I've used A France & Son for both of my parents now and they were exactly what I needed. There's so much to think about with a funeral and they helped me with every part, including all those bits I did myself. They accommodated all of my special requests (using a new venue they had never used before, having the service live-streamed, sorting out the flowers for me, and more) without fuss and with the gentle approach that I needed at that time. I've spoken to friends who have used other funeral directors and they felt there was subtle selling going on in the background to make you spend more, but with A France & Son there was absolutely none of that - I chose what I wanted without any pressure or comment. Very straightforward. At the service itself they were very professional and went out of their way to help those attending, little things like helping the older people shake out their umbrellas, showing people where the toilets were and more. Overall they were just spot on.

A France carried out the funeral arrangements in respect of our father who passed away in early January. It was Jason Clark, one of the funeral directors who guided us, cared for us and helped us through every step of the funeral arrangements and went beyond his duties for his compassion, care and invaluable support - There are no words which can describe the love and care we received from Jason.
