My wife and I partnered with Brint to help us buy a house in Portugal. The services they provided are nothing less than first class. They helped us get an NIF number and open a bank account. They helped us find houses to consider, and did a great job prequalifying houses before we came to visit. While we were there, they scheduled three days of visits to see all of the houses. Our visits were well organized and utilized our time well. During our visits, they recorded our visits, so we could review and compare each house as we made a decision. They also helped us consider all factors of each house, including outside factors, such as annual weather, size of village and activities we are interested in doing. Once we selected a house, they negotiated the price, and features of the house. Since this is a restoration project that was not complete, they got us the opportunity to select cabinets and appliances. While the price did not go down, we were able to upgrade the appliances and add some additional features at no additional charge. The closing took a couple of months while the sellers completed the restoration. The closing process was a breeze. My only obligation was to make sure the money was in my account for closing and taxes. They went to the house to make sure the house was completed as agreed. They checked to make sure everything worked, such as light switches, faucets and HVAC, and recorded their visit, so we would review it ourselves. They had an attorney review all closing documents, and checked to make sure there were no liens on the property. Once everything had the green light from the attorney, they picked up the checks from the bank, and signed the closing documents for me. Thanks to Brint, we have the home of our dreams in Portugal. We are a five minute walk from Roman ruins, and less than three miles from two castles, minutes away from several hiking trails, and live in a village where we can immerse ourselves in the culture. This process was incredibly easy thanks to Brint. We plan to move in a couple of months, and can’t wait to move into our new home. I can’t recommend Brint enough. Buying a property in Portugal was a big decision for us. We knew that there would be many aspects that differed greatly from buying a property in Canada. We needed help, so we looked into getting a buyers’ agent and chose Brint. From our first virtual meeting we were put at ease. They presented us with all the aspects that they cover and answered all of our questions. We went to Portugal to physically view the properties. We had a fantastic agent take us to all of them, she was super helpful and made us comfortable. I was a little skeptical at first and my decision to use them was based off of how transparent they appeared in the youtube comments. They put me at ease along the way with zoom calls to meet the team. I translated and cross-checked all the legal stuff like the letter attorneys and also had Portuguese friends cross-check them. They're all great people and I'm in a Whatsapp group with them, have met them personally and I've successfully managed to get my NIF, NHR, Bank, House and utilities. I'm just waiting on the visa meeting now. They've been super helpful in other matters as well, like registering my car and always answer any question I have, which made it feel like I moved across with knowledgeable friends. The money these guys saved me on the house alone was insane and basically 9% of the property value. They even managed to get some stuff thrown in like repainting of the exterior/interior/pool repainted and the house report even came with suggested fixes along with pricing and how to get those done. They're trustworthy and would highly recommend their services.

Living in Canada and buying a house in Portugal felt so easy only because we found BRINT.
