I wouldn’t trust these people at all. They lie and play dumb. Just know if you buy an engine youll have to swap out various parts depending on what specific vehicle you have. Had to swap secondary oil pan to fit in 2008 tacoma prerunner. The oil in the engine oil pan was black and thick ! Bought a replacement 2007 Low mileage 1grfe engine from JDM. Original engine was a 2008 1grfe in a Toyota Tacoma prerunner that i purchased new and the engine failed w 594000 miles on it. It failed because a plastic timing chain guide broke. Update, after a few months of running the engine i purchased it does have a head gasket leak that i suspected rite after installing it. It seems to come and go causing the overflow bottle to overflow. Very disappointing!!Engine failed after 7000 miles!! Total rip off.

If i could give 0 stars i would.. I bought the engine. Had to call 2 times to confirm shipping address. 2nd call guy kept insisting that engine was low miles 58k to b exact. After 2 weeks engine came. Had installed at a shop. I drove it for 1 week back and forth to work after about 300miles i started hearing a slight tick. Couple days later ticking is super loud sound like vvt solenoid or lifter tick. When i called to let them know and see what can we work out. They immediatly accused me of tracking the car and told me it was over 30 days since purchase and nothing they can do.. Btw if you open any cover to check for these issues it voids warranty.. Si after spending $2,300 on a motor that was supposedly “like new” and “so good” because it only had 58k has been sitting for 3months slowly getting torn apart to find tick.. not timing chain already took all that apart. If not vvt then will need work on lifters… do not buy an engine from these people unless u can install and check for ever issue in 30 days or no be returns.smh. They got me. Car was down 4 days after test driving from home to work

i called and spoke to the owner who is very nice. he had an engine shipped from california to new mexico over a weekend. i bought a subaru fb20 engine and upon receiving i was very rpleased. expertly packed on a pallet and coverered in wrap. the engine runs fantastic and solved our excessive our consumption issues. i highly recommend. edit. the engine had issues and allstar stood up to their warranty and sent another engine. incredible service. highly recommend
