Nice camp ground, the pictures don’t do it justice. Karl and Micheal are extremely helpful. Nice warm pool, a nice big beach area and a few smaller ones. They have a fun play area, that my 2 year old was a big fan of. We will be back again

This was mine and my families first time here. I will say we will be returning this year again and next and so on. The site was absolutely amazing. Big area for the youngsters to play on site with a trail right to the river. My kids absolutely loved being in nature and being adventurous boys. Mike who is in charge of the campground is awesome. He is right there when you need him for anything. Then man takes care of the whole place by himself and he does a phenomenal job doing it. He does a great job keeping the entire campground as nice as possible. Have never a nicer campground. I highly recommend anyone looking to get away for a few days to stay at medcalf. Guarantee you’ll enjoy your time from the river to the pool to just sitting at the fire. Amazing job Mike. Will be back to enjoy again.

Medcalf Acres is a really nice, wooded campground located right on the Schroon River. We stayed in site 24b, which was a little tricky to get in and out of with our 26 ft trailer, but Mike was right there to help out and we got in and out with no problem. It was a gorgeous site, very spacious. The campground has a pool and other activities, but we were there to relax and enjoy the river and so we did just that! It's a nice quiet campground and everyone there is very friendly. I would definitely stay there again! Our dogs loved it, too!

We came in on Friday. Booked one site the staff member his name is Michael said if you don’t like it I can move you to another site with no problem. Had no power he had the power fixed in no time.The camp ground is nice and clean. We will stay again.

My father works here, (Michael), my name is Alexa, I’ve been camping for about 8-9 years, it’s amazing. My dad goes above and beyond to help everything and everyone if needed. This place is awesome if you have kids, there are playgrounds they can play at, and even a heated pool. I really do enjoy camping here. There is even a golf court, and a beach. There’s also a river that you can go tubing in, kayaking, or even just chilling. Down by the river near the river cabin there is a big rock in the water that kids and adults can sit on if they wanted to! That used to be me and my friend’s chill spot but sadly they aren’t going camping there anymore this year and so on. It’s ok I still enjoy camping and meeting new people! I suggest you give medcalf acres a try! Maybe you will have a good time too!

Family friendly and best campground all around! We've looked at many others, and nothing compares to this, on the beautiful Schroon River!

We had a wonderful week at Medcalf Acres! Mike is a phenomenal employee. We had a blast. The band was amazing. Very friendly and family oriented. Pet friendly which made our trip even more wonderful. We will be back. Thank you 😊
