These guys genuinely know what they’re doing. I’d previously taken my car to a certified dealer garage who failed to diagnose the problem and still charged me a fortune. I wish I’d gone to KSM straight away. If you’re dealing with a gearbox issue, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I had a great experience with KSM Autos from start to finish. I had an issue with the bearings in the gearbox for my Honda Jazz and spent weeks trying to find a mechanic who was willing to fix the issue without quoting a ridiculously large amount (it was a big job). As a woman with zero knowledge of cars, it can be daunting to deal with these issues on my own as there is the fear of being taken advantage of. James was recommended to me by an employee at Honda and he was very honest and personable when I first phoned him to discuss my concerns. He quoted me a fair price range and kept me informed throughout the process of making the repairs. Once fixed, he stuck to his quoted pricing and I left with a car that literally feels brand new - I don’t even think my car felt this smooth when I purchased it years ago! Would highly recommend James and his team, and will definitely look to them should any issues arise in future.

Took my 2016 Hyundai i40 Premium with DCT gearbox to KSM to be fixed. I tested their work up Hardnott Pass in the Lake District 🤦‍♂️ 3 weeks later ....faultless. Thanks guys it was worth the effort to seek you out and wait until you could do the work. Regards Clive

I cannot thank James enough for the effort he out into trying to help my father sort out a problem with his car. Even involving the garage next door. The issue defeated both garages and James refused to take a penny as a result. Despite not fixing what is clearly a tricky problem I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend James or use KSM again.
