Platinum K9 have completely transformed my dog, Luca. He spent three weeks with them working on his lead reactivity, and the difference is incredible — he’s like a new dog! Walks are now calm and enjoyable, and his confidence (and mine!) has grown so much. A huge thank you to Imogen and the whole team for their amazing work, care, and communication throughout the process. It was clear how much they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. We had such a great experience with Platinum K9, Alex the trainer was amazing, Bishop has come back with more control and confidence. It’s still work in progress but Alex has given us the tools to make every situation a little easier. Having dealt with a reactive dog for a while and not knowing where to turn, Platinum K9 has made walks less stressful and bearable. If you’re having doubts, ring up and talk to them, they are great at what they do.

From the moment we first made contact, the staff made us feel welcome, supported, and confident that we were in the right hands. Their professionalism, experience, and genuine love for dogs were obvious from day one. Our dog, Archie, a nearly 3 year old French bulldog, had problems walking on the leash, severe reactivity, and anxiety. After just four weeks, the progress has been incredible. The trainer, Imogen, took the time to understand him, tailored the training to suit our dog’s unique personality, and gave us practical tools to continue the progress at home. The daily pupdates kept us informed of Archie's progress and the weekly video showing a snapshot of his week was a highlight to look forward to. On handover, both Imogen and Conor spent time with us, showing us how to behave with Archie both inside and outside, to set his boundaries. There was no pressure on time to complete the handover, we left when we were ready and happy that we understood the new rules with Archie. What really sets this place apart is their positive, reward-based approach. You can tell they care deeply about not just training dogs, but building a happy, respectful relationship between dog and owner. Thanks to their guidance, Archie is now walking calmly on a leash, more confident around other dogs and we feel much more confident as owners too. We cannot believe the change in Poppy. She’s gone from being completely intolerable, mouthing, ripping clothes, pulling my daughter’s hair, etc. complete antisocial behaviour in the house to being an absolute pleasure to be around. It’s a joy to watch the bond grow between Poppy and my daughter and there’s no antisocial behaviour at all. We can’t believe the change in 3 weeks. We have just picked our dog Nala up from her 4 week training course and we can already see such a difference in her. Nala was a very reactive dog on walks and in the house with certain sounds. Imogen was amazing with Nala and they formed such a great bond! We got updates regularly and a video once a week to show us how her training was progressing. Upon handover me and my husband were taught everything we needed to know to be able to carry on her training at home and to help us over come any issues we might face. We recently sent our 3-year-old Cockapoo, Benji, to Platinum after he had become very reactive and, unfortunately, had bitten people. Most of the issues happened at home when new people came to the door or when the postman or delivery drivers arrived. To replicate the home environment as closely as possible, we chose the Director’s Package. Benji stayed with Jon for four weeks, and from start to finish Jon was absolutely fantastic. The transformation has been incredible - Benji is now a much more relaxed dog who understands his boundaries and what’s expected of him. Just as importantly, with Jon’s guidance my wife and I now feel confident in the training fundamentals Benji needs going forward. We’re so grateful for Jon and the whole Platinum team and we would absolutely recommend to anyone experiencing similar issues.

Our 2 and a half year old boxer Ralph had developed a lot of reactivity, inside and outside of the home. He would lunge at anything, from kids on scooter to bicycles and other dogs. Little things would set him off from another dog barking at him or children playing loudly running past. The only lead behaviour he knew was pull and drag, along with lots of barking which meant my partner was the only one that could walk him. His in house behaviour was launching at visitors and at times mouthing and snapping at them, charging at the door every time the doorbell went, shredding up mail given the chance, and barking a lot. In the end we couldn’t have him out if we had visitors. We tried a lot of weekly training programs but unfortunately didn’t work for Ralph. His reactivity then started to lead to aggression which eventually resulted in the transfer onto myself. We ended up having to discuss rehoming him as we thought there was no other option, until we found Platinum K9, the reviews and testimonials all sounded a lot like Ralph so we contacted them. We booked Ralph in for 4 weeks residential training and they were amazing from start to finish. Leanne and Conor were Ralph’s designated trainers and they really took on board the issues we were having, and the clear communication and daily updates with pictures and videos really gave us that peace of mind. We got a full video at the end of each week which gave us an insight into the focus and progression that week. Not only did they focus on the areas that were problematic, they did a welfare check/clean every morning, they really looked after Ralph. We also had a half way call at the end of the first 2 weeks which was really nice to have that overview of how he was doing and also what to expect on the handover at the end of his 4 weeks. The handover was thorough, they don’t just hand you the lead and send you on your way, it was roughly 3-4 hours and Leanne and Conor really broke down what needed to follow onto us. They took us out into public areas with distractions and we were instantly amazed by Ralph’s loose lead walking. They showed us how to correct unwanted behaviour whilst out on a walk as well as the in house behaviours. Ralph has been home 5 weeks now and he’s a different dog, he stays in his bed unless invited off and any unwanted behaviour has been easily corrected. There’s no longer panic when the doorbell goes. We’ve even been able to have visitors with him lying calmly on his bed. I’m also able to walk him now and we can go on family walks with our young children which we haven’t been able to do in over a year. If you’re having any issues with your dog, big or small, don’t suffer, we would highly recommend these guys. This new relationship and educated way of correction hasn’t just change Ralph’s quality of life, it’s also changed ours as a family. The foundations have been set, and it’s up to us to build on that now and it’s looking positive. Thank you so much to the Platinum K9 team.

My lovely but very nervous Great Dane rescue went to spend four and half weeks with platinum k9 to help her with her reactivity to eveything… on a walk she would lung at cars, people , dogs , bikes you name it she would lung and was not safe to walk unless in fields with no one around . When I collected her and did my hand over with Imogen and Alex (Izzy’s main trainer was imogen they are both brilliant). It was so lovely to be able to walk with her confidently in her box ( at heal to the left of me) and see how much more confident she was. We walked past people , bikes , dogs, a jogger , we went past cars, vans, diggers and lorries and even a cat came walking toward us and using the techniques they taught me and Izzy had been trained with I felt confident and comfortable walking her for the first time in this sort of situation. Me and my partner sent out 8 month old German shepherd to platinum k9 due to him have very high dog reactivity and generally bad manners . The way he was before we sent him was awful we couldn’t take him out on walks anymore as before we even got out the door he started to react it just wasn’t an enjoyable pleasant experience off having a puppy . So we decided to send him to platinum k9 as all we was doing wasn’t working and it became the only thing we could think of that was going to help him , yes it is expensive but it was definitely worth it for our pup and I would highly recommend! Dropping him off I was in tears as i jsut couldn’t belive how bad he had got so seeing these updates made it all worth it ,We got updates every 2 days sometimes even more on how he’s been during the day and each week we would get a YouTube video of the progress he made during the weeks with his trainer . All off the team were amazing however Alex especially worked so hard with bear and today at handover we couldn’t believe how he was , he was able to do things such as walk loosely on the lead beside us , walk in public and the main thing he has come back with hardly any reactivity towards dogs ! Alex has chnaged out lives for the best as we honestly can’t thank him enough , he showed so much love to our pup and bear clealry loved Alex too so again thank you for what you have done !! We would highly recommend platinum k9 😊

Myself & my Partner Clare just wish to say a massive thank you to everybody that helped us with our Dog Rocky, who was struggling with reactivity issues, it was completely obvious to.us when we turned up to collect Rocky, just how well he had been looked after & trained & the bond between Rocky & Alex Halls was evident & touching, the hand over was excellent & eye opening & has given us the confidence to move forward with all the hard work Platinum K9 have put In, massive thank you too all involved @ Platinum K9 but especially to Jon for being so patient and especially to both Alex's, and a last word of thanks must go whole.heartedly to Alex Halls as our Boy Rocky clearly loves him, thanks Guys x

Incredible. We sent our micro-pocket bully Kleon to Platinum K9 for 4 weeks due to aggression, reactivity on the lead and bad habits at home. We had doubt at the beginning before dropping him off as people were advising us it would be a waste of money and he would come back the same. We can not believe the progression from dropping him off to collecting him. . Alex his trainer kept us informed every step of the week and the weekly more detailed videos were really informative to allow us to understand how Kleon had come on that week and what there focus was. He is now bed trained in house, no signs of aggression or reactivity when walking him. And we can now walk Kleon with ease. Thank-you so much for all you help and every single one of you who was apart of Kleons journey, we now enjoy taking him out! Cannot recommend enough.
