It was in 2023 that I had ashes of both my late husband and mom placed under a tree. Although I didn't intend to return today for having made a wrong turn taking me to BPF and not the adjacent Bismarck Lake for a hike, I had a pleasant stroll with Jacob, a staff member to visit that tree, share my thoughts with my departed, and complete the stroll along a lovely trail covering the circumference of the grounds. Perhaps it was fated, because I wanted to visit them laid to rest under the tree before it became too cold to do so. It was quite chilly and breezy already that day before the first day of fall.

Love this choice for my husband and all our pets: we can be cremated and all placed together. Dogs are allowed on the trails. Had an open house type event today. Very happy with our tree!!

First visit today to the Point Arenas location, and I was totally blown away by its serenity. With the rhododendrons in bloom and the wind in the trees, the outside world ceased to exist. The site supervisor, Jessica, met me and guided me to the tree I had selected for my wife's remains. Jessica was incredibly kind and helpful. I can't recommend it more highly,

Our visit with Gillian & Jessica has been phenomenal. At a time of great loss & sorrow they eased the journey. Our family is so thankful for their professionalism, compassion & just being good humans.

I don't know what I expected,. But Brian, our host in the forest, turned what might have been a sad and even traumatic experience into a memorably life affirming and positive one.

I purchased a birch tree a few years back, but unfortunately it began showing signs of stress last fall and eventually died. I was invited to select a different tree. The customer care team generously agreed to meet me on Labor Day. I brought my sister and we walked on a beautiful curving trail through the woods while I considered. There were many deer moving through the forest. I even startled a fawn when I exited the composting toilet which was surprisingly odorless by the way! I felt drawn to a sun-dappled area on a ridge and we made our way over there. I was stopped in my tracks by a red cedar with a strong presence. It was tall and strong and its top was bathed in sunlight. I knew I had found my tree. I felt peace.

Wonderful place to put your loved one and to return to visit. We had an exceptional tour of the forest, learned a lot from a very knowledgeable arborist. We loved it even more when we left.
