First and foremost, as soon as you step foot into his office you can rest assured knowing that Dr. Abbasi will treat you as a human and not just another number.
I arrived at Dr. Abbasi's office with a broken leg. Full of uncertainty, shrouded in dark clouds of the unknown, vulnerable - I was a mess.
I will never forget how the office staff of the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County at the Boynton Beach office made me feel. Their care, compassion, and professionalism creates a down to earth atmosphere. They each had a hand in helping to restore my dignity and guided me toward my path to recovery.
Within minutes of meeting Dr. Abbasi I knew I had found the right doctor. The relief I felt, the hope that took root.
As a patient I cannot overstate the importance of being heard by our medical professionals. This is exactly what Dr. Abbasi allows you to do. He is a leading champion and shining role model in the field of medicine. Dr. Abbasi is an advocate for each and every one of his patients regardless of your age.
Dr. Abbasi gives you a platform to tell your story. While you are meeting with Dr. Abbasi he gives you his undivided attention. He never makes you feel rushed when speaking and most importantly, Dr. Abbasi listens to YOU.
Dr. Abbasi makes it a point to view the x-ray together with you while he proceeds to present you with different options that are available. Not once did I ever feel pressured to choose one option over the other. That is because Dr, Abbasi empowers YOU as the patient. As a doctor, he has a vast well of knowledge and experience to draw from and speaks to you in a way in which you are completely informed about your current condition and what to expect as a result.
With the surgery complete, I had not yet awoken and was in the recovery center. That's when Dr. Abbasi himself called and spoke with my spouse to discuss and explain how the surgery went.
Dr. Abbasi will be there every step of the way to help guide you.
There is no doubt in my mind, without Dr. Abbasi, together with the women and men who have all had a hand in caring for me as a patient up until the writing of this review - I would not be at this point in my recovery without them.
This review would not be complete without the honorable mention of Dr. Abbasi's wonderful and amazing Medical Assistant, Ms. Jennifer. Behind every great doctor is an extraordinary Medical Assistant and in this case, Ms. Jennifer absolutely awesome! If you have needs or have questions in between appointments with Dr. Abbasi, please reach out to Ms. Jennifer through the office phone system and she will be there to help you in any way she can! You will most likely have to leave a voice message; but she will contact you as soon as possible.
Here are some helpful tips to remember:
1.) Always do your best and strive to be kind, patient and respectful to everyone you meet at the office. When you are nice to others, if the need ever arises - they will oftentimes be more inclined to go out of their way in order to accommodate you.
2.) Be a good patient. Please listen and follow the doctor's orders to the T. Do everything that the doctor asks of you, I mean everything. If you follow the doctor's orders, the benefits and rewards you will receive will pay off 100-fold throughout your recovery.
3.) Arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to your appointments. If you do, there is a 99.9% chance that you will never have to wait in the front lobby past your appointment time.
4.) Fight with all your might to stay positive and motivated! You are going to have a bad day here and there, that it is to be expected. But you have to get back up and keep moving forward!!!
Dr. Abbasi will do everything within his power to get you back to your way of life before you sustained your injury! The goal is for you to be a stronger, better version of yourself than before!
You can do this!
From one patient to another: I wish you a speedy recovery!
