We are totally pleased with the job Deck Science did in building our new deck! From the sales person Joe who came to our home to give us a bid, to Emily who was our go to for questions and next steps, to the workers who were here doing the build. Joe was friendly and professional providing our bid with no high pressure sales pitch. The price was fair compared to the other bid we got. And Emily was responsive when we had a question. Damon and his team were all friendly and hard workers. It’s amazing they were able to do this in the cold winter weather! The deck is beautiful and we are looking forward to using it this spring!

Joe was great to talk to during the estimate process. He was patient during my indecisiveness, knowledgeable, and gave a fair price. Then Brandon and Nic stepped in to do the demo and replace the boards and railing. They were extremely thorough, and made sure that my swaying deck was rock solid before they began laying the new decking. They went above and beyond in so many ways - removing and re-anchoring posts, fixing a tilted crossbeam and more. They always did what was right instead of what was easy, and took extra steps to make the deck look incredible. I can guarantee they did more than any other deck company would have, and I couldn’t recommend them more. I look forward to seeing what the deck looks like once the snow melts, and will post some incredible before and after photos come then. But for now I’ll just say I’m very grateful I chose Deck Science for this project.

My experience with Deck Science from my first interaction to project completion was amazing. Joe is a great communicator from the initial phone call to coming out to my place to write up a quote. He was great at going over everything with me to create a plan. He had a quote for me within 20 min following creation of the plan and sat with me and went over everything in detail. This was much quicker and a smoother process than any other contractor I've ever worked with. I was very happy with the products he had to offer and with the final quote given. He has a great online dashboard for customers to use to communicate with the company, make payments, and get updates. It made the process much easier. Working with the project manager to coordinate timing, delivery of products, and project start date was great as well. I was kept in the loop on everything which made me feel comfortable things were in motion. I was very pleased with the crew that was assigned to my project as well. They are great guys, work hard, and completed my project as planned. As you can see by my pics, this is a bit of a non traditional deck. My house was never built to have a deck built where I had them build it. They had to install a ledger board and get it in the correct height so part 2 of my plan (have my picture window removed and replaced with a patio door) could be set up for next year. They did so perfectly. The TimberTech material and aluminum railing system are great quality. They also built me some steps out of remaining material after I asked them following the initial quote which was greatly appreciated. I would choose Deck Science every time for deck projects. I would strongly suggest that you do as well.

Didn’t end up hiring them since it ended up being a smaller repair job but appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to stop by and give an honest assessment.

We are thrilled with the work from Deck Science. They were professional, prompt, and meticulous. From start to finish we were so pleased with everything. The guys who built the deck were here about 9-10 hours a day and even came on Saturday to finish the project. 10/10 recommend!!
