Matt and Cameron were very friendly and informative, beginning by asking us if we had any concerns as well as taking us through things that they were seeing as they went. They were very open to any questions we had and told us to call about anything that came up after we saw the report. Overall, a very easy and stress-free process!

We had a great experience with our home inspector, Tom Santoro. He is extremely detail-oriented and very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly making sure we fully understood his findings. He also explained how to maintain everything properly and how often different parts should be checked or replaced. Just in a few days he sent us a thoroughly written report with pictures. Isn't it a relief when a business prevents you from spending money if you don't really need to? That was my experience with Hudson Valley Home Inspections. I called them to inspect our bathroom for mold but after a few minutes of diagnostic questions, they suggested I forego their services and go straight to the solution: a ventilation fan. If/when I need home inspections services in the future, I know where to go.

We are in the process of purchasing a home that is being sold by a "home flipper" so we had concerns that a recent renovation had cut some corners. They were so thorough and really took the time to find many deficiencies that we will surely use to negotiate the price. Super professional and were able to do the inspection the day after I called, which was on a Monday. They had surprisingly answered my call on Sunday! Wow!
