Die Fotos auf der Website entsprechen 1:1 dem Haus. Dieses Mal waren im "The Old Schoolhouse". Danke liebe Familie Diosee! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder! We have now been to Ireland several times and stayed in cottages rented and managed by Kerry Coastal Cottages. Antje Diosee's service was once again very warm and friendly. You immediately feel welcome. The houses are typically Irish and simply quaint and cosy. The photos on the website are an exact representation of the house. This time we stayed at ‘The Old Schoolhouse’. Thank you, dear Diosee family! We would love to come back again!

Highly recommended! ... Valentia island is one of the nicest places to visit in ireland. House is very spacious , private and has the best views of the skelligs😎. Very accessible to knightstown and portmagee.

We had a wonderful time at Grandads House. The house was immaculate. The garden is lovely to sit in, the kitchen has everything you need. The views over the water are stunning. You are 5/10 minutes walking to Skellig Chocolate factory and St.Finians Bay beach. Short drives to Ballinskelligs, Portmagee And Valencia Island. We will definitely be back. Großartiger Ausblick durch Panoramafenster auf Klippen, das Wasser und Berge. Ein Traum....wir sind begeistert. Auch von unseren Gastgebern, Antje und Renee Diosee sind wir begeistert. 5 Stars This is my 3rd year booking stay cations through Kerry Coastal Cottages. Their website and availabilty chart is very easy to navigate. Antje is very responsive to any queries and manages your bookings very well. Rene meets you on arrival and ensures that you settle into the holiday home. Each house is very clean and nicely decorated, all their kitchens are very well stocked with utensils, crockery and cutlery and information books are provided of full activities in the area. I found that when we visited local restaurants/shops and people enquired where we were staying, everybody we met were very complimentary of Antje and Rene. Overall a fantastic company operating in a very special part of Ireland.

We spent a very enjoyable week in Neidin in late August. The service provided by Antje of Kerry Coastal Cottages was excellent, from booking the property to meeting us on arrival. The property itself was perfect, with great walks from the doorstop and beautiful views over Dingle bay. We will definitely book our next trip to Kerry with Kerry Coastal Cottages.

We had a fabulous stay in Grandad's House, Finian's Bay last week. The house was lovely and quaint with spectacular views of the bay and of the Skelligs. Rene and Antje were a pleasure to deal with, couldn't recommend them enough! :)

Sehr hilfsbereit und großzügig in schweren Lagen.

Great location, very clean and comfortable house. Only issue is that there is no shower curtain in the 'wet' bathroom , which means that it gets flooded the whole time and therefore needs to be continuously mopped, which is a bit of an inconvenience!

We stayed with Kerry Coastal Cottages at St Finians Bay and the whole experience was excellent. The booking was easy and Antje was very helpful pre-arrival, and Rene was very efficient and got us quickly settled in upon arrival and on departure. The house was lovely - old but very charming and very well equipped and maintained - and the bay is beautiful. With an unforgettable boat trip to see the Skelligs we had a brilliant week and will definitely return.

A charming and idyllic cottage set in a stunning location, overlooking Puffin island and the Skelligs. This place ticked all the boxes, very peaceful, an awesome backdrop and 10 mins away from Portmagee.

Wir waren für eine Woche im geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus Draiocht na. Scelg mit fantastischen Blick auf Puffin Island und die Skelligs - unglaublich. Die Betreuung durch Antje u. René waren von der Buchung bis zum letzten Tag hervorragend. Das Wetter war ein Traum, wir hatten die ganze Woche Sonne, Sonne, Sonne. Deshalb konnten wir draußen frühstücken und auch Abendessen auf der Terrasse mit dem grandiosen Ausblick. Wir sind große Fans von Valentia Island, dort waren wir schon einige Male immer mit schönen Häusern und super Betreuung.

We spent a week in South Kerry in a beautiful cottage that we rented through Kerry Coastal Cottages . René & Antje are an absolute pleasure to deal with they are such lovely people. I called Antje several times with many questions as I was keen to find the right cottage that would work with our 3 year old. She gave me good advice on the right house to pick and was extremely helpful with all my questions. The house was very clean, lots of fresh towels and tea towels. It also had a lovely open fire to relax beside in the evenings. We had spectacular views of Finian’s Bay also. I would highly recommend Kerry Coastal cottages.

We visited St Finians Bay in June & August 2021. Antje & Rene are fantastic to communicate with from start to finish in the house rental process. The houses are fantastic and as for the views they are simply wonderful. It’s really an off the grid holiday. I would highly recommend renting houses from Kerry coastal cottages.

We stayed in Draiocht na Scealg for two weeks in July 2020. The views from the property are just amazing and on a clear day which we had quite a few of it was nothing short of spectacular. Getting to the house is a bit of a task and would need an experienced driver to drive the roads. But the directions given were perfect. The location is very quiet and isolated which we like but if not used to this type of isolation it may feel uncomfortable especially at night time. On a clear night though fabulous Stars & Sky out over the sea. The house was one of the best equipped houses we ever stayed in during our visits to Kerry for over 25 years although there was no microwave oven which would have been handy. The main living room in the house was in bad need of a clean as the furniture (a leather suite) was filthy and we were not comfortable using it so we avoided this area which was a real shame. All other areas inside and out were great. Beds were good, Kitchen good, Utility room and tv room and bathrooms all good. There were no curtains on the windows which again at night time could be a bit disconcerting if you were of a nervous disposition. Our hosts Antje & Rene could not have been more helpful from the beginning of the booking right through to check out. Overall we would we would recommend this property to stay in and if the cleaning and curtains issue was dealt with we would have given it the full five stars Brian & Debbie from Dublin Ireland

Carraiglea cottage N0.1 in kells is an absolutely beautiful Thatched cottage. Exactly what i expected and wanted, i love thatched cottages!!! The interior is georgeous!!! Bedrooms are perfect, kitchen is lovely, everything you need is there.I really loved the stone flooring.The sitting room is so cosy and i like the stove fire,it heats up the room in no time!! The views from the cottage for me sealed the deal, THEY ARE BREATHTAKING!!!!! Also the clear sky night is amazing with all the stars and is so beautiful.The peace and quiet is great too. I am looking forward to staying in the cottage again next year for my holidays.

We spent a week in the St Brendans cottage in June 2021 and really enjoyed the experience. We toured the area and visited many of the wonderful locations in the area during our stay. Most of the South Kerry attractions are close by and you could choose to walk to many of the local attractions or jump in your car to access the wonderful towns, cliff drives, beaches, hill walks and wildlife abundant in the area. The cottage itself was like a home from home. We found it very spacious and equipped to the highest of standards in every aspect. If you wanted to come here and just relax and spend some down time in the cottage you would not find your comfort compromised in any way. We were looked after by Antje during our stay and she was helpful in every way. I would not hessitate to recomend this cottage.

Loved this house. The best thing of course was the view of the Skelligs from the living room, absolutely stunning. I spent many hours sitting on the couch just looking at it. Beautiful area, loads to do. The house was cosy and well equipped. Antje was professional and very helpful. Hope to go back some day. 100% recommend

Seit Jahren sind wir sehr zufrieden! Tolle Häuser mit Kamin, wunderschöne Umgebung, aber nette deutsche Betreuung durch René und Antje Diosee. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen! Wenn man auf Valencia Island ist, sollte man auf jeden Fall einmal beim "Candlemaker" vorbeidüsen, der superschöne handgemachte Kerzen verkauft. Bevor man zu den "Cliffs of Moher" fährt, sollte man sich auf dem Weg zum St. Finians Bay, den traumhaften Blick von den Klippen vor Ort anschauen. Der Leuchtturm von Valencia ist auch immer einen Besuch wert, wenn man sich eine tolle Brandung anschauen möchte. (Tidezeiten beachten!). Frühaufstehern empfehle ich, auf den Geokaunmountain zu fahren, um sich den Sonnenaufgang anzuschauen. (Sonnenaufgangszeit googlen!) Immer eine Reise wert!

We had a fantastic week in Carraiglea no. 1 this summer. The house was really cosy and traditional. As we had a mixed week of weather, the wood burning stove was much appreciated. The house was really well stocked with everything we needed, and the owner was so helpful in providing some extra baby equipment we requested. The house is beautifully situated with stunning views over Dingle bay from the master bedroom. The lovely garden was safe for the kids and really well tended.

We had a wonderful time in the Boathouse. The fact that this is our 3 year in a row speaks for itself. Antje is welcoming and efficient. Our Dog bess also loves it and always feels at home

We (a couple) stayed in Neidin Cottage in August of this year. The original cottage has been renovated to a high standard throughout and is spacious (for 2) and cosy. Open plan, it has a large extension with a large window overlooking Dingle Bay. While the cottage is a little out of the way it is ideally located for exploring Valentia Island. We visited and would recommend the Skelligs Experience, Geokaun Mountain (highest point on the island), Valentia lighthouse (need good brakes for the steep descent), Knightstown, Valentia Candles (bit of a trek off the road), Portmagee and further afield to the Kerry Cliffs, St Finnians Bay and the Chocolate Factory!! Of course no visit to the area is complete without a trip to the Skelligs. And we still had time to relax in the cottage!! Antje and Rene looked after us well with recommendations and advice. The cottage has all mod cons and was warm in the late summer sunshine. The stars were amazing. We would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a staycation break with plenty to do. Joni & Sean

We stayed in Sceilig Mor on Valentia Island in August. Beautiful house, even more beautiful view of the Skelligs islands from it. Antje was a great host, very responsive to queries in the weeks before our stay. Would recommend this company (and house) to everyone. Would be very interested in returning again.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely, well maintained house. It was spacious and well designed with every comfort and the best equipped kitchen I have seen in a holiday home. It was relaxing and so roomy that even when the sun didn't shine, the whole family including Grandad had their own space to chill out indoors. Ardbrae is an amazing house with stunning views and absolutely spotless. With 4 bedrooms it was perfect for a family of 6 and Antje and René were very attentive and helpful hosts. The wildlife in the garden and the cattle in the neighbouring fields added to the atmosphere of this unique location.

A wonderful stay in Coastguard 3 which has everything you need for self catering for a whole family. We were very well looked after.

Wir waren in zwei Häusern von Kerry coastal cottages. Einfach traumhaft. Die erste Woche in Tecs House begann schon traumhaft, die Blicke auf die Skelligs, der gemütliche Wohnraum, das lichtdurchflutete Esszimmer. Wir haben uns alle sofort wohl gefühlt. Und auch zu fünft war es in Tecs House nie zu eng. Die Küche ist absolut perfekt ausgestattet, so dass wir fast jeden Abend gekocht haben. Die zweite Woche in Kathleens Ocean View war auch umwerfend, der Blick aus dem Sunroom ist meditativ. Hier sassen wir Stunden und schauten auf das Meer, die kleinen Buchten und den Hafen. Sahen wir die Ebbe kam, der Strand größer wurde und dann wieder die Flut den Strand fast verschluckte. Für mich persönlich war dieser Blick ein Highlight. Kathleen und Familie sind sehr hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Hier haben wir zum ersten Mal Enteneier gegessen. Beide Häuser sind sehr gepflegt, sauber, die Betten bequem, beim nächsten Irland-Urlaub werden es wohl wieder die zwei Häuser sein.

Absolutely loved every second of our time at the house. It was like a dream! We spent a week there for our 25th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Kerry Coastal Cottages were fantastic to deal with from start to finish; very professional and very courteous. The house was immaculate. It was our first time renting a property with this company and we are already making our booking for next year!

First off I would like to thank Antje for her contribution to making my stay on Valentia so great. From the initial enquiry, through arrival and departure I had no issues what so ever. Very professionally handled. The Boathouse, where I stayed, is a beautiful property. Located just off the road to Churchtown, its none the less a very quiet location. The cottage itself is extremely well kept and maintained. Its a beautiful open plan layout. There's a lovely dining are with a view of the mountains and a very comfortable living area. Bedroom is in the loft, best nights sleep I've had in a long time! I found the property a great base/starting point for cycling and hiking. There are plenty of safe roads and lanes around the house for an evening walk/stroll. Valentia and surrounding area is a photographers playground! Thankfully I had the weather to get a few days of photography in. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property, I enjoyed it that much. I would have no hesitation in dealing with Antje and Kerry Costal Cottages again. I look forward to coming back in 2022. Thanks again.

We had a fabulous stay at Salmon Leap, the house was really lovely and the view was spectacular. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. Antje was great to deal with and so helpful. Stunning! We stayed in "Skelligs Retreat" for a week, and were lucky to have beautiful sunny weather for most of it. No place I would rather be when the sun is shining than the Kingdom of Kerry, and I could never get tired of the views of the Skellig Islands from the house! The house was very clean, comfortable and in great order. We had left a few items behind and they posted them to us a few days later. No internet or WiFi, and quite remote, but this is what we were looking for as a real "retreat". Great place to stay, and I will be coming back.

The Reencaheragh property provides spacious accommodation, with plenty of room for 6 people. The kitchen/living/dining area is great for relaxing in with magnificent views of Valentia island and the Kerry coast from all windows. Great location near a cove and Portmagee village.

We are just back from staying a week in Ballynabloun and had a fantastic time in St. Finians Bay. One of the best houses we have ever rented in Ireland. Antje was great to deal with during the booking process and Rene checked us in and out and was so helpful. House was fab with everything that you could want in a home from home. Great view. Das Old Boiler Haus ist wirklich ungelogen eine traumhafte Ferienwohnung mit Meerblick. Auch mit klasse Ausflugstipps von der Vermietung. Ein Urlaub in Kerry ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Würd gern nochmal da hin ;)

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Coisdoona, Saint Finian’s Bay. The view from the house out to the Skelligs and the surrounding bay is stunning while the modern, traditional style cottage provided every comfort and convenience for our family holiday. The house is beautifully situated- just a short stroll from the small local beach which is popular with surfers. While the remote and unspoiled setting is part of its charm, St Finian’s Bay is within driving distance of the nearest villages, such as Port Magee, with its local shop and eateries. Coisdoona offered good value and the service was both professional and responsive.

We had a wonderful two-week stay in Draiocht na Scealg, one of the Kerry Coastal Cottages. The house was exactly as advertised but even more charming and well furnished. René and Antje were flexible and responsive whenever we needed anything. We're already planning another visit soon...

Twelve years I have been holidaying in Valentia and I can honestly say that my stay in Dohilla with Kerry Coastal Cottages is the best. During Covid-19 I felt very safe and reassured by the measures they have taken. I would recommend Kerry Coastal Cottages for anyone wanting to holiday in South Kerry...you won't regret it.

Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war herrlich unkompliziert, und auch während des Aufenthalts ist Antje immer per Handy zu erreichen, falls etwas sein sollte. Das Artist Studio auf Valentia Island ist ideal für ein oder zwei Leute, unglaublich gemütlich, sehr sauber, und mit dem fantastischsten Ausblick der ganzen Westküste. Die Preise sind fair und transparent. Ich habe diesen Anbieter jetzt schon mehreren Freunden empfohlen.

We stayed at Old Golden House for two weeks this August. To say that the property and the service from Andje and Rene was wonderful would be an understatement. Everything from assessing availability of properties to booking and enjoying our holiday was seamless. The property was spotlessly clean and everything worked. All that we needed was provided and made for a most relaxing stay. I cannot recommend Kerry Coastal Cottages enough and I am already looking forward to booking my next Kerry holiday with them.

Coisdoona is a lovely summer house with all the mod cons for family catering. Excellent location for walking to the beach or swimming off the pier. Beautiful views of the bay and the spectacular Skelligs. Company were excellent to deal with and our contact Margaret was very helpful and posted some lost property to us which arrived safely - thanks Margaret !

We stayed at St Brendans holiday cottage for a week in July, 2020. The cottage is modern, well equipped and very comfortable. The location on Valentia Island is great. Stunning scenery with many options for walks, day trips and hospitality. Antje was very accomodating and efficient both through the booking process and our stay.
