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. The front desk employees are rude for no reason. The manager backs up her front desk employees. As you can see from all of their responses to the negative reviews. They believe they can do no wrong. I was in with my 11 year old because she had a terrible rash. I had called prior and was told to just “walk in” Then when I get there I’m told I need a referral. This is the first time my daughter has ever been to see a specialist. I let the front desk know prior to me coming in that my child has United health care community. And she said nothing. I asked to speak to the manager and this blonde woman starts yelling at me. Telling me I’m a grown woman and I should know if I need a referral and throws myself and my poor 11 year old who was suffering in pain out of the office. . I have this all on camera. So don’t bother responded and saying I’m lying. I will post the video next. These people have no compassion. Don’t come here!!

I walked into the office with a terrible itchy and painful rash. Dr. G and her staff are welcoming, friendly, and compassionate. I went to see Melissa on December 18th with a wart on my finger. It was very painful and irritating. She froze the wart and the infection went away. At first it really hurt but after a few days of keeping it wrapped, the wart went away. I would highly recommend Melissa and walk in dermatology.

Best thing I can say is the wait was not too long, about 20 mins past my appt time. Absolute waste of time and money. If you want a plastic surgeon referral they can provide you that. Otherwise, find a less “cosmetic focused” dermatologist. Very hard nowadays.

It’s been 30 days since my original visit with Melissa Sanoff-Wiener. My biopsy results came back positive for basal cell skin cancer. Melissa was extremely kind and compassionate with me. She also took the time to find me a MOHS surgeon within my network and assisted me in getting an appointment for the following week. Kendra at the front desk was also helpful in putting together my chart and biopsy results and sending them over to the surgeons office. My overall experience with everyone at Walk-in Dermatology and Plainview was terrific. Thanks.

Excellent walk in dermatologist! I went in on a Friday and I waited 40 minutes to get seen. The doctor was so sweet I wish I remembered her name. She gave me a prescription to help with my vitiligo. Highly recommend this office.

Dr. Greco & staff are amazing! I originally went as a walk in patient for a symptom. I now use Dr Greco as my go to.

I scheduled an appointment for my daughter online which was very efficient. Then, a few days before my appointment, I was called and told they didn’t have my referral. My doctors office said they did send it and had the reference ID. The woman who answered had an attitude and didn’t seem to want to help me after going in circles between them and the doctors office. I asked to speak to a manager and never received a call back. Very poor management at the office and would not recommend this office due to that. I luckily found a great office in Massapequa that scheduled me right away, and funny enough I had no issues with my referral.

I like the concept of walk-in or make an appointment. I have done both and had good results with the walk in with a short wait time. I have also texted questions and had a timely response. The doctors and staff are friendly and professional. I recommend both Plainview and Greenvale locations.

When I made an appointment for 9am, the girl said to come 5 minutes early. When I reached there, the door was locked and the two girls inside didn’t even have the courtesy to come and at least talk to me. There was another lady waiting outside too. When finally one girl opened the lock she didn’t have the courtesy to say Hi and open the door for us. She was talking rudely too. If somebody’s working at the reception is this the way you welcome your clients. We pay for our services. The esthetician who did my facial was super nice. Next time I’ll go see her at the Greenvale location. My first and last time at the Plainview location

Visited first time today - front desk staff was very friendly and told me when to return for a walk-in so I did not have to wait the 40 minute wait time. Excellent professional quick review of my concerns in a clean and new space........ considering a normal appointment at most dermatologists would never be same time, to wait just 40 minutes without notice is amazing. Highly recommend.

I was a walk in with a concern about a spot on my face. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The doctor understood my concerns and took care of the issue on the spot. I was treated and out the door in less than 30 mins. If I could give them 100 stars I would. I HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you!!

They keep sending me invoices while I already fully paid on the day of my visit. When I visited them again to complaint, they said it was a system error and can ignore. However, I still get the bills by mail! What if they screw up my credit score?? Why would I waste my time to complain again again. If you don't any other choice but to visit this office, you should make sure to get a receipt with a signature of the receptionist stating that the treatment was FULLY paid.

This was my first time at this office. My appointment was for my yearly full body scan. Everyone at the office was wonderful! I saw Melissa, and she was professional, confident and so nice! I felt completely comfortable the whole time. I had all my questions and concerns answered without feeling rushed through my appointment. She didn’t pressure me into doing anything I didn’t want to do, but also went over all my options. And I was in and out in less than an hour! 4 stars because of the rude staff member Nicole. I visited the office because my son had a breakout on his skin. We explained why we were there and Nicole at the front desk was very nasty and unprofessional in every way. Her body language and demeanor were tasteless and her customer service was lacking to say the least. She told us we’d have a two hour wait and as I began to explain that I had called ahead of time, she walked away without allowing me to finish nor did she excuse herself. Fortunately, I was able to speak with the manager who was lovely and took care of everything. She made sure we were seen and apologized for her rude staff member. We saw Dr. Greco who was absolutely amazing. We will definitely return as I feel my son is in good hands. ☺️

Horrible customer service by the front desk staff ....I went there as a walk in patient I called a day before to confirm that I can come in the next day. The front desk treated me with disrespect and bad attitude. So I walked out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Professional, clean and personable. I walked in at 9 am and was out in no time. Very kind employees.

Walked-in. Signed in. Told about 15-25min wait. Patiently and quietly waiting as many others called in. I politely asked how much longer at the 45 min mark. Was told I was next. Though, 3 more people called in next. I told them I was leaving and the woman at the front desk got defensive. I just simply told her waiting an hour+ was becoming inappropriate. She attempts to explain to me the system, but I had already lost too much time at this place and had to go. I have a feeling if they don't have the office management down then it's likely the same problem with the medical - I likely dodged a bullet not seeing what would have likely been a PA. Don't waste your time at this place.

If I could I would give this business NO stars . I called this office today to get an appointment, was told I can just walk in, but there would be a wait of at least an hour - which I was fine with, before I drove there ( about 40 mins away) I asked the girl that answered the phone if the doctor was able to perform a specific procedure TODAY and was told by her absolutely not a problem. Once I got to the office once again I was reminded there was a wait . I sat there patiently for close to 2 hours . Finally it was my turn to be seen , doctor walked in and I explained to her what I needed . The doctor informed me that this specific procedure could NOT done today and I need to schedule another appointment. Just to clarify … I sat in that waiting area for close to 2 hours to be told to make another appointment. I expressed my frustration to the doctor as well as staff in the front - but all I got in return was excuses . Blame put on a person that supposedly was there earlier and answered my call . The “manager” said that the girl was just a receptionist so she can’t make that decision … HMMMM if that’s the case -then either train your employees better or tell them to get up and ask someone that knows the answers … NOT BS me on the phone and waste my time sitting in your waiting room for NOTHING ! Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone . If response to your reply to my review … then TELL your receptionist to give out ACCURATE information and IF she DOESN’T know the answer to a question being asked have her ask someone who knows OR say she doesn’t know . The procedure I needed is NOT a lengthy procedure … so don’t even make it seem like I walked in there and expected to be operated on . Come on ! Also YOUR office DID NOT diagnose anything - I walked in with a diagnoses from someone else already ! You guys wasted my time today . TERRIBLE !

It was a Saturday morning and I had a serious itchy rash that was progressively getting worse. From the moment I got there, (was a walk in) the staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. The doctor really listened, looked at my history and prescribed me steroids, write out a schedule for me of other meds and biopsied to see if it is a medication related rash. She answered every question and was reassuring. I will be using them as my new dermatologist.

Dr. Greco is a gem. She’s patient, caring, attentive and knowledgeable. I’m pretty anxious with doctors but she was a pleasure to be seen by. I wish she could be my general Doctor. Front desk is friendly.
