What an amazing experience it was!! I am one year and 100 pounds post op from gastric sleeve surgery!!! Dr. DeRosa came highly recommended by my Bariatric surgeon!! Today was my first visit to Dr DeRosa’s office. The staff was efficient and welcoming. Tim, the Patient Coordinator, was relaxed and friendly and made what could have been an anxious experience easy and comfortable. Dr DeRosa was exceptional. Dr. DeRosa did my breast implant explant and the results are amazing.

I am an Oncology Social Worker at the Botsford / Beaumont Cancer Center in Farmington Hills . I also work contingent at the Hospital and have for the past 30 years . I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.DeRosa at the Hospital and was able to watch how beautifully she cared for her patients . My thoughts were how can someone so brilliant , sweet, kind and caring also be a great Doctor. It was such a great environment to be able to observe her in. Since I also see all of the Cancer Patients at the Cancer Center I felt very confident in recommending her to my patients that had not had the best of outcomes with their past surgeries and felt that she would be able to help them feel better about themselves after meeting with her and hearing how she could help them . I felt very confident and comfortable recommending her to many of my patients . Since I see patients at many different stages of their treatments I would recommend her to the newly diagnosed breast cancer patients to those who had not had the best of outcomes with their previous surgeries . I am also a 3 year breast cancer survivor and requested that Dr. DeRosa do my Lumpectomy . It looked great but I did not have clear margins so I needed a complete mastectomy less then 2 weeks later . I had expanders places and went through chemotherapy and radiation treatments . I returned to work after my surgery and worked during my chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Dr DeRosa came to the Cancer Center and worked with my radiation oncologist Dr James Fontanesi to help plan what would be the best way to radiate my affected areas and to allow for maximum preservation of the radiated breast tissue . This was something that I would never expect a busy physician to do but I totally appreciated how much time she spent making sure I would have the best of outcomes. I think for many women and men going through Cancer Treatments that we feel that we are no longer in control of our lives and outcomes . I feel that Dr.DeRosa helped me to feel that this was just part of the process and that we can make sure that I would have the best outcome possible . Cancer patients also feel that they will never be whole again and Dr. DeRosa honestly does her best to make you feel that she has done everything she can to make you feel that everything has been done that can be to ensure that you feel as much like your old self as you can . Dr. DeRosas new medical facility and staff are also wonderful and make you feel that they are there to take care of you and offer you the best of care . I would recommend Dr.DeRosa to anyone and feel 100 percent comfortable sending anyone to her and her wonderful staff. The funny thing about cancer is that once you have had it you always have that fear in the back of your mind that you can have a recurrence and that you will never be the same again. I think if you surround yourself with good caregivers and physicians that have tried their best to do whatever they can to make you whole again that you just come back stronger . Maybe not the same as you once were but stronger in many ways . I think that people like Dr. DeRosa help you become that stronger person and make you feel that they cared for you and are there for you . Dr. DeRosa and her staff have been absolutely amazing. From the very beginning they have answered all of my questions and been very understanding. Last Friday Dr. DeRosa completed a fleur de lis panniculectomy and abdominoplasty with muscle repair at Beaumont Farmington Hills. I could not be happier.
