They sent two of the 3 prescriptions but the third was never received. The pharmacy has called twice and so have I and we can’t even get anyone to respond. I would say use a service that has better communication ability so if something goes wrong you aren’t screwed. Update: they called and corrected the situation.

Dr. Tammy Allen people! Fantastic! Normally I avoid doc's and hospitals unless absolutely necessary. However, I am traveling abroad outside of the country for the very first time and it was recommended for the country I'll be visiting to get vaccinated for typhoid. I love in a rural area and no one around here had a clue what to do with this. Then I took a chance, and i was not disappointed in the least! Very polite and professional service. Provided a wide range of options including various effective and safe vaccines. She provided decent country-specific information to where I was travelling. The company was not overly aggressive selling products. I would have provided a 5-star rating based on the nurse practitioner (NP) I worked with except she was unable to provide malarial prophylaxis due to some state law/regulation that precludes NP’s from doing so. Since that was a major reason why I went to the travel clinic in the first place, I then had to scramble to obtain that service. Since that is a very common service required of travel clinics it would be the decent and transparent thing to do staying on their website/adverts that they cannot provide this service due to state specific laws/regs.

The process to obtain appropriate prescriptions for travel was easy and affordable through TravelMeds2Go. Dr. Allen is very knowledgeable in travel medicine, flexible with communication, and made it painless to obtain advice and the needed prescriptions. Even as a nurse with a primary care provider, it was hard to find someone willing to prescribe reasonable medications in advance of a long international trip including back-country travel.
