My daughter thought Mr. Maddock was an excellent teacher. I’ve started my driving with her and I can see she has a calmness and confidence that I don’t think she’d have if I’d been the one starting her off. This class was a great investment.

I think this was a good driving ed because I learned a lot of stuff I probably had not learned if I didn't take that class. Mr. Walburg was was a good drive coach and taught me a lot of new on driving.

Mr neff is the best

Very fast and easy way to get your permit

Micah Neff did an excellent job with our son's driving lessons; we noticed a significant increase in his confidence.

I gad already gotten my permit but hadn't drive much after that. Through this class, I was able to drive on the main roads and even free way after 4 lessons. I even got my license the months following the class. I learned so much through this and gained so much confidence for driving.

This program was great. Ground school was awesome and Mr. Neff was a great driving instructor for my daughter. Very professional and safe. Highly recommend

Great class I got a lot out of it

My child had an amazing experience w Behind the Wheel Driving. My daughter is autistic (high functioning w low comprehension and processing). She failed the written test several times and was very defeated. I tried studying w her but didn’t feel like it was helping. Finally, I bit the bullet and signed her up at Behind the Wheel Driving. They advertised the longest in-class instruction time, which I thought would be good for her. However, hearing it was an 8 hour day I thought might be pretty difficult but she managed it just fine. After her first class she tried the test again and passed! She was through the moon! I had taken her driving several times in large parking lots and a few times on small roads. I was nervous about her heading out onto the road with someone who didn’t know her well and who might not understand her personality. I tracked her phone the first day on the road and was shocked to see them out on major roads all across the metro! After her first trip w David I could already see a noticeable improvement in her driving. I only interacted with him a few times but you could tell he’s just a kind, laid back guy looking to help people. Not only did he teach driving, he socialized with them and pointed out things in neighborhoods so it wasn’t just two teens silently driving around with a stranger. She felt very comfortable with him. He also took them to practice the driving test and provided us with feedback on areas she needs to focus on. My daughter enjoyed it and said she actually wished she could do it again. She improved so much and her confidence was so much better after the course.

This is the second time our family has used Behind the Wheel for our teens, and we have been so happy with their experiences! The classes were interesting and they both enjoyed their driving hours with Mr. Maddock!

Behind the Wheel Inc. was so helpful for our teenager to get more opportunities to practice driving! The classroom days were able to fit into our business schedule and involved some wonderful guest speakers that made our child think deeper about the situations that happen while on the road. It’s important for us that our child knows the impact you have anytime you’re behind the wheel. Overall, we LOVED the experience our child received from Behind the Wheel and would recommend all beginning drivers take advantage of this opportunity.

My experience at behind the wheel drivers ed was amazing. The two days of class time was super helpful and the guest speakers were great. At first, i was super nervous to start driving but we slowly progressed from parking lots, to neighborhoods, to main roads and then to the highway. It was so much easier than I thought it would be and my instructor, Mr Maddock, was an incredible instructor. He explained everything to me and made driving on the road stress free. I recommend behind the wheel to anybody, especially those with driving anxiety. It would have taken me so much longer to start driving if it wasn't for this program and now I can freely drive anywhere with 100% confidence.

We signed all 3 of our children up for Driver’s Ed with Behind the Wheel. Our youngest is a more cautious person and needs more time to ease into new experiences. She was able to pass Driver’s Ed and felt that the extra day of class time and the 4 driving sessions were just what she needed. It was a great experience for her. Her teacher Mr. Neff was very positive and encouraging.

I never needed a license in my old country but coming to America it's a must so I choose this driving school even though I was the only adult in that particular indoor class.It was definitely needed. I did my driving practices with Mr Toni and I have had a few teachers elsewhere, he was the best I ever had and because of him I took the test after our sessions and passed. Thank you so much. Your way of teaching makes driving less stressful.

Behind The Wheel Inc. is a great place to learn from. They teach good information on the days that we have classes. The instructor Matt was patient and taught well.

When it comes to learning how to drive quickly and easily, Behind the Wheel does the job amazingly! At first when I signed up for the class, I was really nervous because I never really learned anything, and I thought that you had to know basically most of it. Instead, the teachers there were great and very understanding and really took the time over each lesson to make sure that we could comprehend on what’s going on! As of the driving session, that part also made me very nervous. I thought that we would immediately start doing the highway and streets immediately— in which we kinda did, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. My driving instructor made sure that we would always be safe and that being a defensive driver is the best way to drive, which is true! On this new journey learning how to handle a car was probably the most enjoyable experience i’ve ever learned thanks to my driver Len Friedman. I will never forget this amazing experience and all that i’ve learned throughout this month that we have been together. Thank you so much for helping me become more confident than I was before!

My son had the best experience with Behind the Wheel. The classroom portion was very informative and comprehensive. Mr. Friedman was a fabulous, patient, kind and thorough driving instructor. Safety was a top priority during Mr. Friedman’s driving lessons. My son will repeat what he learned as he is driving with me. I am SO impressed!

It was a pleasant driving experience. Each day was different… the roundabouts were fun! certain things were more challenging than the other, but by the end of it I feel like I learned a lot of important things, and gained a lot more experience, so I’m much more confident in driving than before.

In class lessons are clear and very helpful to retain knowledge. Also very interesting, it was easy to pay attention to the guest speakers. I came in not knowing very much about driving. After my two days of drivers Ed, I was far more experienced than I had expected. The 6 hours of behind the wheel driving lessons improved my driving from novice to intermediate within only 4 weeks. I am happy with my results and I am glad I participated in behind the wheel driving.

Amazing driving school! The classes are very interesting and interactive. The instructors are great. I like that they do Kansas and Missouri and there is an instructor especially for Missouri residents (he’s really great!) I’ve never driven before (for 30 years) and it took me about 7 driving hours to “become a driver”. Highly recommended. The photo from a session about trucks where we learned all about trucks on the road, it really helps you to be a safer driver.

Had a great experience with this class and with the driving lessons. My instructor, Matt Walberg, was very informative and kind, even when I made mistakes. I learned a lot under his instruction. The class itself taught me a lot I didn’t already know and the speakers they brought in were very knowledgeable. Overall this was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone.
