What an absolute gem! We planned to stay 3 nights and ended up staying for 5. This park is an a lovely location, and within walking distance to shops. The park backs onto the river with a beautiful walking path that follows the river. We were traveling with 2 dogs and at checkin we were thoughtfully placed next to a large grassy area. Allan also kindly looked after our dogs for a few hours so that we could take a river cruise. We will definitely be back!

A little hidden gem is Waikerie , Stayed 3 nights on powered grass Van site , Site was a bit small for our setup, but the gravel and mat sites are big , Nice clean amenities, close to the river and town 4 Klms of good walking tracks along the river and cliffs Dog friendly and no traffic noise ✅

Simple park but very happy

Great convenient location, close to river. Park is lovely, and well maintained. Looks like there are quite a few new family friendly cabins. I stayed in a pet friendly cabin which was fine for me and my poochie. A family would struggle even though it has a double bed and bunk, as cabin is on the smaller side. Having said that, has everything you need fridge, microwave and other basic necessities inc linen. Been a great little getaway for me and being close to the river, perfect for plenty of walks 🐕. Would definitely come back with the caravan.

We camped on the grass areas so I cant rate the rooms. The facilities were great. New Year music, cocktails and food van made for a fun night. Pancake Saturday gold coin donation to The RFD is an excellent idea. Location to both town and boat ramp was excellent.

Great place to wind down before Xmas..we went with friends end November ,park was quiet . Great amenities, camp kitchen& laundry and games room .

What a gem of a park, staff were great at check-in, amenities are clean as was the camp kitchen. Close to the river and the walking/bike track with easy access to the bird hides.

Next to the mighty Murray river. All the usual Big4 stuff that nobody seems to use, but very well looked after.

Excellent park, very well maintained with exceptionally clean amenities. Large drive through sites and best of all quiet.
