Our experience with KCCNE was truly a pleasure. From our meetings with Eddy, one of the owners; to Cindy, Dan, Kelli and Leo our project managers; to Shawn and the demo crew; to the staff, especially Tara, at KCCNE; to Steve and Scott, our electricians; to Bobby, our plumber; to Scott and his family, our drywall installers; to John the carpenter who took care of any minor problems that arose and made sure we were happy; to Janae, who came to clean the entire project area when the project was finished. And to Ray, our main carpenter, who was not only a perfectionist but became a friend. He helped us to avoid making mistakes and his suggestions were always appreciated. This was a full kitchen remodel, except for flooring, and all the products we chose were delivered on time and professionally and carefully installed. From start to finish everyone made the process painless even thru the Covid 19 pandemic which presented a variety of issues which were all overcome with little or no stress on us. We would highly recommend that anyone include KCCNE in their remodeling plans.

Walking into KCCNE was like scrolling through your Pinterest Account... but in life in real life, the only difference is instead of searching for ideas and/or answers you just ask Steve. Steve could not have done a better job with handling all of our questions and concerns about the removal of our current granite and backsplash. The guy is a walking manual when it comes to different granites, quartz & marble! He explained everything to my husband and I with the upmost patience of a saint. As you can imagine this was our first remodel. Steve also worked around our schedule as we only had a specific window of time to get everything done before we moved in. He even gave us references for the cabinet handles and our faucets, which we used and had nothing but outstanding services from them as well. I cannot stress enough how punctual, informative & committed the entire KCCNE company was to my husband and myself. Whole process was much easier, faster, and less expensive than I initially thought it would be. We did our countertops in April (maybe May). The workers were all very kind and hard working. Couldn't be happier with our counter tops. We went with the Blue Pearl GT. Beautiful stone.

KCCNE did a fantastic job remodeling our kitchen and putting in a half-bath. Folks helped us with the design and the work was excellent. Big shout out to the KCCNE carpenters, electricians and plumbers. First rate work all around. We especially love how they matched old woodwork and spruced up our existing beadboard. From demolition to the thorough cleaning at completion, the people working in our home were tidy and very pleasant. Everyone was very responsive to any requests we had and patient with us throughout the project. We couldn’t be happier and would call KCCNE again in a heartbeat!

Its one stop shopping. They completely transformed our home. They manage and schedule all work. From demolition to punch list. Almost every trade is in house. KCCNE has the best customer service and really knows there products. Biggest pro was they dont try to make you spend a huge amount of money, they keep you within a budget and are honest people. We love our countertops that we ordered a combo of quartzite and quartz that came out unbelievable. They have unique products and designs you wont find anywhere else. Hannah did a great job helping pick out exactly what we wanted to match our kitchen and style, which was something we struggled with when first looking at commercial stores such as home depot and lowes. I 100% reccomend this company they know there stuff and will steer you in the right direction!

KCCNE installed granite countertops in our current home about 5 years ago and we were thrilled with there sales staff, workmanship and overall cost then so when we began remodeling our summer home in Narragansett we decided to go with them for our kitchen cabinets and countertops and once again, they did not dissapoint! From the beginning of our journey, Nathan worked with us to find the perfect kitchen design and was so very patient with the change requests we had and Dave in fabrication was extremely accomodating to our time line and our last minute changes to our quartz countertops. We love it all! Our only regret is that we did not have KCCNE do the installation of our cabinetry. We would highly recommend that you use the KCCNE staff for all of your insallation needs. We would not hesitate to use KCCNE again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

KCCNE office staff and designers were wonderful! All tradesmen were skilled, trustworthy and very nice. They demolished my kitchen down to the studs; they took down a bearing wall and installed a beam between my kitchen and living room. I was anxious about the whole process, but they reassured me every step of the way! All tradesmen were at my home when they said they would be. I have a kitchen that I absolutely LOVE. I highly recommend KCCNE to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.

Extremely well, KCCNE did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, kept track and remedied issues as they came up. Although the winter snowstorms set back schedule, the team stayed on top of it, communicated, and completed tasking. The team has an interactive app that the customer can state issues - the whole team sees the issue, it is never lost! WE had to gut a two room bathroom (removing walls) and put in handicapped toilet, grab bars and walk in shower. The bathroom does not look institutional (as a matter of fact it is beautiful!). Very functional for my handicapped mother.

Great experience. Showroom is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Nathan had great plan ideas and listened to our ideas. We installed the cabinets ourselves. KCCNE gave us good tips and helped us through the process. Countertops and cabinets are beautiful. We got much more than both the big box stores (got quotes from both) and the cabinets were priced better at KCCNE. We are very pleased and will definitely go back for future projects.

We added some work to the project and the process went very smoothly.

Many thanks to KCCNE for converting our old house into a modern home! We kept the exterior walls mostly the same, but the entire house, except the basement, is brand new. Believe it or not, the project was completed while we continued to live in the house. This feat took careful planning and coordination led by Kelli and creative solutions crafted by Joe Mele. KCCNE completed the project in two phases with a short break in the middle so we could catch our breath and move from the untouched areas to the newly completed ones. The finished house feels substantially larger, has a massive kitchen with excessive counter space, open floor plan, and a beautiful master bath with a few extra luxuries. We used to feel cramped with a few friends visiting, but we recently had a BBQ with eighteen family members and had plenty of room for everyone. The details of our adventure are below, complete with the highs and lows of the project in case you’re thinking of starting a renovation. The first day of demolition our refrigerator and stove moved into the garage, an old microwave moved into the basement, and a slop sink was installed for doing dishes. Four full days of demolition and our house was hardly recognizable. The kitchen, main bathroom, living room, dining, room, upstairs bedroom, sitting area (now a master bath), and hallways were completely stripped down to the studs. The first few minutes were the most terrifying since we realized there was no turning back. Every day that Shaun and the rest of the demolition crew were there, we would come home to a surprisingly clean house. We even noticed they were sweeping the steps outside to the main entrance so we didn’t track dust back in! They made it feel like we were still coming home after a long day instead of feeling like we were entering a disaster. Once the walls were open we got a chance to see what unexpected problems we were going to face. We were lucky and we only had a few surprises. For each problem, KCCNE had multiple possible solutions. They took the time to explain the options, their pros and cons, and helped us make the right decision for our budget and schedule. We asked a lot of questions and kept ourselves involved in the project. Fortunately, because our project was so massive, they could work on other areas if we needed a little time to do some homework before making a major decision. The leads from each of the trades all met at the house with us as soon as demolition was completed. We walked from room to room explaining our vision for what we wanted. They took the time to listen, asked great questions, and remembered the fine details as they worked. Joe Pakuris, Leo (electrical), John (plumbing), and Joe Mele (carpentry) found ways to slightly adjust how they were doing their part to ensure the finished product came together as we had dreamed it up. Joe Mele really stepped up as the onsite day-to-day person. Every morning he would ask us a few questions to make sure he had our vision clear in his head and helped guide everyone as small things came up. If he wasn’t positive of an answer, he’d ask us the next morning or text us a picture so we could provide quick answers. He usually had questions a few days in advance for us so we could think and decide without feeling rushed which we greatly appreciated. One example of Joe’s creative leadership that really stood out was early in the roughing stage of the master bathroom. John agreed to route a pipe a little differently so that Joe could put a pocket door in a specific location to satisfy a bunch of goals. It may sound like a minor thing, but it solved several problems at once that we could not see a solution to any of them individually. That little change gave us a place to put our heated towel rack, made the entrance to the master bath more convenient, helped open the room, and gave the toilet area a little extra privacy. Another example was Kelli tracking down a way to create a custom shaped shower to fit our small space, but with a solid surface instead of tile. The combined Corian shower pan, Choreograph and glass walls exceeded our expectations. It looks incredible and is so easy to keep clean. We really love the master bathroom. The glass and mirrors that Scott installed, who was referred by KCCNE, really make the tiny space feel much larger than it truly is. No project of this magnitude goes forward without some issues. The real question is how a company handles those problems when they do come up. Given the scope of our project, it was surprising we didn’t have more issues; careful planning really helps avoid problems. Our biggest problem was the result of one area of granite installation. The result was not what we expected. A few folks from KCCNE came down to look at it and tried to make one fix which was reasonable, but still very different than what we really expected. We were very surprised a few days later when the fix was removed and that task recompleted a few days later better than we expected. We have a lot of respect for a company that stands by their work, especially in a gray area like this where they could have been very justified stopping with their initial fix. We know that took extra time and materials and we absolutely love the result. Many thanks to Dan and the rest of the team for going the extra mile. The granite from KCCNE is beautiful. We ended up putting the White Ravine stone everywhere, led by Rafael and the granite crew. The kitchen, dining room, both bathrooms, and stairwell ledges took approximately 4 full slabs. We have no ideas how many square feet of blueboard were needed, but we do know the new blueboard went up fast. Then Scott and his crew removed the old popcorn ceilings and cleaned up a bunch of poorly taped old seams from the original house in the process too. It was amazing to see the design Mary Jane prepared on the computer become a reality. As part of the renovation we also had some cosmetic and functional changes that we wanted to do while the walls were open. This included splitting up the original poorly designed heating loop for the house into four zones, adding beams to give the living room a wow factor (everyone says wow when they enter the room for their first time), creating a coat closet, adding insulation to rooms we felt were cold in the winter, installing a ceiling fan, improving the lighting, replacing all carpets with tile or hardwoods, fixing squeaks in the floor and stairs, upgrading the house security system, and many other little pieces that really make the house more functional and comfortable. It’s funny how some of the small things we didn’t think about were taken care of too. For example, our electricians Leo, Matt and Scott listened to how we were planning to set up the furniture in the master bedroom during that first day walk through. As the project was nearing the end we noticed the outlets near where we were planning to put our nightstands had built-in USB charging ports in them. Leo consistently told us he only does things he would do for himself in his own house. We use them every day, but never would have thought to ask for them. The same goes for dimmers on many of the switches which we use more than we thought we would. Our painter Chris, who was recommended by KCCNE, was a one-man show but worked creatively to get areas of the house finished so we could move in and get back on with our lives. He patiently waited while we debated between countless shades of blue for one bedroom. He was always cautious to remind us that he didn’t want to push in any way with color selections, but we knew he would have good ideas having seen the results of his work on countless other houses. His suggestions to go a bit bolder with some color choices were absolutely the right move. The house has a classic color palette, but with enough subtle differences to make it feel bright, warm, and inviting.

All the employees that came, they all introduced themselves, they were all very thorough, cleaned up very well after themselves and very professional. They could have done a little more updates on the scheduling for the following week, a little more communication. Most of them were on time, a couple of them didn't come until later.

It went great. The "demo" guys were neat and quick and made sure everything was in place and cleaned before they left. The installers were also on time, neat and professional. By far this was the best company that we made the decision to go with. I highly recommend them and would use their services if needed. Great experience.

They were patient and helpful as we worked through the many decisions about layout, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and flooring. The best part of the experience was the way KCCNE communicated with us through every step in the process and coordinated all the aspects of the project. Tremendous work in both design and workmanship, as well as my overall experience with the KCCNE team. From the design perspective Eddy was able to bring my ideas to life, selecting finishes, colors, and design elements that really enhanced the finished look of the room. Quality of workmanship is a top priority for these guys - from tile layout to moldings, granite and glass, all work was done with an eye to perfection and anything that needed to be corrected was done without question. The experience was great, starting with the sales person. He took the time to show us every piece of granite on the site,gave us a price that included measuring and making a template, removing the old counter top, disconnecting and reconnecting the plumbing,and installing the counter top. We found the price to be much better than expected. As for the installation, they came when they said they would and did what they said they would. Marvin, Manuel, and Julian were very professional and took the time to do a beautiful job. The plumbers came on short notice late in the day and also were professional and did a great neat job. Oh yeah they also gave us a stainless steel sink with the counter top. I would recommend KCCNE to anyone looking for a new counter top.

The entire experience was amazing! I am in the commercial construction industry and from demo to finish carpentry, KCCNE is top notch! The demo crew was extremely neat and tidy, laying out runners every day, and vacuuming every night. They were all extremely polite and agreeable to work around the dogs and cats. The finish carpentry was amazing, which in mind is always the icing on the cake. Having worked with another prominent kitchen and bath remodeler in RI, there was no comparison - I wouldn't work with anybody else for our next project.

My husband and I could not be happier with our experience! Having small children, we were concerned about such a big undertaking - KCCNE followed through on their promise of getting us functioning as quick as possible by having someone in the house and working each and every day. We are constantly told our kitchen looks like it's straight out of a magazine, and the quality and craftsmanship is second to none. The entire staff, from plumbers, electricians, designers, cleaners, and owners were great to work with and extremely professional - everything had to be done the right way, not the easy way, and we very much appreciated this! Overall very pleased with finished product. Most tradesmen were great especially carpenter. Had some issues along the way with tilers, even had a different one have to finish correct the job, but KCCNE made good on it and have stated they will stand behind all work with anything they did. Project when a bit longer than anticipated/quoted but there were holidays mixed in throughout and again issues with tiling held somethings up. Was difficult to know exactly who was serving as project manager but there are easy to get hold of via Cindy and she is great to deal with especially for such a project that is not only expensive but disruptive to your home as any kitchen project would be. Overall would recommend but need to stay on top of things yourself as you would any contractor and don't be shy to bring up issues as KCCNE will respond and correct.

My husband and I would whole heartedly recommend KCCNE to friends and family for a kitchen and bathroom renovation. KCCNE recently completed a very large job in our home. We purchased a home built in the 70?s and it was in dire need of a new kitchen and two full bathrooms upstairs. Before deciding to go with KCCNE we met with two other design companies but no one gave us the same feeling as KCCNE. A few things we liked from the beginning: all staff are very friendly and approachable, the majority of work is done by employees ? not subcontractors, they treat their employees very well and their job satisfaction is obvious, and are willing to make your budget work. Doing a renovation of any kind, especially 3 rooms at once, is very time consuming but anytime we had a meeting to go over design templates, picking out cabinets, granite etc. all staff were very punctual, had great ideas, and were wonderful to work with. In addition, all staff could easily be reached by email and they usually responded in a very timely manner which was very convenient. Probably the greatest aspect of working with KCCNE is that they truly stand behind their work 110%. They do not cut any corners when it comes to quality and getting the job done right the first time. It may affect the timeline of the project, but it?s worth it in the long run. Even after the final payment is made they still come back and fix any issue no matter the size. We did not live in the house during the renovation due to the size of the job but the workers always kept a clean job site and progress was made daily. The renovation was 99% completed in 12 weeks, which is amazing considering the huge amount of work we had done. We are totally in love with our kitchen and bathrooms. The workmanship is top notch and the cabinets, backsplash, granite, floors etc. that their designer helped us put together look straight out of a magazine. We could not be happier with the work from KCCNE.

We decided to go with another fabricator on our project, but I was impressed when I got a call from the owner after I expressed my unhappiness with the price. He seemed very honest and I would not shy away from using them in the future.

Throughout the entire process everyone was extremely helpful and professional. Dealing with an older home and leaving the custom made cabinets in place, we encountered some unexpected challenges which involved having to have a carpenter and electrician perform work. KCCofNE had their carpenter and electrician come out and do the work and did not charge any extra! The work looks great and everyone was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend them to all my friend and use them again in the future.

There were some problems along the away, but they did a nice job. I was very satisfied with the ending project. It was very expensive.

They did an excellent job. They worked with us on the design and gave us input throughout the project. They do not subcontract so everyone involved is their employee. The carpenter, Doug, was dedicated to our project and was awesome. Their teams work together to minimze the project time and ensure an excellent finished product. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and with KCCNE.

It was sort of a complete package. It included the design and consult with interior decorators. It was kind of a one-stop shop. The biggest thing was that they do all the work. They don't subcontract out to other people. They did have to postpone it a couple of times and come back, but in general it has been fine.
