Lauren and I go back to NH in 2024. We I honestly wouldn’t have taken on something this big and far from home if it wasn’t with someone I completely trusted. She had a vision for the weekend from the start, and I believed in it wholeheartedly. Throughout the entire planning process, we were constantly communicating — countless texts, calls, and ideas back and forth. Every detail felt collaborative, and we were always on the same page. It never felt like I was just another client; it felt like we were building something together. What she pulled off for the entire wedding weekend was beyond anything I could have imagined. From coordinating airport shuttles, to grocery shopping for the house, to setting up and breaking down décor every single day — she truly handled everything from top to bottom. Guests were welcomed with continental breakfasts, spaces were constantly refreshed and styled, and every event felt intentional and seamless. There was so much happening behind the scenes that allowed everyone, including us, to simply enjoy being there. Then came the wedding day. Everything stayed perfectly on time, and I was completely stress-free the entire day — which says a lot because I am extremely Type A. I never once had to think about logistics because she had everything under control. All the vendors that she hand selected to be apart of the day were nothing short of incredible and she handled all communications and directions. The food was absolutely incredible, and multiple guests went out of their way to tell us how delicious it was. Every detail felt thoughtful, polished, and beautifully executed. What makes this experience even more special is that it didn’t just feel like working with a planner. Over the course of this journey, I truly gained a best friend. Ending such an important chapter of our lives surrounded by someone who cared so deeply about making it perfect meant the world to me.

Meeting Lauren and Kyle completely made our trip. We ran into them in water island not knowing where to go, and since that moment they lended a helping hand and let us use everything they could offer the rest of the trip (charted a boat for extremely low price, boated us back and forth from water island to st Thomas, drove us to the airport, showed us around water island, let us use their snorkels and equipment etc). If you want to invest in a family that built everything themselves from the ground up, and truly are the most hardworking yet giving people I know, please consider looking into their Airbnb, their boats for charter, or just see what they can offer. I guarantee they will do everything they can to make your trip amazing.

Working with Lauren was amazing! She was so accommodating and made sure everything was set up and ready to go. She helped during the getting ready process and was on top of everything that needed to be done. She was super friendly and really made sure the day went smoothly! We can not give enough stars to accurately rate Lauren and water island weddings. We reached out to several other companies to do an elopement ceremony for us and none of them ever contacted us back. Lauren was the first to reply and we are so thankful that she did. Within the first 30 minutes of speaking to her, we had a ceremony planned that included, transportation to water island, photographer, the most beautiful villa to stay in for our wedding night (with food for the next morning), a golf cart to cruise the island, and genuinely the best customer service we have received on island. Lauren went out of her way to make sure we were happy and our ceremony was so beautiful and absolutely perfect for us. From start to finish everything we dreamed of was taken care of and all we had to do was show up. Highly recommend. Best prices, best person to work with hands down.

Our elopement on Water Island was truly magical from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking, being surrounded by white sand beaches, turquoise water, and stunning views that made every moment feel like a postcard. The ceremony felt intimate and personal, just the way we dreamed it. Lauren and her team went above and beyond to make our day feel special, and we loved the unique charm and adventure that came with choosing a destination off the beaten path. Everything was handled for us, and it was nice not having to stress about the details like booking a makeup artist (Jazmin was amazing!), flowers, cake, dress, hair, ect. Lauren was there every step of the way! My friends and I went into our trip not knowing what to expect, but our stay at Little Sugar Bird Villa completely exceeded anything we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. Lauren, the hostess, was absolutely incredible and truly made the entire experience. She started each day with amazing breakfasts and made sure everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. Whether it was taking us to the beach, showing us around different islands, or recommending and bringing us to fantastic restaurants, she went above and beyond in ways we never expected. Because of Lauren, we were able to have a completely stress-free and relaxing week. We also spent time traveling by boat with Nick as our captain, and those rides were such a fun adventure on their own. The two of them make an amazing team! Overall, this was the best spring break we could have asked for, and it’s all thanks to Little Sugar Bird Villa and Lauren. I couldn’t recommend this experience more!

Hands down one of the best trips my family & i have ever been on. From start to finish Lauren & Kyle did everything possible to make sure we had the most amazing trip. They had transportation waiting for us at the airport as soon as our plane landed & met us right at the marine to make sure we got over to Water Island. Between the continental breakfast & daily housekeeping you cant get any better than that. Additionally they set up a cabana and beach chairs for you every single morning to make sure we got the best spot on the beach. Anything we needed Lauren and Kyle were there to make it happen & they truly made sure our trip was magical. Additionally Captain Nick was absolutely amazing, anytime we needed a boat ride over to St Thomas he dropped everything he was doing in order to accommodate us. The kids loved the pool and having the AC at night was a huge plus. The villa was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. We will 100% be back & we cant wait to stay with them again.

Yesterday was hands down one of the best days of our entire trip, and it’s all thanks to Lauren of Lil Sugar Bird Villa and Captain Nick. From the moment we met them, we felt completely at ease. You can tell right away when people genuinely love what they do and that’s exactly how this felt. It wasn’t just “another excursion.” It felt like spending the day with locals who truly wanted us to experience the islands the right way. They didn’t rush us from spot to spot or stick to the typical tourist checklist. Instead, they took their time showing us hidden gems around St. John that you just wouldn’t find on your own. Quiet, beautiful places that felt untouched and authentic. It made the whole experience feel personal and special — like we were getting a behind-the-scenes look at island life. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was watching our kids fish. They’ve always wanted to try it, and Captain Nick was so patient and encouraging with them. He didn’t just hand them a rod and move on — he truly helped them learn. Seeing their excitement (and pride!) was something we won’t forget. Those are the moments that make a vacation unforgettable. Lauren and Nick made everything feel comfortable, relaxed, and fun. There was no pressure, no stress — just good energy, beautiful views, and genuine hospitality. You can tell they care deeply about creating memories for families, not just running a business. Next time we stay on Water Island, we are absolutely booking Lil Sugar Bird Villa. If one single day with them was this thoughtful and well done, I can only imagine how incredible their all-inclusive villa experience must be. Based on how they treated us during this excursion alone, I have zero doubt it would be just as warm, intentional, and unforgettable. We would recommend them to anyone visiting the area without hesitation. Truly a highlight of our trip!
