The bulgogi was fantastic and the staff were incredibly sweet! Quiet on a weeknight, and the floor seating was super cozy.

My daughter introduced this establishment to me a little over a year ago. The food here is very good and worth the visit. The owners and the staff are very friendly. This is a great place for an evening out with family, friends, or on a date. The menu offers something for everyone.

Excellent service, atmosphere and food. We had the tofu kimchi jigae, beef dol sot bibimbap with tteok-bokki for an appetizer. Sitting in the more traditional floor seating was cozy and intimate. The hot stone bowls were served properly hot(like sizzling for ten minutes hot), the banchan was delicious, and my girlfriend said the tofu kimchi jigae was the best she'd had of many, including some in Korea.

My dinner was very good. I'll edit this and add the name of the dish, super hot veggie bowl with egg on top. I love fresh vegetables and I love eggs. It's a great combination, everything fresh, super healthy, and attractive. The bottle of sauce on the table was good, a bit of heat not too much. But overall the dish even with the sauce there wasn't as much flavor as I prefer. Mostly steamed veggies and heat, super dooper hot bowl and hot sauce. I'm not highly familiar with Korean food so I'll try more menu items and ask more questions. The service was excellent, atmosphere good, and lots of menu items to choose from. Looking at the other customer's meals, I'm excited to try more!

Korean food at its finest! Great from the time you enter all the way through leaving. Food was so fresh and wonderfully tasty. My mouth is watering now thinking about the leftovers in the fridge. Very reasonably priced and generous portions. Liked the nibbles we got waiting for our appetizers. Can't wait to go back again. Did I say excellent wait staff who knew their food items and what was in the dishes.

I think this restaurant is warm and inviting, it is small and cozy? I like that they have a dining area for sitting on the floor with pillows and seating in chairs. There's not a lot of seating but a decent amount on both sides of the restaurant. There's street parking available and sometimes limited. I love the soups and stir fry, especially on cold days. I recommend trying something in every category because their food is high quality. I felt that everything was made well, seasoned well, and delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with any choice. The banchan (side dishes) are also delicious and pairs well with everything. I recommend trying everything at least once or twice. Staff is very nice and very kind here. They're very accommodating and they really take care of their customers. We had a great experience and everything was delicious and well made. I would recommend if you want to try authentic Korean food and a cozy and warm experience. I would recommend for small groups and a casual date or hangout! If you have a bigger party, I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation.

Best Korean food I’ve ever had in the US!!! My friend and I went on a road trip from St. Louis to Louisville, and we drove an extra hour and a half out of our way just to try it — totally worth it! We got the seafood pancake, seafood soup, and osam bulgogi. Everything was sooooo good!!! LOVE IT! Definitely visiting again!

Came for early dinner on Saturday. We didn't have reservations. It's better if you had one. We were seated in the bar area. The service was actually faster than the regular tables. Our orders came out so fast. The food was very tasty. The only think i didn't like were two of the pickles dish (total of 6).

I came here for dinner with my mom during our recent visit to Cincinnati. We came during dinner time and arrived just before the rush hour, so we got seated immediately. We ordered our food in mere minutes and got our sides and appetizers to the table in a few minutes. I ordered japchae, and my mom ordered bulgogi with rice. The food was spot on, and they were delicious! I highly recommend this Korean restaurant if you are in town and looking for a great Korean place to satisfy your Korean food craving!

This place is so good..excellent everything. Super great waiter and manager was awesome. We ordered something for my girlfriend and it was a bit spicy for her. We asked them if we could switch it out and without hestation there was something on the table for her to eat which she loved. Manager stated that no one leaves hungry..grateful for places like this.

Authentic, fresh and delicious Korean food. We went for lunch, had kimbap(Korean sushi), pork bulgogi lunch box, and fried tofu vegetable dish. The service was fast and friendly. The decor is beautiful, we sat at the side of the restaurant with traditional Korean design, another side of the restaurant is bright and modern with tiger-themed design. Highly recommend!

Amazing and fun experience!! Delicious hot pot

The best Korean restaurant in the town, as the food and decorations are almost the same as what in Korea are. The tiger 🐯🐅 works as a generally logo/mascot at the front door and on the wall of the dinning area. There are traditional Korean dining rooms, the bar and the modern dining area. We ordered the Kim Bab as the special sushi with sauce and the seafoof pancake for appetizers. We ordered he BI Bim Bap as the main dish with the protein of Gal Bi and Dae Ji Bul Go Gi. I would say the sizzling style grills are really worth it with the beef to be tender and crispy. Also the Sul Long Tang makes us feel warm on a winter night. Everything is great here. Do remember to make a reservation first during the rush hours.

Great Korean food and overall dining experience. I got the Jham Bong, a red noodle soup loaded with shrimp, squid, mussels, crab meat and pork (plus vegetables). It looked, smelled and tasted delicious with the steam rising and was perfectly spicy. It was a very large portion. Also, the banchan was the best I've ever had. Excellent service too.

Everything was perfect. We had a great sever and she was very helpful with explaining the menu. We got the rice bowls, and they were excellent. It is a cool experience the rice bowl comes to the tabel still cooking.

Authentic Korean restaurant. The sides were good. The seafood pancake was the best seafood pancake that I tried. The hotpot was okay, but I'd recommend the other entrees. The seafood soup was really good too. Good service all around and a great atmosphere to eat in.

Delicious Korean dishes and even an option to sit traditional table setting on a raised platform, very neat experience! Food was phenomenal and full of flavor ! I got a beef soup I recommend substituting the sweet potato noodles for ramen noodles

Great service. Our server, Eric, was very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, well-balanced in chatting without disrupting our dinner, and helpful considering our needs with our child at the table. He did a great job. My wife and I both had the dol sot bibimbop. I had beef, and she had chicken. Both were good, though I preferred the beef. It had a sweet marinade and was sliced very thinly making it tender. Atmosphere was pleasant. The space seems a little small, but it was well-lit and they were playing k-pop music. The food was a little pricey, but we had a great experience.

Received delivery via UberEats for lunch yesterday and boy was I glad I did! I ordered Yang Nyum Du Bu, Jab Chae and a house salad. They were generous with the bulgogi in the Jab Chae although the dish was quite oily. However, the flavor was still there. The Yang Hyum was pretty tasteless for tofu but that's pretty standard. They made up for it with the flavorful sauce that accompanied it. The house salad was a pretty large size and the sesame dressing was delicious but yet again, a tad oily hence the one star removal. The included banchan during lunch was a pleasant surprise. I would rate them 4.5 stars due to the oil but giving them the half star for the added banchan and great lunch deal. I hope to eventually dine-in one day.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend, haven't seen the new renovations, and was completely amazed! Everything is so beautiful, love all the tigers, the wallpapers, lush plants, and that's just the decor! The food was delicious, we started with pot stickers and crab ragoon (my favorite), of course I had to get the Big Stone Bowl- Dolsot Bi Bim Bap- and it did not disappoint! My friend mentioned how much she loves the potato sides and the AWESOME waitress brought another bowl of them for her. The pickled cucumber, radish and kimchi had just the right amount of spice. The service was amazing, thoughtful, and QUICK! Can't wait to come back.

Stopped by here on a weekend night for a meal with friends. We were seated pretty quickly as it was getting kind of late. Was a bit pricey for what you got but it was a nice experience overall. The stone bowl was pretty typical, the noodles we ordered were on the sweet side. We liked the sides. Staff was friendly and prompt. Check it out if you get the chance.

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal here recently. We were seated quite quickly and got to eat on the bar side of the restaurant, which is located inside old structures giving it a unique feel. While we ordered crab Rangoon appetizers we also received a number of small dishes to try before the meal began. Everything was delicious and well prepared and the atmosphere was fun. We will definitely be back. Note that all menus were digital, accessed via a QR code scanned by your phone. Also nearby parking is paid, but free on Sundays.

Wonderful Korean restaurant!!! I ordered way too much but ate it all because it was so good! As an added bonus the service was spectacular even with it being super busy. I am not local or I would be returning often.

This place is amazing. I drove here from Louisville to try it out. The Kimchi was out of this world. I had the Osum Bulgogi and got it extra spice. SO GOOD! I also got the tofu appetizer. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also get yourself a nice soju cocktail to wash it all down with. I would totally recommend this place. And the environment is so cool and unique. I would give it a 10/10 and I've had Korean all over the US. This makes my top 10 list.

Awesome Korean restaurant, the service was excellent the servers were attentive patient and very helpful. The food was excellent! I'm not a Korean restaurant expert so I can't say if it was authentic or not but it was extremely tasty. I got the stir fried tofu and it was awesome. The sides come with entree's for free as well. They have seating in the front room which consists of booths and also low table seating where you sit on pillows on a raised platform (you do have to take off your shoes). There is also another seating area in a side room but we didn't get to see it.

Excellent Korean food. Very authentic and great portion sizes. A little more on the pricey side but you know you're getting good stuff. They have a raised platform seating where you take your shoes off in order to sit on little cushions at a low set table. Very fun. Really gets you into the atmosphere of eating in am asian style restaurant. Really great service too. Everything was prompt and our food came out very quick.

Been here a couple of times and the food is absolutely excellent! Extremely authentic and full of flavor. Must try the chicken wings, I always ask for extra sauce on the side because it’s SO good. Beef Hot Pot is our favorite entree, it has sweet potato noodles, dumplings, bulgogi, tofu and veggies - plenty of food for 2-3 people.

Easy to miss but definitely a worthwhile destination. They customize the level of spicy - my wife likes mild and I like extra hot. No problem. Enjoyed an excellent early dinner on a Saturday afternoon.

A hidden gem in Covington ( I live across the river). Super clean and minimalistic. The menu options were spot on and authentic Korean. Service was very good and the spicy seafood stew is out-of-the-world good. Hot temp, good spices but not unnecessarily hot. I highly recommend.

This is some of the best Korean food I've had in the area. They have many options to choose from to fit whatever your are looking for. Plenty of space inside the restaurant for large groups. The staff provided excellent service and the dining area is very clean. The decor made me laugh with the cat wallpaper. Parking can be a hassle, but it wasn't too hard to find something nearby.

This Koream restaurant in downtown Covington is one of the best spots I've been to! Ambience is great, service was excellent, and they even have the option to sit on the floor and eat on a low table. And of course the food was delicious! You get all your regular side dishes, as with most Korean places. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken wings, which were nicely crispy and tangy. Bulgogi was a hit, as always. We got a beef and seafood soup, which hit the spot with how cold it was outside. Also a stir fry squid dish that was slightly sweet and delicious. Of course some warm soju to top it all off! All together a great experience. Highly recommend!

Incredible stone bowl

We started off with a tofu salad and the seafood pancake and hooooly moly was that the right choice. The salad had a tasty dressing and a ton of fried tofu. The pancake was crispy and tender and all the best parts of an Asian style pancake. Followed that with the Osam bulgogi (pork belly and squid) and it came out like a sizzling plate of fajitas. The flavor of the sauce was spicy and sweet, just like momma used to make. The banchan complimented every part of the meal and they didn’t complain when we got 3 extra sides of kimchi.

Small place with big flavor! The food was very good with large portions and the staff was very friendly. We will go back again.

Trust me the other dishes are great but this is the go to for your first time . Also the staff are super helpful and awesome . Any questions just ask . I am staying at a nearby hotel and have never had Korean good before. I ordered for take out but on the phone they were very helpful with recommending something to my tastes and concerns about sweet potato noodles. (I now know they don't taste like sweet potato) I am super happy with my experience and will be happily coming back next time I'm in town.

They also serve banchan soon after you are seated, a fun traditional Korean appetizer. The staff is excellent. We’ve dined here at least 10 times and have never been disappointed.

My husband and I had a fantastic lunch at Riverside Korean Restaurant! We started with an appetizer featuring fish cakes, rice cakes, and ramen, which was absolutely delicious. I also had the bi bim bap with chicken, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his beef stock soup. The food was a perfect 10/10, and the service was fantastic. While the restaurant's decor feels a bit dated, it's clean and welcoming. We frequent another local spot, but we're seriously considering if Riverside is our new favorite! Highly recommend.

I just moved here after living in Korea for nearly 10 years and this place hits home. Delicious food and a fun modern Korean vibe. The prices were better than I have seen at other places around town too. I think you can tell the owner cares about their resturant.

Alexi was super sweet and very knowledgeable. We came in without a reservation and were able to sit in seating that we preferred food was 10 out of 10 big portions. Definitely recommend the service and the atmosphere.

I ordered beef with broccoli. Fried rice is great, though plain. Food was inexpensive and fresh, well-cooked. Egg roll wasn't hot enough but was decent. Support a local business with fresh food. Eat here instead of Panda or fast food. Restaurant inside is large, can accommodate big groups. A bit dated and they need music but pleasant.

Wow. I can believe I found a Korean spot like this in Kentucky. Legitimate and absolutely delicious. I usually don’t like bulgogi — this was the best bulgogi I had in a while. We ordered daeji dupbap, kimbap, dukbokki, and gunmandu. All were S-tier.

Delightful, fresh space. Our server was helpful and attentive. Lots of great choices on the menu. I have to start with a Lucky Buddha Beer that comes in a green bottle shaped like Buddha. Pre entree you are treated with 10 or so vegetable condiments to nibble on. I think the name of my favorite dish is Bim Bi Bop. It comes in a piping hot bowl lined with white rice that the edges become crispy. Vegetables are on top the rice followed by your choice of shrimp, chicken, beef, or tofu. This is topped with a fried egg. I like Siracha sauce to finish.

Really small inside, but I think that’s the nature of Covington. Everything else was fantastic, authentic Korean. Service was speedy - we were headed to a show & it was record service - and the girl with the short hair was kind, helpful, and even ran my leftovers down the street to me! Will be back. My Sweet Daughter took me to this wonderful eatery for my birthday and wow was I impresssed! She ordered for us both and it was an explosion of tastes, spices and textures, all of which I loved. Do yourself a favor and take someone you love here and watch their happiness! As Always, Enjoy!

I would eat here every day if I could! Their lunch boxes make any work day a happy one and the stone bowls are my favorite date night treat. The people are as kind as the food is delicious!

Being originally from NY, now living in Atlanta wasn’t expecting much from this place. But was I wrong. Food portions large, price good and most of all authentic taste. Would definitely recommend this place. Honestly I think better than most Korean restaurants in Georgia

A nice, cozy atmosphere with top notch food. I have ordered on doordash many times and just recently sat down in the restaurant and it never disappoints!

Such yummy, healing, and nourishing food. Takeout usually makes me feel icky but this always makes me feel good afterwards. They bring you some small appetizers before you get your meal too! Meals are very filling and I usually split with a friend :)

Food is absolutely wonderful, and the overall atmosphere of the place just makes you feel like you’re in Korea. It may seem pricey to some but the portion sizes make the price totally worth it. I loved it and so did my girlfriend will definitely be coming back.

Dinner was and is always good here. I ordered the wings and they were different… they changed the recipe, it now tastes like a sweet and spicy sauce mixed with an orange chicken sauce. Our waiter was amazing, he told the kitchen staff and they made another order of wings for us to try to see if they were better. They’re good, but no where near the original we used to get. I’m glad they tried to accommodate us and our craving for these wings.

Definitely one of the gems in northern Kentucky. Food is just awesome, service is always stellar and the whole experience really can't be beat.

Food was great. Service was even better. We had a couple of hard to please people that joined us for dinner unfortunately. Our server was gracious, polite and stood her ground very well with their "demands". She got a big tip on that point alone. It was a smaller menu than I expected but all very well prepared and presented and my family was very happy and left with lots of leftovers.

BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT IN THE CINCINNATI AND COVINGTON AREA. They forgot some sauces for my bimbab bap and we didn’t have a car to go pick it up since we were in a hotel, but they were nice enough to deliver it so my wife could enjoy her food. NOW THATS SERVICE!!! Wife loved the bibim bap, Mandu, and daegi bokum. Very good authentic Korean food. If you are Korean this is the place to eat.

I met a business colleague for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The service and atmosphere were both outstanding. The food choices all sounded incredible and it was tough to decide what to get. I got Korean Barbeque and was amazed at the flavor and quality. I will be coming back soon!

First time we have experienced this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. We all thought it was beyond our expectations in the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. Authentic, as each dish had its distinct flavors and textures. Definitely a restaurant to put at the top of our list.

You wouldn’t think that one of the best Korean spots in the Midwest is in Newport, but it is, and Riverside quickly became one of our favorite dinner spots. Wish I had pictures of the interior and food since it’s such a great spot. Two different sides to this place: a trendy new wave style side with bar and lots of plants hanging from the ceiling with some dope tiger face wall paper and a traditional Korean side with booth and traditional floor seating. Been here enough to try a majority of the menu and have never been disappointed. This is a spot to get outside of your comfort zone and order something you’ve never tried before; you won’t be disappointed. Limited selection of sake and other drinks but this isn’t a negative as the limited list is all of the best stuff.

I absolutely enjoyed it here, fantastic food, fantastic service and the vibe was so mellow and beautiful. This is probably going to be my go to Korean restaurant from now on! Highly recommend.

My out-of-town friend and I dined at Riverside Korean last night and the staff were SO generous with their time and extending closing hours for us so we could have extra time to catch-up! We enjoyed hot stone bowls, tea, and lots of connection. Highly recommend this locally-owned gem and the generous staff they employ!

Everything was delicious, from the Dan Chan to the Entres. We will returning to try more of their food.

Riverside never disappoints. It’s our favorite place for Bibimbap in the city.

A smaller menu but they have all the classics. Everything is delicious and the left overs are just as good. If you aren't a fan of spicy, there are plenty of dishes for you.

I’ve lived here 10 years, exploring food all over, and never heard of this restaurant until yesterday. Took my girlfriend here yesterday, who is a Cincinnati native and never heard of it either. We’re already planning our next trip back. The food, service, and experience ruled all around. This is a hidden gem.

The food is delicious. I've never had Korean food before here, it's awesome! I do not know what the name of the dish is but the pork belly and squid dish is amazing, I almost talked myself out of getting it due to how weird of a combination it sounded but glad I didn't. Still I don't think you can go wrong here!

My family and I are on our way back to Chicago from vacation and we stopped by this place on a whim. We were not expecting too much, but the food was a pleasant surprise. As a 55-year old, native Korean, I know my Korean food. We ordered 5 dishes and all of them were spot-on. We are now leaving Kentucky, smiling and belly full.

Good food one of my favorite restaurants

This is a nice little spot hiding in Covington. I got the Kimchi Zhi Gae, which is a kimchi stew and I loved it! Perfect for how cold it was that day. My husband got Bulgolgi and if you're trying Korean food for the first time then Bulgolgi is the quintessential Korean food to try. Pay attention to how hot it is though. Some foods are very spicy, which suits me just fine but it may be too much for others who aren't used to Korean spice. You can sit at a booth or slip off your shoes and sit on pillows. I wanted so badly to enjoy sitting on the pillows but I don't think I realized my age was catching up to me so I left a bit bruised in the tailbone. Worth trying at least once though! Definitely a place I'd go back to. There isn't enough places to get good Korean food around here so I hope they're around for a long time!
