The three movers (Micah, Seth and Ryan C.) we worked with today were extremely thorough and efficient. Phone 30 minutes before arrival time letting us know they were on their way. Their estimated completion time was right on the money. They worked quickly and safely thus reducing the overall cost of the original estimate quote. All in all an easy stress free move.

From start to finish, they were professional, careful, and incredibly efficient. They initially quoted how many hours they expected the move to take--and they finished an hour ahead of schedule, which meant the final price was lower than expected. That alone says a lot about their integrity and work ethic. They laid down floor protection throughout the house, covered the front door with thick moving blankets, and made sure nothing was scratched or damaged. They asked exactly where I wanted each piece of furniture and carefully reinstalled everything--not a single scratch anywhere. I truly can't say enough good things about this team. I would absolutely encourage anyone looking for movers to use this company without hesitation. Side note: if you're using movers, tip your movers. We had an outstanding experience with PDX Movers on our moving day. Our crew of three showed up exactly on time and worked hard and efficiently from start to finish. I had gathered three other quotes from different companies, and PDX Movers was the only one confident enough to estimate the job at under 8 hours. They budgeted 5.5 hours--and impressively finished in just a little over four. Because their team worked so quickly and professionally, we actually received a credit back. They packed up our 3-bedroom home, plus an office and rec room, and organized everything perfectly in our storage unit. We were incredibly happy with their work. When it's time to move our belongings from storage to another state, we will absolutely be using PDX Movers again. Highly recommend!

Edit to Original Review: Since posting my original review, PDX Movers reached out and resolved the issue with our damaged washer. I really appreciate that they took responsibility and followed through to make things right. While our move wasn't perfect, their responsiveness and willingness to address the problem speak well of their customer service.

The three men that moved us were Josiah B, Josh B and Trenton T. We were totally impressed with their work ethic, attention to details as well as their personalities. They took such great care with our furniture and other items. Highly recommend these men!

We utilized PDX Movers to move my husband's grandparents across the country. I cannot say enough nice things about them. Dealing with Max at first, he was super nice, informative, and answered all my questions. They kept us informed every step of the way, and when the team arrived with the truck, Tanner and his team could not have been nicer. They wrapped all the furniture really well, and were careful with the boxes. They made us all feel at ease. On the other end of the move, that team was great as well. Chris, the driver, called the day before delivery and told us what time he was going to be there. He was on time, just like he said, and they moved everything into the apartment, and put together one of the beds. I would absolutly hire PDX movers again, especially for something like this. They were great to work with, and I am so thankful for the whole team.

I loved our move with PDX movers. They moved us from Portland to Baltimore and did a great job with every step. They hired out the cross-country driving but flew the same guy who loaded us out to do the unload so he would be familiar with all the stuff. They took great care of everything. And they were the lowest bid we got! Highly recommend.

Updating my review at the request of the company. While we did reach a resolution and a refund was issued. We were very grateful of that, as we felt it was warranted based on the experience. It took a bit of work to get there. At times it felt as though they were not hearing us and trying to disprove all of our negative comments / feedback / complaints, but as I said we did get there. I would recommend PDX Movers to friends and family with the clear instruction to make they also have an expectation set of the quoting process / sales team. Do not allow them to tell you there is not time to come physically view the property and make sure you follow up with them on if anything was missing like pictures. If you hold them accountable, I believe you will have a very successful move as their MOVERS did a great job!!!

5 star experience with PDX movers from start to finish. We hired PDX movers to pack, drive and unload for our move from Western to Eastern Washington. The process began with a very detailed meeting with a member of the team to go over our home, the items to be packed, and the cost of the move. Two days prior another member of the team contacted us and confirmed the details of the move and what to expect the day of the move. On the day of the move I received a text that the movers were on their way and they arrived on time as agreed. The team consisted of Said, Edward, and Josh. The three came prepared with all the tools and equipment needed along with carpet covering for the whole house. Part way through the load, a supervisor arrived to check on the crew, offer loading advice for the cross state trip (weight requirements by the state) and answer any questions I might have. I think the supervisors name was Bobby?? but great guy. Thorough, friendly, and very professional. The team of Said, Edward, and Josh wrapped and covered every piece of furniture that was in the home and loaded the entire home into the moving truck. The following day the same crew arrived at our new home on time and as agreed. Once again I received a text that the team was enroute and Said, Edward, and Josh emerged from the truck ready for work and they had our home unloaded in no time. All our furniture was assembled in the original manner and boxes placed in their appropriate rooms. At the time of this review, we have ZERO damaged or broken items. I would be stunned if we were to find any since the teams process of wrapping all the furniture in blankets would make it difficult to break or damage. Kudos to the team for such a thorough packing process. I couldn't be more happy with the team of Said, Edward and Josh and our family is extremely grateful for their service. I especially enjoyed Said who shared personal stories of his family and his native countries cuisine which I found very interesting. I couldn't recommend PDX Movers more highly and would encourage all to seriously consider them for all your moving needs.

We hired PDX Movers to move from Seattle to Portland and really recommend them! Their cost was comparable to other quotes we received, and the movers ( Said, Josh, Kyle and Python) were very careful with our furniture. All the things made across the state line safe and sound and there were no surprises.

We hired PDX Movers to help move a family member from the Portland area to southern Oregon and I'm so glad we did! The crew was very nice, conscientious, and professional. And they delivered everything safely and on time. I'd definitely call them again for my next move!

I cannot recommend this company enough! I first worked with Max to set up a quote/dates for the move. He came out to our home to assess in order to provide as accurate of a quote as they could. Unfortunately, after setting up the quote we had issues with the family purchasing our home and had to postpone the move dates. Max told me he'd check in weekly to see if we had dates/they could assist with scheduling and he did. He was consistent and so kind. Pricing wise, AMAZING. We were moving out of state and PDX Movers was hands down the lowest quote we received, but more importantly, the most straightforward pricing. It took all the guess work out of it. When the move was done we paid pretty much exactly what we expected to with no surprises. Crew wise, WOW. They sent a crew of 6 to move us out of our Portland home. The guys were great! Polite, careful, fast, and hardworking. They then sent 6 guys out to our new home to deliver our stuff to the new out of state home. This crew was led by Dan E and included: Elijah, Noah, Miguel, Allen, and Payton. Dan was a born leader. He was friendly and very communicative with us AND his team. He was helpful and we overheard him numerous times making sure his team was being safe as well as passing along info to help them be even better at the job. He took amazing care of his team and us. We have 2 little kids and as much as I tried to keep them from underfoot, they did get in the way a few times. The crew was so nice. They made sure the kids were safe, they never were mean or upset, and they were all friendly with our littles who were pretty excited and also a bit confused. All of our stuff arrived perfectly fine and was out exactly where we needed it. All furniture they put together was put together with care and properly. Everyone was communicating wonderfully with each other and us. They worked so unbelievably hard and we are so grateful to them. If you're moving, out of state or not, you can't go wrong with this company. We would absolutely not hesitate to use them (and recommend them) again!

Efficient, great attitude, and responsive to our almost OCD requests. They took great care in protecting all our "stuff" during the move. They arrived on time and worked steadily for eight hours.

Used PDX fire a move from Oregon to California. Had a very competitive bid, and unlike other companies gave an exact arrival date. Crew on both ends were excellent, and driver Billy went above and beyond. Excellent communication the whole way. Recommended.

PDX Movers is a professional and reliable moving company. We had 3 movers help move two big couches from upstairs to downstairs, and take one couch for donation. I want to give a shout out to Sanje, Shaun and Will! They were a very courteous and conscientious team!

Totally professional crew through and through. When they realized they weren't going to be done on time they pulled in another crew member. It was really smart and necessary. Communication was excellent and we really enjoyed the personalities and positive attitudes of the crew members.

Day 2 of our 3-day move and Billy L once again rallied the troops for an excellent day of loading (minor packing to finish up, too). There were 10 strong folks assisting in loading 2 huge trucks. Let me say, they worked SO DANG HARD!! It was hot!! There were heavy, heavy items that had to be hauled up some backyard steps. Everything was done with a smile. Move from Portland to Bend, Oregon. The quote was similar to another local company. From the beginning, PDX Movers communicated thoroughly and they were available for questions. Highly highly recommended!

I need to revise my review with pdx movers. Yes we did have some major issues with my move to Texas but when I called and talked to them about it they did everything they could to help me out. Cari and Mike are outstanding. Some of the kindest people I have talked to. This company stands by there word. I do highly recommend this company.

Josh L, Andrew E, and Jeff moved my stuff quickly and carefully taking extra precautions in my building lobby which is fully decorated for the holidays. They were on time, called ahead to confirm, and even assembled my bed. The guys were all super courteous and diligent about COVID precautions so I was really comfortable. Overall a great move!

I couldn't be happier with the job PDX Movers did for our recent local move. Their consultants were quick to respond, thorough with their estimate and were very clear about the process. This made prepping for the big move day as stress-free as possible. Their communication on checking in and making sure to understand exactly what we needed was much appreciated. Our movers Ryan, Bryan and Parker thoroughly made sure everything was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. We didn't have a single casualty! Plus they made sure that everything got safely into our old vintage doorways with creative solutions. I would absolutely recommend them to any of my friends who need a hand on moving day.

This company was amazing to work with!!!!!!!! There were a couple of initial miscommunication issues, but they got resolved quickly. I honestly can't express how easy they made our move out, storage, and move in ( which got complicated) happen so flawless. And the crew that came to our home both times weee amazing. They move so quick and efficient yet take the time to care about your belongings. They were sooooo aware that we had just bought a brand new home and they needed to be extra careful! And we had a very tricky corner that required some skill and thinking to get the furniture through. They didn't rush and they took the time to take the legs off our couches to make them fit! They were literally AMAZING!!!! I can't say what it's like to have them move you straight out and right in to your home, since we had to use them for storage as well. Call them, read the reviews! Go with them! You won't be disappointed!

I had an excellent experience with PDX Movers. Despite small streets and many stairs, the crew kept the move just under the 2 hour minimum and saved me a ton of time and money. The movers were respectful, quick, and communicative. The team lead explained the paperwork and procedure clearly. I was nervous about the truck not fitting down the small street I live on, but the driver navigated it without issue. Additionally, the man who did my estimate was spot on with his time estimate and recommended team size, so there were no surprises in terms of cost. I really appreciate the team at PDX Movers and would definitely use them again.

A team of five movers, JoshE, Frank, Isiah, Jaylen, and Jahrin showed up in the morning and set to work immediately for an all day local move from Portland to Vancouver. They showed experience in disassembly, wrapping and protecting the furniture and property. They took direction and last minute changes well. They started the clock upon arrival and stopped the clock with the last item placed in the new home. Not a minute was wasted. The advanced people did an excellent job estimating what was needed and explaining the valuation coverage. Everything went as planned. Important hint when working with a larger team: have things clearly staged and marked; isolate things not being moved away from those that are. These guys are self-directed to get things done fast after the initial walk through and it can be impossible catch mistakes such as loading something that wasn't supposed to be loaded.

We booked PDX Movers for our relocation out of the PDX metro area to a small town in the Valley. The whole process from scheduling to completion was done with a high level of professionalism. The 4 movers; Josh E., Jose E., Chiko, and Rowan were great. They took exceptional care of our belongings as well as the houses we were moving from and to. We expect to remain in our new home for years to come, but if we ever need a moving company again it will be PDX Movers.
