Alkon Electric is AMAZING. I contacted them for panel work and they responded within the hour to schedule an appointment and to request a photo of my electrical panel. Within ten minutes of sending the photo, Alex called me to tell me he could fix it over the phone. Boom, ten seconds later, problem solved. No charge! Amazing service, kind people, a ton of integrity.

Alex & Dimitri successfully and quickly upgraded our electrical panel to a 100 amp breaker panel. They worked quickly, efficiently and professionally. After experiencing some flickering lights and intermittent power loss Alex & Dimitri responded quickly to diagnose the problem. They were always available to us when we called and showed a willingness to go above expectations to resolve the issue, responding promptly, even returning to the house to ensure the system was working as it should. Turned out to be Toronto Hydro issue outside the house which was not immediately identifiable. Their suggestion of a serge protector helped identity the issue and Toronto Hydro was called to fix the problem. They also did some junction box rewiring which was quickly and efficiently completed. Would contact them again and recommend them for anyone needing electrical work done.

We contacted Alkon Electric because we needed an outlet for our new freestanding range (coming from a built-in cook-top and wall oven). They responded to our inquiries right away and even made time for us on the same day for the install. Other firms that I reached out to did not return our calls or get back to us. As a matter of fact I called other contractors over two days ago and have still received no response or follow up. The two electricians that showed up were friendly and courteous. They explained in detail everything that was required and were very timely in completing everything. We were not in a rush at all but they were very efficient and that is commendable for their sake and ours. This company was very enjoyable to deal with and I would not hesitate for a second to use them again for our future electrical needs. Highly recommended!!!

Fast and very friendly service. I called on a Sunday with a blown dryer outlet. Got back to me right away and were able to be there on site Monday first thing as planned. Called before arriving to make sure i was ready for them too! In this case the dryer repair tech and myself thought the issue was the breaker, which Alkon brought to replace, but they took a look at the outlet and identified that as the problem (subtle burn marks and a melted AC cord should have been a clue to the dryer tech). They had the outlet in their truck and were able to fix it on site, no delay. Liked that 2 electricians came, so that they could work faster (one at the panel and one at the outlet, in this case) and both guys were really friendly. Will call again!
